'Action' message not supported in Web mode

Hi, I use a webview to present the help file for my application. It works perfectly with Android, but on the Playbook, I get an error when trying to follow a link to another local page:

Action not taken in charge

Act intended = android.intent.action.VIEW cat = [android.intent.category.BROWSABLE] dat=file:///android_aset/droidhelp/FAQ.html {extras (a)

Is that what I can do to overcome this problem easily (in addition to all the help on a single page content)?

Your comment helped me to find the problem. I had to add webviewclient to the Web mode:

wb.setWebViewClient (new WebViewClient() {}
@Override
{public boolean shouldOverrideUrlLoading (WebView view, String url)
view.loadUrl (url);
Returns true;
}
});

Thank you.

  • Whats with Vista does not support full screen mode?

    I found that if a program or a game trys to run to (mode full screen) after a few minutes or seconds, Vista it minimizes or restores his window. This occurs in WMP11 and some other games, but not at my Win95 games, such as the 1999 edition of Nascar and my Viper Racing, because it opens, (referring to the 1999 edition of Nascar) I can see the reverse color window open and streach on the screen if you don't see the windows title bar and reduce restore, and close icons. I wonder if I can fix now or wait until Win7 comes out and update. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, on my 3 month old Acer Aspire 4736Z.

    Well, I didn't do anything that you said, and over time he worked on it self. Maybe it was an upadte or something because I do not change a thing.

    You can go to tools > compatibility view settings and you should be able to remove the Web site / uncheck compatibility view so that you won't get this message

  • my XP MESSAGE Mode not supported which shows what that means?

    I have a computer that is restored to nine and use it only for the games... this week I have only this to the screen: MESSAGE

    MODE NOT

    support

    Hello

    Looks like something to configure your PC to try to use a resolution not supported by your monitor. If this is the case it should help you working again.

    First of all, start in safe mode - keep hitting F8 twice a second after turning on the PC until you get the start menu where safe mode is selectable by the up/down arrow keys, and then press ENTER.

    In safe mode, log under an administrator account, then...

    • Click Start
    • Click on run
    • Type devmgmt.msc and press enter
    • Expand the section Dsipaly cards (click on +)
    • Right click list adapters all in turn, then click on uninstall
    • Restart your PC

    During the restart of your PC you should get is no longer 'mode not supported '. Your graphics card must be redetected and drivers installed automatically. If you receive warnings about having not tested properly for Windows device driver, ignore the warning and accept the driver for installation. The items displayed on the screen may appear too large, if that's the case...

    • Right-click and empty part of your desktop and then click Properties
    • Click on the settings tab
    • Move the resolution slider all the way to the right
    • Click OK
