• Firefox PDF viewer (plugin) corrupts the files to download

  There is a bug report. We found that files opened in the integrated Viewer (plug-in) PDF can be damaged when downloading using the icon "Download" on the upper right corner of the Firefox screen. When attempting to open one of these damaged using Acrobat files, you receive this error message:

  "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and cannot be repaired. »

  If we instead to download the file by clicking right into the plugin viewer and select "Save Page as..." ' the file is downloaded intact.

  Hello ClayH, a fix for this problem should happen in firefox 26. in the meantime, you could also install the current development version of the pdf viewer, which is available as addon from http://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/extensions/firefox/pdf.js.xpi and that should already contain the fix.

• I want to disable firefox 19 pdf viewer and use foxit in the browser without downloading.

  I tried two methods that I have heard so far to disable the new firefox pdf 19 viewr:
  -in total: config pdfjs.disable set to true
  -options > Applications > set display pdf application

  The problem: when I'm on the Foxit pdf viewing application, firefox automatically downloads the pdf file to open it in the separate application. Until firefox 19, application of Foxit reader will open in the browser. How can Foxit not having an add-on firefox, I disable the pdf viewer 19 firefox and use Foxit Reader to open PDF files as a new tab in the browser?

  To display the content in a Firefox tab, it generally takes a plugin. If that's not come with the main installer, it seems that you can use one of them:

  • Help > install the updates inside Foxit Reader
  • Download from http://www.foxitsoftware.com/Secure_PDF_Reader/addons.php

• PDF Print Plugins does not work in El Capitan

  I have long used automator to create a plugin to print pdf, as shown on the attached screenshot.  Stocks that renaming a file, create a pdf file and then automatically rename the file, at least in part and save it.  Since the upgrade to El Capitan, the process seems to work, but the files are not created.  I had the same problem 'Open with PDF Pen Pro' and with the removal of various files and reinstall was able to do this job, but I guess that other systems use overview and it does not work and I don't know if an extract can be reinstalled.

  Anyone facing similar challenges?

• Software plugin doesn't work is not because of the order in photoshop cc2015

  I have problems with my plugin software.  I use a number of plugin and I'm having a problem with them.  They told me that all the programs of the six position or below will not be not open.  That's what I live. I use the "Topaz", NIK, McPhun, OnOne, and DFT filters.  I can get some of them to work.  How can this problem be solved?

  I would like that having something to offer a solution to this problem. I have had several accidents and sent hundreds hundreds or reports of incidents to FireFox and Adobe, but apparently, they don't have anyone accompanying such questions. There may be some setting of the majical browser that allows Adobe products work because they are designed in the browser settings. Looks like if there were specific parameters, that Adobe would have made a very clear notice of them, before offering the free download, or it must have ben said in the installation process.

  Not everyone who uses a computer is a technical expert and should not expect to have all these answers. There are technical gurus however that supposed to work in the technical support Office, somewhere in the vicinity of which the error and accident reports are sent. It is an assertion that the people of Adobe don't do their job.

• PDF viewing with apex_util.get_blob_file_src works only with 4.0

  I'm in the process of upgrading an application (3.2) 4.0 - 11.2 database. I noticed that the PDF online viewing has stopped working. It was generated by the PL/SQL process below. In 4.0, it displays nothing in the area of the page. Someone at - it ideas (or any better suggestions on how to display embedded PDF files)?

  is it possible, that the "Source value or the expression" article hidden page that contains your BLOB column name contains colon as well? If you really followed Astrid blog I would think that it contains a colon in the value. Please delete everything except the name of the BLOB column.

  Because you used a hidden field and not a "Browse file" with a status of 'Never', the value of the "Source value or the expression" has not been migrated to the new syntax of the type 'File browse' point that does not separate the colon syntax more.

  I have a Brother MFC-J430W had worked flawlessly for a year, but recently it has stopped working as a scanner. If I try to run a scan of the device or my PC it gives me an error that there is no. "MFC-J430W is not found. If the device is OFF, turn on the device. Check the I / F cable connection between the device and your computer. If the scanner works with another application, cancel the scan or wait for the analytical work to complete, and then try again. CC4-202-00000008.  I worked with support brother and followed every step of troubleshooting with no luck.  They tell me now that I need to contact Dell because it's a registry problem now.  They tell me if I say I can not scan when I press the button scan Support of Dell, but I can scan from my pc through something like PaperPort that they should be able to help.  Unfortunately my office is off support and when this happens, that Dell doesn't let you email support more?

• AutoPlay doesn't work the first time

  Our client is to get a little upset by something happens with their outputs CP4, and I don't know if this is 'normal' or something is wrong.

  The .swf/html play very well the first time.  However, if a user goes again and run the file once again, he plays the first slide, and then jumps to the end.  We checked our navigation and it seems to be well (go to the next slide). We have removed the status indicators, think there is a kind of updated cookie that has identified this module as it was already performed by the user.  The problem occurs if it is served from a server web or played on a local computer.

  I take a great success on this.  And I don't know where else to look at.

  I need to fix it... any suggestions?

  My guess is that you have to click on project > Table of contents. Then click on settings... and make sure that the Self Paced Learning option is disabled.

  

  If you find that the option is already cleared, you could then review the version of Flash Player.

• Problems with the Acrobat PDF acceptance of the EULA in Safari Viewer

  We are currently having problems with our Acrobat PDF Viewer in Safari. When users open a pdf file in Safari, he is invited to the first open Acrobat Pro and accept the EULA. We tried a variety of different things, but we have been unable to remove it.

  Here's what we tried:

  Adding a FeatureLockdown to the com.adobe.acrobat.pdfviewer.plist and the com.adobe.acrobat.pro.plist blocking EULA, EULAAcceptedForBrowser and bLaunched to true.

  Repackaging Adobe Reader with the EULA accepted again.

  Remove the Adobe PDF plugins (it had marginal success, but it defines an extract to the default pdf viewer outside of Safari as well.) It takes Acrobat to stay by default.)

  I can provide the plist files edited if they are needed.

  I managed to solve the problem by applying the following preferences for all user accounts (our deployment toolkit can do for new users and profiles set cache):

• 28 Firefox crashes when I try to print to the printer, Acrobat PDF

  Hi all!

  I observed a problem when I try to print a Web page in Firefox v28 using the printer of PDF Acrobat (Acrobat Pro 9.5.5) installed on a Virtual Machine (VMware View 5.2) with Windows 7 64 bit. Print dialog box crashes (no response) after the pdf dialog box "Save as." Then I have to force Firefox to close, and subsequently an Acrobat PDF conversion dialog box appears with the progress bar has stopped in the middle. I must also close it afterwards.

  The other programs (Office, IE, Notepad...) are able to print through the PDF printer without problem. The problem appeared after the automatic update of Firefox v28, since when I downgrade to Firefox v26 the problem disappears.

  I checked a setup similar to a physical computer (W7 64 bit, Acrobat Pro 9.5.5, v28 of Firefox), and everything works fine, so I think it's a change that's happened in Firefox v28 who has a problem with the configuration of the VM. I also tried to change the Firefox profile, reset Firefox and reset the print settings and reinstall Acrobat. No luck.

  I would like to know if anyone knows some changes in Firefox v28 printing or related to any service or update that may have a problem in the virtual machine.

  I just try with Firefox 29 in the same virtual machine, and it works perfectly, so I guess that is a bug in version 28.
