Acrobat DC Enterprise license on configured Citrix Terminal Server issues

Hello

We run into a problem with XA7.6 on 7.6 PVS and Server R2 2012. I can touch the master machine, but targets provided a challenge to users for the activation key. I downloaded the latest version of Adobe Application Manager from the link using Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition and installed. After the installation of the tool (no error), the adobe_prtk.exe utility does no where on the hard drive. I found and old version of the tool and installed. The adobe_prtk.exe file is present, but when I tried to start the chain of command line with the key and leid to generate the prov.eml file I get an error 14. We opened a ticket with Adobe about a week ago and can't seem to get anyone to call us. When we try to talk to the support, we get running around. It's very frustrating because you can imagine and the customer is livid at this stage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

adobe_prtk.exe - tool = VolumeSerialize - generate - serial = "< ENTER SERIAL #HERE >" - leid = "< #HERE LEID ENTER >" - regsuppress = ss - eulasuppress

  • Licenses on the Terminal Server

Hello.  We have an application that runs on a computer that is accessing the Acrobat object model to run code to manage PDFs on the PC.  We want to put this on a Terminal Server, which will be used for up to 6 people at any time.  I don't know what are the terms of licensing Terminal Server, I rang sales, they have said that his company, they said his support and finally, they said "we'll call back you today", but did not.  The real product is never opened by the users, we just want to access the model object programmatically. Help appreciated.

The EULA does not allow. For a special permit, you need to talk with Adobe... We cannot really help you with that.

  • ThinApp licenses in a Citrix XenApp environment

We try to understand the client for a license model ThinApp applied where it is deployed via Citrix XenApp / Terminal Server Services.  We have an application with ThinApp and stored on a single file server.  We have a farm of servers Citrix XenApp edition this request to a group of users.  My questions are:

    1. the client license ThinApp apply to concurrent users who are instatiating the application and it looks Citrx notice?  In other if I have 50 concurrent users should words I 50 ThinApp client licenses?

    2. the client license ThinApp applies to the Citrix server that publishes the application?  In other words if I have 50 Citrix XenApp / Services Terminal Server servers do I need 50 ThinApp client licenses regardless of the number of users access the application servers?

    3. the license ThinApp applies to the device that is running the Citrix client to 'see' the application?  In other words if I have 50 users who use the application that is published by Citrix, but they all use a single workstation at different times of the day would be I just need a ThinApp client license?  What happens if I had 1 user who uses up to 50 different jobs during his week of work - which would mean that I need 50 client licenses?

ThinApp is allowed per the client access.  Thus, customers 50 = 50 licenses.

Here is a document explaining the licenses.  http://KB.VMware.com/kb/1006248

  • Services Terminal Server Windows Server 2008 R2 improved Configuration Error IE

We have a Windows Server 2008 R2 with enhanced IE configuration set to off for all users on the Server Terminal Server services only.  The sessions of the Terminal services Server running Windows XP.  Whenever an end user clicks on Microsoft Outlook in a session, it executes an error from IE Configuration improved mentioning that the site needs to be added to the zone of confidence (subject: internet.)  Unfortunately, I do not know what url he speaks out.  I would like to know what precisely needs to be disabled in order to avoid the mistake of filling.  We have already defined group policy to disable this, but apparently not take after or gpupdate/force runs a logoff of connection occurred.  Of alternatives that anyone can give would be great.  Thank you very much.

This issue is beyond the scope of this site which is for the consumer to related issues.
To ensure that you get a proper answer, ask either on the Technet site, if it is a type of Pro problem, or MSDN if it's related to the developer

  • Terminal Server license EXPIRING under Advanced Server 2000 Services

We will be upgrading to a new server (using windows Server2008) S/W & hardware with a new provider in the next 6 months. However, we need to use Terminal Server services for the next 6 months on our current Server 2000 advance server until we have transitional...

We just started having this message when logging in remotely: "your Server Terminal services temporary client license will expire in 13 days. Please contact your system administrator to get a permanent license. »

Although advanced server 2000 is not supported, we need to access the remote server for about 6 months until we do the transition...  We are a very small medical office and if we cannot access the server remotely, we are in big trouble! Our doctor S/W is old and is no longer sold or taken in charge by the seller.  We were told that it would not go on the latest server software that is available.

Is it possible to temporarily reactivate (period 6 months) the license for Terminal Server services?  I thought we had a permanent license and have never seen this message before. My guess it is initially set to expire at that time.

Is there something we can do?  Registry editing? Y at - it another software that we could use instead of the Terminal services Server to temporarily access the Advanced server 2000 remotely, once the Terminal Server services license expires? Can we buy a license 'enewal"for a period of 6 months/1 year until we have to transition?

I hope someone can help us, any help is greatly appreciated!

  • license Terminal server

I need to move some licenses from the server terminal server to a new server, but could not find the original documents for these licenses. Is it possible to get information so I can move them to a new server?

    Hi BarrySalas,

Your question is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the Services Remote Desktop (Terminal Server Services) on TechNet. Please post your question in the TechNet Windows Server forum.

  • Activation of Server Terminal server licenses

I have a question on a server terminal server licensing. I used the version of the Server Terminal server before 120 days. After that, I bought a server terminal server licensing by user. I called Microsoft to activate it. I was able to activate successfully. But how do I know Terminal Server that I use now is 120 days or active version? I saw no different between activate before and after turn on.

  • Enterprise license key

I bought a package of student creative cloud half year, everything has worked. Yet when I lock the account recently, the product list does not show that I bought the package and lost the key to enterprise license. I could download only the tests. What happened and what should I do?

    Thank you

Hi, it seems that you have logged the creative Cloud Desktop Application and see the trial versions. Please, try the following steps in order.

    1. Make sure you use the good Adobe ID - if added to the dashboard as Federated ID or company ID make sure that you choose the "Enterprise" option when connecting.
    2. Disconnect and reconnect to the software by selecting help > Sign Out
    3. Make sure that you are connected to the internet
    4. The opm.db file contains the login user cached information and delete this file is a useful troubleshooting step. Once deleted a fresh file will be automatically created when you start creative cloud and reconnect.
    • Close the creative cloud application.
    • Navigate to the OOBE folder.
Windows: [system drive]: \Users\ [user name] \AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
      Mac OS: /Users/ [user name] / folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / OOBE
    • Delete the file opm.db.
    • Launch the creative cloud.

    Hi Virgina97724206,

If you are unable to retrieve your serial number and the installer through the links provided by John, you can contact customer service via chat. Cat representatives are unable to technical troubleshooting for older software like Acrobat 9, but they can get your serial number or answer questions about licensing.
