Acrobat XI unlock verified signatures

We use an external signature (Signature Gem) buffer to have patients sign documents that exist in their electronic cards. Once the signature buffer has been used, the diagram is locked.  We are no longer able to add, modify or delete any element of the array.  We are using Acrobat Standard XI.  How can I change this setting so that we can use the external signature stamp and continue editing the graph?  Thank you!

A digital signature can be locked. It seems that your signature. Do you get the dialogue of 'Sign' of the standard Acrobat, like this (this one is from Acrobat DC, but in Acrobat XI is similar):

If you do, then look at the box "lock after signing the Document. If it is checked, then the created signature will be locked. Clear this check box. If you do not get this dialog box when the signature, dialogue which, if any, get you? It is possible that the software behind your created signature signature buffer forces must be blocked. In this case, you should ask the provider signature stamp for instructions.

The other possibility is that your PDF estcertifie and certification authorities do not permit the actions you want to apply. But in this case you would not be able to perform these actions before you sign, which is not the case according to your description.

  • How can I send Acrobat DC to the signature request details of the sender?

So I tried to use Acrobat DC for the first time the other day to manage the signing of an agreement - a process which we just finished historically using echosign web interface (including the definition of the form fields, etc.)

Despite the introduction of fields as 'necessary' and with the role of participant "sender", at no time summer I asked for them to be filled during the sending process (which at the time was not unexpected, given we have a tendency to use "sign, so I sign" on echosign). However, when the client has signed the agreement, he was not sent to me for signature, but was simply listed as "signed."

I looked into other conversations relating to the fields of signature here and see talk of supposedly able to sign inside acrobat before sending them (I don't want to do that, we sign last!), but when I tried, my signature field is simply treated as a text field by Acrobat.

Is the only way to manage the signatures of the sender correctly to continue to use the interface web echosign to send documents?

    Hello Susanb9180290,

In Desktop application, the option "I have need to sign" as the first or last is not available from the web interface. I took this as a feedback and it will certainly go. As a solution, if you sign the document first, then you can select "fill out and sign' to apply your signature and select"Get others to sign"on bottom right.

  • How change a PDF file created with Acrobat Pro XI after signatures have been applied (as I can in 7, 8.0

I have a major problem that I need to resolve before we can buy Acrobat Pro XI:

Currently, with Acrobat Pro 8.1, after all signatories sign a document, we add an effective Date (we add it after they sign since we do not know when the last signature is acquired and we cannot have an effective Date that is prior to the date of the last signatory, moreover, it would be effective before they signed, which is not possible). I am also authorized the latitude (as described in our Documentation control procedure) to make spelling corrections, hyperlink updates and minor formatting changes (using the typewriter and, also, by replacing a page which is NOT signed so page change shows how to repaginate the document or the amendment of a hyperlink that has changed).

In all versions previous Acrobat we used (7 Pro, Pro 8 and 8.1 Pro), this was easily possible and any changes would be listed on the Signatures tab, which is exactly what we want, is traceability.

I now use the trial version of Acrobat Pro XI but get the message "this document is signed and cannot be displayed." If I bring the same PDF created from Word 2003 & 2013 using Acrobat Pro XI in Pro 8.1, however, I CAN add the date, use the typewriter and replace unsigned pages, register and leave without compensation or lose any signature.

My question is this: How can I do this in Acrobat Pro XI, as Pro XI (in the Signature pane) lists also changes made to the document, when it was edited using Pro 8.1? (It's OK that the changes made to the PDF and then mark signatures as "invalid", as the reason why they were invalidated is also listed in the pane of the Signature, for example "form field added," which is usually the Date of effect applied).

    Thanks for any help!

Thank you, Zildjian, and isakten. You me headed in the right direction. What I ended up doing was just a form text (for entry into force) field, then the required signature fields. After everyone has signed, I can the Effective Date of entry, then save the document and I don't have to sign myself or apply any type of certification. I just have to remember to put the text before form field I have forward the documents. It's the right answer, at least for my situation.

    Thanks again!

As far as I know when a cert is used to sign a piece of data the cert inserts a URL in the CSF so I manually decoded the <-byte array > in the XMLSignatureVerifyResult and found that it includes a reference to a Revocation list to http://indc1digitalid-G3-CRL.VeriSign.com/IndC1DigitalID-G3.CRL ...

So I don't know why LiveCycle is not checking the CRL to see if the certificate is valid. Any help would be great.

