AcroPDF.dll being disabled by Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection

With the help of:
Adobe Reader 11.0.10

IE 11 (with 'Run anti-malware software ActiveX controls' enabled for the area)

The Microsoft Antimalware component of PEIE IOfficeAntiVirus seems to be blocking the viewer Adobe Reader ActiveX (AcroPDF.dll) by adding the key "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Settings\ {CA8A9780-280 D-11CF-A24D-444 553540000" to mark as being dangerous.

Adobe is aware of this and they are from Microsoft? If not, someone can do it please?

Paul.

Hello

This issue has already been reported as a bug & we hope to get it fixed in the January update.

  • can microsoft Systems Center essentials monitoring VMware Vms

Hi, I was looking at the microsoft Web site for more information on support for systems Center essentials microsoft. The documentation does not list the Vmware virtual machines under the list supported or not supported. Does anyone know if this product version 2007 or 2010 is supported for VMware monitoring?

    Thank you, Mark

    Hello

You can monitor your virtual machines in the same way as a physical server, and System Center can of course monitor your virtual machines.

In addition, use the VMware for System Center Operation Manager Management Pack, so you can monitor entire VMware infrastructure.  See this link:

  • Problems installing System Center Data Protection Manager 2010 in Server 2008 r2 DataCenter

I try to install DPM 2010 and I installed all 4 of the installation of packages and they are all in the same folder according to the installation instructions on Microsoft Technet for DPM site 2010 and I clicked on the 1st package install and it unpacks the original installation package and it brings up the install window install data protection manager and clicked on install and I get the following error on the redistributable Visual C++ - Redistributable package Installation of Visual C++ has no... Run vcredist_x64.exe \redist\vcredist\ to install vcredist and re-run Setup.

Whenever I tried to install the vcredist_x64.exe which was provided with the download I get the error that it cannot install, tht, there was an unexpected error.

I downloaded the redistributable Microsoft and tried to install it, but the 2010 version is already installed and I could not install the version of 2008 on the 2010 version. I tried to download Visual C++ 2008 redistributable sp1 and installed correctly but when I come back and you try to install the System Center DPM 2010 setup.exe it always tries to go to the folder with the not redistributable sp1 provided with the download and it freezes in half way through even though the correct redist "is installed for server 2008 r2 x 64.

Anyone got any suggestions? I've been searching and trying to figure out for hours and I don't see anything in the KB for DPM 2010 or technet.

Where can I download this? I was not able to find it in the download portal.

This package is actually available on the login server view itself once you have it installed.

  • Mouse Vista freeze for mobsync.exe (Microsoft Sync Center)

    Hello

My Vista system had mouse freeze for 10 or 15 seconds every few minutes for some time now, too long for me to start simply undo the restore points. I read what is on the net about others who have had the same problem and tried many patches, but without success to get rid of or even change the problem.

I have a MS optical blue USB mouse, running on an ultimate Vista update install on a Dell workstation. Gel mouse is often coincides with the hard disk activity, so I tried to decommissioning and anything that may run intermittently the hard disk in the background, but once again without any effect on the problem of indexing.

Recently, I brought up the Task Manager and left open. A few minutes later when gel mouse happened again, I saw "mobsynce.exe" appears in the list of processes, and then disappear a few seconds after the mouse resurrected itself. That's what happens whenever the mouse crashes, at least on my system.

I had never heard "Microsoft Sync Center", and read on this subject on MS gave me not a lot better understand why it's popping in and out, as if it were. I tried to turn off all the files and readers, without changing the frequency of freezing.

MS wrote of Sync Center can not be disabled or uninstalled. I have not all attached to my machines, I know mobile devices. I am on an intranet home, and I have the HP MediaSmart Server on this network, as well as some other machines.

In Sync Center, I have nothing that could be stopped to be synchronized, no evidence of errors, etc. Its only function on my system, seems to be to freeze my dozens of mouse of times every day.<|:-)>

Anyone know about this feature from the center of synchronization and how to behave and leave my mouse only or even what the devil Sync Center is supposed to be for? Is there something to do with it being a USB mouse that makes the Center Synchronization think to check for "synchronization"?

As part of the 'trying everying that everyone has suggested on the net regarding the mouse Vista freezing problem', I have installed/uninstalled drivers for this mouse mouse, but also using some generic driver for Vista is here. No change to anything. I have not tried switching to the a PS/2 port, but only because what I read just said he is indifferent to the problem.

Thanks for your help with this.

    Ian J.

    For all the world's information...

