Action button on the toolbar of WebHelp (RH 11)

I can't find out what is the problem with the buttons in this skin.  The problem is when the help is opened first, all labels on toolbar buttons display.  However, when you click on a button the thing happening (table of contents displays, or poster of the indexes, etc.) but the button "disappears."  How can I keep the name of the visible button that may have change of color or something to indicate that it is the active?

I've attached screenshots which I hope will help.  If all goes well, they come through with this post.

Any help would be appreciated.

Diane

Hello again

Note that a section regulates the color of the SELECTED button, while the font button governs the UNSELECTED buttons.

I have provided a picture of illustration.

See you soon... Rick

  • RH10. How to make home button on the toolbar and of home in the box "breadcrumbs" link to go to the same location

(I don't know what the problem is with the editor of these days. Only choice is HTML with tags or this editor who suddenly decided to put my text in italics and not let me remove it! He already let me create line breaks. )

I use: RoboHelp WebHelp Pro Single Source Layouts, 10 (albeit without using RoboHelp Server).

I have five SSL, each with their own unique contents. The table of contents for each licensed module includes basic help topics.

    • Basic Help
    • Help for module 1 licensed
    • Help for module 2 license
    • Help for module 3 licensed
    • Help for module 4 licensed

The default theme using base is "Introduction.htm. The default theme of each licensed module is the theme of introduction for this add-on.

In the basis of the help by clicking on the button Home in the toolbar opens "Introduction.htm. By clicking on the Home link in the region of breadcrumbs, for example ""Homepage > Management Data Sources > creating a database ", also opens 'Introduction.htm'."

In a license module, click on the home button in the toolbar opens "Introduction.htm. BUT, by clicking on the Home link in the region of breadcrumbs, for example "Homepage > analysis of the loss, opens the introductory section of the module under license." Our QA group filed a bug against this behavior. They feel that by clicking on the Home button and clicking on the link home takes you to the same place.

All modules use a common window with a display two-pronged and all the WebHelp Pro buttons, including "home (skin: help NGP)" selected.

They also use a common skin. The home button properties are: name of the item and the text = "Home". Links of "Introduction.htm" button, with a dependence on "Release\Core\Introduction.htm".

Is there an easy way to achieve the results expected by the AQ, where clicking on host always opens "Introduction.htm", while authorized opening assistance always opens the introductory topic for the module? DISCLAIMER: I do not know how the script, if it is a possible solution.

    Thank you.

LOL, "all this said, the WebHelp Pro has worked quite well without HR server."

And yet, here you ask about solving a problem, right?

I think you should study serously ordinary passage to WebHelp. So much more than you report problems with the behavior of the toolbar buttons and the behaviour of the breadcrumbs.

The reason is that RoboHelp Server maintains some of this aspect when you publish the content out there. So I'm not surprised to see point out you inconsistent behavior with different "modules". I guess it's an installation "merged"?

  • How to make a favorite button in the toolbar. MSN has a favorite yellow button in the toolbar

I don't see a Favorites button in the toolbar

There is a star as the button next to the search bar on the Navigation toolbar to bookmark the current web page and a "Show bookmarks" button next to it to open bookmarks in a menu drop-down.

You can find "Show all bookmarks" to open the Manager of bookmarks (library) at the top of the drop-down list.

If you bookmark a page and then 'Bookmark this Page' in the bookmarks menu as well as the ToolTip changes star in "Edit this bookmark", and the star is highlighted in blue.

  • Resizing of the buttons on the toolbar disappear after the browser window

When I run my browser all the buttons on the toolbar are in place.

When I resize my browser window to make it smaller, these buttons to collapse to a "arrow":

But when I resize my browser window to make it larger or maximize the browser window, these buttons won't reappear soon whatever I do next.

The only thing that helps is to close the browser and run it again.

Possible causes are extensions that required, information or other content of text in the Navigation toolbar.
You can try to move some of the buttons that are provided by an extension temporarily to a different toolbar to test this.

  • Can I remove the buttons on the toolbar

I would like to delete the news, finance, flicker, Cup and several other buttons on the toolbar. Can I do this?

You can click on bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar and to delete them via the context menu or hide this toolbar completely (Firefox > Options or view > toolbars).

You can open the Customize and drag the button added by extensions out of the toolbar to remove them.

  • Is there a way to create a button for the toolbar that will display a page in "No Style"? ".

  • I can't identify a button on the toolbar.

The button looks like a circle. In the center of the circle is a double arrow pointing to the right. The circle is composed of 4 segments 2 black and 2 red. The button is located on the right side of the toolbar - to the right of the search box. Unlike all other buttons on the toolbar, a ToolTip does not appear when I have point to the button. When you customize the toolbar, I can't move or delete button. Nothing seems to happen when I click it - except that the image of the button changes. When you click on it, it looks like an 'x' was overlaid on the button and colours in the change of button in black and white.

Sorry, I don't recognize it, maybe someone else will.

I just thought of another way you might be able to identify who is seeing that there is no ToolTip that appears in the overview, open mode customize and change the element display in the lower left corner of the palette to icons and text. That show another "title" than would the missing ToolTip (although some add-on developers use the same wording for both).

    2. Choose an option from the submenu (file, editing, comment and so on).
    3. Select the tool you want to add to the toolbar.

  • Export button in the toolbar tasks in Acrobat 9 Pro?

I had Acrobat 8 Professional and most of my work in pdf export in jpeg format. Acrobat 8 had an export button in the toolbar of work that makes a quick-click function to perform an export. I've recently upgraded to Acrobat 9 Pro, and I can't find my task button to export anywhere, or find how to add in the toolbar to work! Now I have to go to file > export > Image > Jpeg for export... which for me is quite annoying, because it's the majority of my work consists of export.

Could someone explain how to restore the export task button in the toolbar tasks, Acrobat 9 Pro? Please don't tell me that option does not exist in version 9. We could think that an upgrade to a newer version would make things more efficient, not less.

Thanks much for any help you can provide.

    J

The taskbar of export has been eliminated in Acrobat 9, but you can easily access the same capacity by using the Save as command. In addition, the ability to process several files has been added in version 9 (file > export > export multiple files) or by selecting multiple files in the menu Save as.
