Acrobat Pro XI hangs at the end of the download screen

Hello

I am trying to download the trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI using Adobe Assistant.  I'm on the screen which shows Adobe Assistant download Acrobat Pro XI and he seems to have reached the end of the download.  The display shows "Download 501 MB -" less than 1 minute and the indicator blue download has reached the end of the line.  However, it has reached this point, more than 20 minutes ago and was blocked on this screen since then.  No other guests appeared to take the next step to install Acrobat.  It's the second attempt and exactly the same thing happened the first time round.  Suggestions as to what I could next to install Acrobat would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

BK2017 often occurs when a directory is selected to download the installation files Adobe Download Assistant doesn't have sufficient access to save the downloaded files.  I would recommend to cancel the download and try again.  Please choose the default location of your user directory.

If you continue to experience difficulties, then please consult http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-xi-pro-standard-reader-direct-download-links.html for more information on how to bypass the Adobe Download Wizard and download the installation successfully files.  Please be sure to fill the very important Instructions before scrolling down and clicking on the download links.