In general when the signerStatus is UNKNOWN this is due to the fact that the certificate (public key) is not approved on the side of LiveCycle (trust store) for 'identity '.  In your case, you have a valid signature, which means that the data has not been modified, but LiveCycle only not know\trust 'who' is the signatory.

A copy of the certificate root VeriSign (public key) and import it into the Bank of trust ADEP\LiveCycle "certificates" section.

  • How to control a certificate of signature by default on Acrobat Reader 8 and 9?

    Hello

I would like to be sure that the readers of Acrobat 8.0 and 9.0 certificates of signature of control by the date and time of the signing of the document?

Thanks in advance for helping me.

    Best regards

By default, the CD player uses "thetime at which the signature was created" to verify signatures (i.e. the #1 option you mentioned above).

It is configurable in the "Signature vérification Préférences" dialog (Edit |) Preferences | Category of signatures); screenshot below. In Reader 9, the default value is the same and is under Edit | Preferences | Security | Advanced preferences button.

Aside: Since Reader 8 and 9 are beyond end of life https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/end-support-acrobat-8-reader.html and you will not receive any security updates/bug fixes, my request would be to upgrade to a supported as single CD version.

Otherwise, to start windows, so you can investigate further, press the ENTER key to display the boot menu, press F8 for Advanced Startup Options, then select last known good. Info: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file.

    * So what the hell is happening? Sorry, but am getting very frustrated by that. I noticed that windows creates a file called windows.old. Avoid the old windows, it's an empty hard disk, and it was an installation of full version. NOT an upgrade. As to why my product key does not work... not even me angry by publishing what I've seen elsewhere in these forums. I DO not pay another $200 for a different product key. This one should work. I just opened this "thing" to do the installation. So if this key was stolen, it was stolen that microsoft has packaged discs.

Can I safely delete this file called windows.old (assuming that I can always go back to windows 7)? Do you think this has nothing to do with the problem? Or should I do what ppl do upgrades mean that they have to do... Reinstall win 7?
    * He let me use F8 for advanced options to disable the driver signature.

Thank you! Got the product key problem is resolved. I saw on another post, you stated

"The start menu with EasyBCD by NeoSmart Technologies edition should solve your problem, it provides a graphical front-end to the BCDEdit Command line that makes it easy for you to set the boot settings and change the entries start on the new window manager.

    http://NeoSmart.NET/DL.php?id=1   "

Now that address my other question as much as me have allowed difficulty delivers windows boot is seen? I see that windows 7 is a file boot.ini as previous versions of windows. I would like to see the "command-line" some win 7 has instead of boot.ini file uses. I suspect something may be there that causes the driver signature error... and tried the 'bootrec' methods above doesn't solve anything for me.

Thanks a lot for your help in this matter. (Once I get the verify signature driver disabled it goes straight in win 7 and win 7 works fine.) It just will not be disabled whenever I start my pc. I always have to fight to get the window that gives me the ability to disable.)

  • By exposing the "reasons" for the signature in Acrobat Pro XI?

I want to define the reasons to sign a document in my digital signature. However, I can't find any place that allows me to enter this information.

For example, I want to enter something like "to confirm my participation."

I found some docs support but they all refer to Acrobat X security Prefs that are different from Acrobat XI.

In Acrobat 11: Edit (or Acrobat on Mac) > preferences > signature > design & appearance > more > show motives

or did you want to add an item to the list of reasons for which you are presented with?

I passed the security settings and select: fast for "Unsigned download Active X controls" and: ask the user 'initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as secure..'  and 'activate' to 'run ActiveX controls '.

I even added the IP domain in my zone of confidence and lowered my security level to 'low '.

  • How to add more than one electronic signature on a model

Hi, I searched online and on the Bulletin Board in regard to trying to add more than one additional signature area to the I am working on a form template, which requires more than one signature. I went through the whole process and placed all the boxes of signature for each participant (3 in total), but whenever I send on should be dealt with by my colleagues and we have try to sign, it only allows us to do an e-signature and not the other 2 signatures that must be included with the paperwork. Please can someone advise if there is a step that I might be missing?

    Hi karlac94348387 ,

Please provide the application & version of the OS installed on your system.

Also share you workflow & name of the application using what document is signed.

If you submit this form using Acrobat application place digital signature fields, make sure that save you the form with Reader features Extended so that if other users have only the Reader app they can fill out the form as well. (File > save as other > Reader Extended PDF > allow more tools)

You can also place electronic signature fields after the role definition for all participants for the respective fields using "send to the signature" (if you have Acrobat Pro DC continuous version), more on this please refer to the article:- adding form fields. Tutorials
