    Hi lindat7439924,

There is no uninstall for Mac Reader program. You can directly delete the application from the Applications folder, which is just trash/Applications/Adobe Reader.app.

Then you can download Adobe reader from here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  • The installation of Acrobat Reader program does not work

I tried Chrome, Firefox and IE. I tried turning my Microsoft Security Essentials to offshore; turn off my Windows Firewall. Nothing works. I am running Windows Vista 64-bit. I followed the online instructions for installation on an earlier version of Windows, but when I get to direct download, there are so mnay different files, and I have no idea of this file to download. Always the same thing happens. I have download the installer, then will have to run two times, and then Windows authorization. and the downloader, it is, never download. And it will sit there for hours doing nothing. I even left it for several hours because I know from experience that these facilities can take some time. I'm just at the end of my mind and need your help.

    Hi Cyndi Stines-MacAfee.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Could you please let us know what version of Acrobat Reader you trying to install?

If you try to install the versions of MS Reader Acrobat or Reader XI, then wish to inform you that they are not compatible with Windows vista.

The version compatible drive is drive X, you can download and install from this link: ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/10.x/10.0.0/en_US/AdbeRdr1000_en_US.msi

Let us know if that helps.

  • I started Windows 7 Windows 10 times Acrobat Reader updated to DC.  Now Acrobat Reader DC does not work and I can't reinstall.  The installer says newer version is already installed.  How can I fix it?

I'm stuck in limbo.  I fell sick of the poor performance and constant crash of Windows 10 and back to Windows 7.  I was warned that I may have to reinstall some software and was pleasantly surprised when nothing seemed to miss.  Then I noticed that the new Acrobat Reader DC icon was just a white icon on the desktop.

Of course, the reader does not open when I clicked it, then I went to uninstall and reinstall.  No go.  The uninstall program complained that he was unable to find the. MSI file in the path with the big ugly GUID in there.  I really care about the features of cloud of Document in any case, if I am I would like to install Acrobat Reader XI and finish with the DC version.  Again, no go.  The Setup program stops and a message that a newer version is already installed.

Next, I tried to reinstall the CD think that Setup is trying to fix the Bjorked version on the disc.  No go.  Once again the installation program complained that a newer version is already installed and bailed out without doing something useful.

So, I'm pretty damn good here because I can't go forward and I can't go back.  Windows 7 uninstall tool think I installed Acrobat Reader XI and when asked to uninstall it still trying to dive into the folder Acrobat Reader DC and can not find the MSI file he seeks even if lead by the nose.

Setup of Acrobat Reader DC think that some superhuman drive versions are installed and will not install no matter how much I beg it.

    What should I do?

    Claudio,

I have found cleaners and tried both version 4 and version 2 as Windows uninstall although I still have version 11 on my system, but could not uninstall it.  Even after using detergents and restarting, the installation of Acrobat Reader complained that it was a newer version of the PC alreadyon and came out of the installer.

I finally decided to remove all records of Adobe in C:\ProgramData and that did the trick.  I was able to reinstall the version 11 player, and I think I'll stay with that after the nightmare of all clouds 'features' in Windows 10.

  • Newly installed Acrobat Reader DC will not edit a PDF file

I downloaded Acrobat Reader DC in order to be able to modify a PDF file. However when I click on the toolbar 'Edit PDF', no tools are displayed. When I click on 'Tools' and under 'Edit PDF' select 'Open' a blank page opens, (not a page with the document for editing). I tried with a few documents. Sometimes the document desired "flashes" for about 1/4 of a second when I select 'Edit PDF - Open', but then it disappears.

I said in the first post.

"Adobe Reader cannot edit pdf files. When you click on edit, just asking you to purchase the full version of Adobe Acrobat. If you have purchased, you must download, install it and use it to open and edit your pdf files. »

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader app will not let me fill out forms

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader on my iPhone. I tried to fill out a form from this link: http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864.pdf. It's a protected form and Acrobat was not let me fill out the form. I tried to fill in the form with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my PC and I have not had any problems. I also tried FoxIt PDF on my iPhone and I had no problem with filing of the form.

    S Malik,

The PDF in particular (i - 864.pdf) is a special type of PDF form called a static XFA form.

