  Hello

  Once more, Acrobat XI has stopped communicating with the scanner. I uninstalled all the software associated with my Epson 845, fresh software downloaded, nogo installed and still. I can scan the native tools of scanning, but not through Acrobat. What I did research, it is not as if there is a reliable fix. Any input, even if it means upgrading to the latest version of Acrobat would be greatly appreciated.

  Again, thank you for your quick response, this time leading to a successful conclusion. I deleted all the software HP original, downloaded the new update and now am once more able to perform a scan.

• Epson Event Manager cannot find the scanner driver. Epson said that the event handler is a windows thing, and so is the problem.

  I installed an Epson Stylus SX215. I can print, scan and copy if I use another way, but if I want to use the event handler it says that it cannot find the scanner driver may not use the event handler at all (cannot yet open the program).
  In addition, the scan option "attached to electronic mail" does nothing either. Don't know if this is because the event handler program or because he can not see e-mail programs I have.

  Thanks for posting. Try running a System File Checker to find errors.

  Click Start.
  In the search box type cmd
  In the menu start right click on cmd.exe and select Run - As-Administrator.
  In the command prompt, type "sfc/scannow".
  Allow this to fill and run. Please let us know if this corrects and error, or if it reports errors, it cannot fix.

  With this particular Deskjet, you won't have to add it. The application will automatically search and find all capable printers.

  You can select the Photos section, select a photo, and then see if your printer is auto-découvert on the bottom in the center of the application when you view your selected photo.

  The Microtek ScanWizard 3700 is not compatible with Windows 7.

  Download and install the Windows 7 compatibility-mode drivers and check.

  I got a HP M1120 MFP printer/scanner and I was able to scan from external sources without problem. I've have this prnter and have acquired since the above printer/scanner. Now when I want to scan external software the new printer does not appear and the old is still there. How can I set this up so that the "Acquire" option lists the new printer and not the former? If I go to "choose Scan / TWAIN Source" I still than the old printer in option. I use Windows 7 Pro. I am able to print to the printer without problem. Thank you

  Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see you were used for scanning from external with your HP Laserjet M1120MFP software, now trying to accomplish the same function with your new HP Laserjet Pro MFP M125n, you see only the old LJ.

  I wish that you can remove the M1120MFP software from your Windows 7 computer, please follow the steps below:

  1. go to your control panel - uninstall a program option. You will see a list of all the programs installed on your computer

  2 Please pull out HP all software associated with LJ M1120 MFP

  3. restart the computer

  Now, I would like that run you HP print and scan doctor- it was designed by HP to offer users the features and troubleshooting problem needed to solve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan the products connected to the Windows PC.

  When I try to scan from the HP on my Photosmart 2610 Solution Center, the dialog box says can'r find the scaller because my device installation is not complete.  I've never had this problem before and can not solve even try to download new drivers.

  Hey CC22. Have you tried running the doctor printing & scanning HP? This tool may be able to solve your problem automatically. Try it and if she doesn't post comes with new details and we'll go from there.

  I had this same problem where I could the records in the residential group, but when I timed on a nothing was going to happen. Here is how I fixed it... On each homegroup computer, do this: 1) go to control configuration\reseau and Internet\Network and sharing 2) on the left, click on 'Advanced sharing settings change' 3) scroll down until you see 'HomeGroup connections' section 4) make sure that the "Allow windows to manage the homegroup connections" option is checked. (5) follow the instructions to close the session, then it works... In case you're curious, these parameters were also controlled in the House or at work in "advanced sharing settings" - profile market discovery-lit file and print sharing - public folder sharing (not recommended) - connections sharing media streaming off 128 bit-lit hope sharing password protected, this helps!

  I have a HP laptop and you just install ADVENT printer.  I'm unable to print PDFs and Acrobat reader can not find computer.  I can print documents from word and excel to the printer.  I uninstalled and not reinstalled Acrobat reader but makes no difference

  Well, it turns out that:

  Even if it wasn't the error is displayed when you try to connect the scanner, it turns out to be the solution to the problem and I am now able to Scan over the network.

  Before installing the Scanner, follow these steps on the local computer.

  1. Please click Start and select Control Panel.

  2. Click on system and select the Hardware tab.

  3. Click the driver signing, you will be directed to the driver signing options window.

  4. In the window the driver signing options, select the ignore - install the software when even and don't ask for my approval, make this action the system default and click OK.

   

  After these changes, if necessary, reboot the computer so that the changes will take effect, and then try to re - install the scanner software.

  I use Vista Home Premium.  I used to be able to use the remote desktop connection application, but all of a sudden, it stopped working.  When I try to run it I get this message:

  It seems that there are a few system files that have trouble.  One of them being mstsc.exe, I wish you find spyware or infection by the virus first, before you try the next step.  Please see the sticky thread in the security forum.  MVP offers some good advice how to remove these problems.

  If everything is clean, we will try a repair installation to replace the problem files and also to ensure that other system files are good.

  The 'repair' installation (upgrade on-site) will not affect your installed programs or data.  Just make sure that you are already connected to your computer when you start the installation.  Do not boot from the DVD.

  If the installation does not start automatically when you insert the DVD, run setup.exe from your DVD player.

  • When the Setup program starts and the install now screen, click install now.
