Acrobat Connect Pro you can unable to log some after password reset

Today, it has been brought to my attention that our Adobe Connect comments accounts get "invalid user or password. Please try again"errors after resetting his password. The same error occurs if the client uses the link 'forgot password', when an administrator selects "Send a link to reset the password for this user" and, when an administrator selects 'Set the password for this user.'

I just closed an Adobe Connect support case that took 8 months to resolve, and I am not happy to have to call the new medium.

Hi Bradley,.

Rights of comments will have no possibility to connect to Acrobat Connect Pro. You will need to convert them to a full user of Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro to enable this (Administration--> Manage invited--> select the guest--> Convert to user).

I hope this helps.

  • Snap-in Acrobat Connect Pro software component crashing with screen-share

    Hi all

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with a problem I have with my Adobe Connect Add-In.

I have a relatively old macbook with Mac OS x version installed 10.6.8, along with version 9 of Adobe Connect Add-in. It seemed to install correctly and meetings work very well. Everything goes well until I try to screen-sharing, time whereby it crashes regularly, giving me a box that tells me that the application has stop working. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall with the same result.
Is it because I have an older OS? Has anyone else had this problem with only the screen sharing? Also, is there anywhere I can test my screen sharing capabilities except when I'm in a meeting, similar to how Skype has a contact, you can call to test your connection?

If you could help point me in the right direction with this question, I would be very grateful. Please let me know if there is additional information, that I do not forget to share!

    Hello allisonc85780560,

Connect addin is not supported on MAC OS X 10.6.8

Here is a link to the datasheet where you can see that you need to have MAC OS X 10.8 or above.

And to your second query on another way to test your abilities to screen sharing, you have access to the meeting and then share your screen. You can share your screen, even if you are the only participant in the meeting with the host or the presenter level permissions and check the features with the function that allows to the Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro for screen sharing.

  • Using Adobe Presenter will not solve the problem of police when I use Acrobat Connect Pro?

So my fonts in my PowerPoint presentation are not preserved when I use Acrobat Connect Pro (as it is not one of the Adobe fonts). I saw that a member of staff said that thanks to Adobe Presenter it should solve this problem, so if I buy Adobe Presenter and use it on my presentation it will preserve my fonts and also my animations/transitions, etc? Thanks in advance

It should be. The problem is that when you load a PPT (X) at Adobe Connect it converts to a Presenter presentation. However, it can use only the fonts on the server, which is the basic MS fonts. Publishing locally with the presenter should allow you to use the fonts you have on your computer, so this issue. Your animations and transitions must also be preserved, but you will have your animations sur-Cliquer for control when they are placed in Presenter.

  • Acrobat Connect Pro

The company I work for uses Acrobat Connect Pro. There are many features that are lacking in Acrobat Connect Pro that are present in the first Captivate. Having said that there is a system LMS in Adobe Captivate that is how can you integrate Captivate with Acrobat Connect Pro. How can we leverage the best of both worlds?

    Hello

    Thanks for the detailed information.

One of the biggest piece that Adobe Connect provides is its virtual classroom feature. Further, first Captivate integration with Adobe Connect VC as you open VC session within first and follow the details of the user to the first. First gives you a medium during installation and much more.

We already support the scenario of users who leave the system and new users, the Assembly system. Master permit is on per-seat basis. Once the learner leaves the system, its county seat is available again and you can register a new user for the same seat. So you can re - use your seats bought several times. (Note that a user once off bonus LMS may not return to the system. Restrict ourselves to avoid false practices)

  • Is it possible to use Acrobat Connect Pro as your LMS?

I believe it fits into your current LMS... but the functionality it seems to accomplish what I need: courses e-Learning hosting for my external clients, filing, certificates.  Any thoughts?

    Nicholas Souris says:

The real questions is: can I get rid of my MOVIES and download all my e-Learning modules to Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro?  They are available upon request from the customer as a true LMS? or depends on Adobe Connect "start" of the interface connection as an instructor and inviting the participants in a virtual classroom.

If I could use Acrobat Connect Pro to my LMS and my virtual classroom, it would save thousands of dollars.

Also, try to get an answer to this question to Adobe, it's like pulling teeth.  They are not in the LMS business and don't want to be.  Just because they have a LMS system, does not mean they want to sell, maintain and handle all the customer support that a regular LMS must.

    Nick

    Nick,

You're right that I missed the boat on the answer to that question... guess I read a little of what I thought that the question should be, not what it was. Thank you for calling my attention to this fact.

Connect can be used as your LMS? Yes. There is the learning module that allows the provision of training on demand (concurrent learner license) and live and follow-up training (named Virtual Classroom Manager licenses). While the connection is more than a light weight, LMS, it pasbien needs more organizations for the provision of training user and follow-up.

For the content of the application, there is no need to start the connection interface (meeting room, is what I assume you mean), training courses (single object) or Curriculum (collection of learning objects) will have a single URL for access. If you use a virtual class then courses on request can be initiated at the synchronous session and all the interactions between the participants will be followed.

If it helps, we have a description of the license for Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro here, Setting the Record Straight on Adobe Connect new license | RealEyes Media, in order to help clarify what can make the connection. Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

  • Share in the Acrobat Connect Pro virtual classroom courses?

    Hello

I've created a few courses in Adobe Captivate and have published them on my account Acrobat Connect Pro to test to the test.

Now, after creating a virtual classroom, it has the function of 'share a course', but my classes are not displayed. It says "only supported of course formats will appear.

What are these courses supported formats? I looked on the web and in the help files, but can't seem to find an answer?

Ah, HTML5 is the problem. Connect is a Flash application and does not support HTML5. If you publish a version SWF of your Captivate projects and make a run, it should load in the room.

  • bandwidth upstream req to run Acrobat Connect Pro video live w

Is 3mbps enough bandwidth to run Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro meetings for 6 to 12 participants upstream video live w?

Here's the technical guide of 9 Connect. Average bandwidth consumption are listed on the 2nd to the last page. http://www.Realeyes.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Adobe-Connect-9-technical-guide.PDF

Assuming that the higher quality settings each user should around a bandwidth above 500 Kbps. other things to consider is if they are broadcasting audio VoIP (44 Kbps) and for sharing their screen 200 + Kbps. So, I guess that upstream 3 Mbps connection will not suffice to attend a Connect meeting.

However, you can consider that approval can be saturated quickly with live video. Yet once again, assuming that the quality setting more high (which means that you can grant down and make more reasonable numbers) with 6 participants meeting all their video live broadcasting would require 500 kbps upstream and 2.5 Mbit/s downstream. A meeting with 12 would require 500 kbps upstream and 5.5 mbps downstream.

I don't know where you heard this information, but I can tell you that it is totally incorrect. I'm guessing that one of our competitors trying to spread the FUD.

Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro team working on several new publications and has planned an exciting roadmap. While I'm not able to share specific details on the roadmap on a public forum, I can confirm that it has certainly not intending to EOL Acrobat Connect Pro.
