  Thanks for posting. Try running a System File Checker to find errors.

  Click Start.
  In the search box type cmd
  In the menu start right click on cmd.exe and select Run - As-Administrator.
  In the command prompt, type "sfc/scannow".
  Allow this to fill and run. Please let us know if this corrects and error, or if it reports errors, it cannot fix.

  I recently bought a new computer running Windows 7.  I was able to use the ScanWizard 3700 on my old computer that worked on Windows XP.  I have installed the Scanwizard software, checking compatibility, and he said: 'no change necessary. "  But...   When I try to scan from the HP on my Photosmart 2610 Solution Center, the dialog box says can'r find the scaller because my device installation is not complete.  I've never had this problem before and can not solve even try to download new drivers.

  -Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
  WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!

  I'm fighting to get DC Acrobat and Photoshop CC to scan from my printer/scanner HP connected via a wireless network.  Acrobat DC reports no scanners found then I have to use a browser for the analysis that works every time.  So my question is which port is DC Acrobat and Photoshop to use so I can check if these ports are blocked by another application.  Many thanks and best wishes,

  Once more, Acrobat XI has stopped communicating with the scanner. I uninstalled all the software associated with my Epson 845, fresh software downloaded, nogo installed and still. I can scan the native tools of scanning, but not through Acrobat. What I did research, it is not as if there is a reliable fix.   I got a HP M1120 MFP printer/scanner and I was able to scan from external sources without problem. I've have this prnter and have acquired since the above printer/scanner. Now when I want to scan external software the new printer does not appear and the old is still there. How can I set this up so that the "Acquire" option lists the new printer and not the former? If I go to "choose Scan / TWAIN Source" I still than the old printer in option. I use Windows 7 Pro. I am able to print to the printer without problem. Thank you

  I wish that you can remove the M1120MFP software from your Windows 7 computer, please follow the steps below:

  1. go to your control panel - uninstall a program option. You will see a list of all the programs installed on your computer

  2 Please pull out HP all software associated with LJ M1120 MFP

  3. restart the computer

  Well, it turns out that:

  Before installing the Scanner, follow these steps on the local computer.

  1. Please click Start and select Control Panel.

  2. Click on system and select the Hardware tab.

  I found a topic on the same printer model for the same problem in the forum, which offered this hotfix:

  You must first complete a level 3 of the software uninstallation. I've included the steps below to do this.
  
  1. press the Windows key and the letter R
  2. type %temp%, and then click OK
  3. open the 7z folder (a more recent if there are multiples)
  4 open the util folder
  5 open the folder of the ccc
  6. double-click on the Uninstall_L3
  
  Once you have completed the Uninstall_L3, delete all of the items listed in the temp folder. Note, you will not be able to remove all the elements, please ignore those that do not. Then please empty the trash and perform a clean boot. I've included the document «How to perform a boot in Windows» If your computer does not request it, restart your computer.
  
  Once your computer is back, you must reinstall the printer software. You can do this either by using the Setup CD, or by downloading the software.

  mrsjeffyg, I recommend that you completely uninstall the printer from the computer. Make sure that all copies of the printer and the associated files are removed from programs and features, the Manager of devices, and the devices and printers. If you are connected with a USB cable, make sure that the cable is removed from the printer for the duration of the present.