Unfortunately, mobile applications of the Acrobat Reader (for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone) do not accept the static or dynamic XFA forms created with Adobe LiveCycle Designer.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • I replaced 3.6 with 4.0 and it will not work on my mac OSX 19.4.11 and need to reload 3.6, if you please tell me how

Your home says page version 4.0 is ready to download on my mac, indicating that it will work with my version (OS x 10.4.11). After loading, my computer asked me if I wanted to replace the new version with my computer, with a complicated language that I discovered meant that I had to stay with 3.6 and remove the addition of version 4.0. Well, I deleted the 3.6, added to version 4.0 and my computer now tells me that this version of Firefox is not compatible with my computer. Please tell me how I can recharge 3.6, have Firefox and enjoy again! Thank you, Tom

Unfortunately, Firefox 4 supports only Mac OS X 10.5 or higher Intel processor. The system you are currently using is no longer supported by Firefox (details can be found here).

You can revert to a previous version of Firefox by following these steps:

    1. Open the Applications folder.
    2. Drag the Firefox application to the trash.
    3. Download and install Firefox 3.6 from here.
  • During the installation of Firefox 4 beta, he told me that it does not work on my Mac. When I go to system requirements, need a page for Firefox3.6 requirements. Where can I find the requirements for the beta?

The link to the minimum configuration for Firefox 4 beta takes you to a page that gives you the requirements for Firefox 3.6 instead. I guess that the requirements for the beta are different, that I can't seem to install the beta on my Mac. Where can I find the beta version of system requirements?

Firefox 4 will not work on the Mac PPC, for Mac it needs the Intel processor. There is an accumulation of third parties based on Firefox 4 beta, which should work on Mac PPC, for details, see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/

  • internal card reader must be disabled and then enabled in before Device Manager it will not work properly.

Whenever I start my computer, my internal card reader must be disabled and then enabled in before Device Manager it will not work properly. I put an SD card in there and auto does not work. I check my computer and it shows that it is there, but when I double click on it to open it I get a message saying: Please insert the SD card. When I go to Device Manager and disable and enable fine orks. I tried different cards, but it makes no difference.
I installed a different card reader, but another did the same thing. This leads me to think it's a matter of Windows.
I tried to do a repair install, but it ends and said that the upgrade has failed?
Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem.

I am running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. It is a Renesas controller and I use the 2.1.28.0 with firmware driver 4015.

I'm not sure but I may have found the problem. I see where a guy here was having a similar problem and it was caused by Acronis. I recently installed Acronis 2012. I have been lucky to uninstall, but I will update this post when I do.  He was also running windows 7-64 bit on a motherboard ASUS!

Acronis was the problem.  I uninstalled Acronis and now my card reader works as it should.  Strange!

  • Installation problem: IMSLib not found.  Services of Acrobat will not work.

    Hello

Have a new widows 10 Office pro with SSD climb like drive c: with OS and set for the D: drive to the default installation for all programs.

With Adobe Creative cloud, I tried to download the desired programs, but after many problems and failures, I gave up and I contacted Adobe.

I have been informed, if you sell products Adobe CC user must be the default C: drive.  They then gently took more than an hour on a remote PC link to define the system as you wish for them

Finally, we have programs to download

Problem is Adobe Acrobat DC after launching the program I get the message ' installation problem: IMSLib not found.»  Services of Acrobat will not work. »

Anyone has any idea why and what I can do about this situation - because I consider the abandonment of the CC and revert to the version of CS

Adobe, you make this so difficult why not let users decide where to install programs on the machines out there

  • My Adobe Acrobat Reader App is not closed and keeps my computer of closing

I downloaded Adobe on my Mac with OS X a few weeks ago, everything was fine and I was able to use it until I opened it last night to view a document and it froze just for no apparent reason. I have tried EVERYTHING to close the application or even uninstall it but nothing will work. I tried the command-Q, I tried to shut down my computer or restart it, but every time I try it says Adobe prevents my computer from closing. I also can't open the files on Adobe Reader, because it tells me that it is already open, and I have to close it first to use it. Even when I try to uninstall in my Finder Applications it will not work.
    What should I do?

    Thank you

    Hi vickym20978875,

Could you please let us know if Adobe Reader freezes when you open a specific pdf file or with all the pdf files?

    Try the steps mentioned below:

    1. disable protected mode, launch Reader > click on the Edit menu, and then click (protection) > click on protected mode > and then click on turn off > OK.

2 - if that isn't working, perform the steps here: How to reset preference settings in Acrobat format.

Let us know if the above given not worked.

    Thank you

    Hi Stephen39,

Do you have any 3rd party plugin installed for Adobe Reader? If not, close all instances of Adobe Reader running and delete the entire folder to: C:\program Adobe [version] \Reader\plug_ins.

Now go to control panel > programs and features. Locate the entry for Adobe Reader X and choose to repair the installation.

If you do not have a 3rd party plugin installed, try to uninstall them and see if the problem is related to the same. If it works, let me know what plugins have been the origin of the problem so that I can have a look.

If all goes well, this should fix things.

    Thank you