I rebuilt the USB stack and introduced to the mouse backwards to a USB mouse. I experienced the same problem as before, gel apparently slightly worse, which makes the mouse unusable. The only solution that worked in my situation is plug the USB mouse with a PS2 port adapter and use it that way. There are still sometimes 'breaks' but not gel, and they may have other causes.

  • D3D is disabled on my system for 32-bit programs and 64-bit, it works perfectly

D3D is disabled on my system for 32-bit programs, but 64-bit, it works perfectly. I previously had this problem but may not know what I did to cause this.
The only thing I found which seems to lack it is installing the dirext x Diag information are below.

I reinstalled the drivers, put my graphics performance up and tried to reinstall direct x but it tells me its already there. Theres no option or a button to activate the d3d in dxdiag and I am full of ideas. I have a nice pile of games to work through, but none works. Any help is appreciated.

Tom, tell him below.  It worked for me.

Use the command REGEDIT and change the key "SoftwareOnly" to "1" to "0" in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Direct3D\Drivers

and then restart the system and it should work.

  • DWM. Tips of memory EXE, resulting in aero being disabled, when you use a window on a driving instructor by a secondary graphics card

(I was going to the origin of this post in response to this topic, but it seems to be dead and, possibly, a different question.)  ( This thread is probably the same problem and has some information, but is old and sidetracked.)

I used to run two s AMD Radeon 6970 in CrossfireX, 3 driving instructors from the main videocard, without any problem.  I decided to take two cards off CrossfireX and run them independently, with two monitors driven by the second video card.  Now, whenever a window on a monitor driven by the second video card does a lot of update - like scrolling a page of MS Answers in IE or FireFox - I see not the use of the memory of dwm.exe rocket up to approximately 2 GB (it takes about 3 seconds) before Windows turns off Aero and returns to the Windows 7 Basic color palette.  This does not repro on the instructor by the first video card (memory dwm.exe use remains stable, Aero is not disabled).  I've been hunting the internet for everything and time now looking for an answer, nothing has worked, but I found a lot of posts on the same problem.

Other information that might be useful, based on what I saw:

    • All my drivers are up to date
    • All BIOS are up-to-date
    • DWM.exe is the only process that stings
    • I can re-enable Aero by him switch back to an Aero theme, and the problem with reproducing again
    • Scrolling or watch that video in IE or FireFox YouTube reproduces the problem constantly, but I can repro by continually moving a FireFox window, so it seems linked purely how drawing is done, the speed and how permanently.  I have same repro when scrolling in this text of entry for this message box.
    • If I stop the scroll/movement/whatever before DWM. EXE hits 2 GB, the drops of memory use down to normal (around 90 MB).
    • I Live Mesh, but I killed it and the repros still problem.  I also tried to disable the Windows Live display driver, but it did not help.
    • I tried to delete the DirectX under HKLM\Software\Microsoft key, which did not help.
    • Nothing is written to the system event log when this happens

    To summarize:
DWM.exe uncontrolled spike memory when a large number of drawing happens on a monitor driven by a secondary graphics card, with resulting Aero is disabled.

    System Specs:
OS: Windows 7 SP1 Professional, completely up-to-date (clean install - not upgraded to Vista)
Processor: Intel core i7 2600 K 3.4 GHz (stock speed)
    Memory: 16 GB DDR3 1866 MHz
    Motherboard: Gigabyte P67a-ud7-b3
Video: 2 x AMD Radeon 6970 2 GB (only the repros when you don't the crossfirex) (both cards must be running at the speed 8 x PCI-E in this configuration on this mobo, have not verified)
Monitors: 3 x HP ZR24w @ 1920 x 1200 60 Hz color 32 bit depth (horizontal, Center monitor is primary & driven by the first video card, others by second video card)
    Hard drives: Crucial realSSD C300 256 GB, Western Digital WD5000AAKS SATA2 500 GB SATA3

    More information available on request.

If anyone knows a workaround for this problem solution please let me know.  I'll post any solution that I ended up going with.

    Thank you!

    Hi Fabio,.

This sound like a problem specific to AMD and you may need to contact them for specific support for this problem.

  • System Center r2 2012

I work in a school and I can see through our volume license console we have System Center configuration manager 2012 r2 in there. Are we able to obtain the System Center service manager r2? how much is it to add to our licenses.

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)

I created a file to play a Powershell Script that imports a module.

The PS module has been deployed to all servers in folders.

Executing files, it can't... I founf out that the new PS module is not imported through the host of orchestrator runs the script.

to debug, I have performed in a test files:

    Get-module-list | out-file c:\temp\modules.txt

and the new PS module is not listed in the file put out!

I need to reboot servers in folders (or services) to get the new module PS imported successfully?

    Thanks a lot guys.
