  My apologies if this is a stupid question, but I raise my hands upwards and confess my ignorance (I'm mainly a core Java developer;) OSB/ALSB is the type of sideline for me). That said...
  
  I used the OSB (actually ALSB) on some SOA projects within the last 3 years. on my previous projects, we have mainly only routing actions never used. I am currently working on a 3rd project that also uses the OSB. But on this new project, they mostly never use Service legend actions and publish action.
  
  My question is: what are the criteria to choose between one or the other (routing action or Service legend or publish)?
  
  Whatever the others do not? I have RTFM. But it's not always obvious to me. Please, you can fill in the gaps in my knowledge?

  Routing - routing action can be created within a single node of road and road node is the last node in a processing of the application. A Route node indicates that ask the treatment ends here and response processing will begin. You can have any node after the node of the road in the stream of messages.

  Legend of service - Service legend is used in scenarios of request-response in real-time (for reply sync). If you have a use case where you have to call one or more services request-response in real time (such as synchronization, web services) you can use the action Service legend in the stream of messages. Being a synchronous call, the thread is blocked until a response is returned from the target service.

  Release the Action - action to publish is used for only application scenarios where you do not expect a response back. The target service, that you call will depend on the nature of the action to publish (sync or async). If you call an external service with a service business and then publish the action with the quality of Service (QoS) as 'Best Effort' (default) work as fire and forget and wire gets blocked (asynchronous call). If you call a local proxy (proxy with transport as 'local' Protocol) another proxy by using publish action then it would be a blocking (synchronous) call and thread will be blocked until the local proxy finishes processing.

  I created a BS in OSB, who publishes the message in QA. Its fine as expected in a trial to test console work.
  I did a proxy service that after transformation, will publish the message of this BS, but postback action is not invoke.
  I added newspaper action inside the action of the request of my publish action and build log for this with appropriate query. However, I do not see the message in DB nor I see any exception error / records in OSB.
  
  I tried to replace post with the action of the route and its works fine, message is getting published in QA. One faced this kind of problem before?
  Or post action only works with commercial services of jms based.

  Hi Kiki,

  As long as your BSP interface is unidirectional, publish should work. Can you please add quality of service to exactly - once (inside the action of publication) and see if it returns an exception when you call the service?

  I have problems when I download from the internet, I get an unknown Publisher saying the error message windows, my internet pages show also error on the page, a part of the page is missing or it's full of garbage. This happens only for the last few days, but it is appears on each download, I tried to restore, but it goes back in only 5 days.

  AFAIK, you can disable this Panel-online internet options. Did you check that?

  But my personal opinion is that Firefox would be the best ;)

  1. are you able to install other applications successfully?

  According to my research, this error message appears if you have traces of a previous installation of the AVG software.

  Download the AVG remover to remove the previous version and then try the installation again and check.

• custom action builds without error

  All,

  I am trying to create a custom action where it administers all events/alarms to another server for processing.  First, create a rule that implements the custom action, where the action is supposed to be triggered on every event/alarm.  The custom action will then take the event and move on to another server via a raw socket and made a simple handshake with sha1 base 64.  I welcomed for groovy and java during the construction of the custom action and it builds just fine without error.  However, when I install cartridge and turn on the rule, the server receives nothing and I do not see the log entries.

  Build.XML I had to ad a taskdef to groovyc and add a different path to the jar file.  I enclose my Ant and source files.  Any help to find where I'm wrong well would be apprieciated.  I think that the problem is around the keyword implents and how I created that, but I'm not sure.

  There is a rule of Foglight making snmp with impatience that sends snmp traps to another http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/performance-monitoring/foglight-administrators/w/admins-wiki/5567.event-driven-rules-snmp-forwardserver.  I don't know how your rule is constructed, but the simplest can be copy that snmp before rule, rename it simply to put your action and see if it works. At least the starting point will be a tested rule that works in several sites.

• "Error message when you run the action through droplets ' error: no item of this type.

  Whenever I run an action via a droplet, I receive the error message after the image has been processed "error: no element of this type" on average, it appears 3 times by image and I have to continue to press the return key to get rid of the message.

  The action that the drop is based on works fine within photoshop.

  This drop was working fine until the last update and I have used it for years. I reinstalled Photoshop (CC 2015.1.2) and re-created the action and droplets but still having the same problem.

  The action is very simple change RGB to CMYK, change dpi to 300 DPI and save as a file .psd format

  The original file that I am conversion types .jpg, .png and .tif

  Gout is saved to the desktop and light the processed files in a folder on the desktop.

  You can try to reset Photoshop back to default preferences.

  To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

  If the step above have not, then uninstall the application, restart your machine and reinstall from creative cloud desktop application.

• vRA 6.2.3 - new deployment. No action of published Blueprint?

  Looking for a little help here...

  Had no chance to perform an upgrade of 6.2.1 to 6.2.3 I deployed a new instance.

  This includes a new database on a Cluster SQL 14 AlwaysOn, vRealize identity device 2.2.3.0 (last available OVF.) and the vRealize device Automation (last available OVF.)

  Deploy the 2 devices, a new Windows of 2012 which server is fully patched and running the PowerShell Script to knock out all of the required components. Identity set it up, configure the device Automation, IaaS install on Windows Server all managed.

  I then connect to the tenant default, add a new tenant, storage of identity and directors for the tenant.

  Logout and the new tenant.

  License unit

  Create users with all privileges

  Disconnect you and back in. I now see the Advanced Services (is not serious, but shows that the user has access).

  Create endpoints vRA for vCenter and vRO

  With success, collect data for both.

  Create endpoints vRO to AD and vCenter

  Create a fabric and groups of companies

  Create a network profile, the reservation policy

  Create a reservation, using the reservation policy and the configured network policy, resources are established, including the pool of memory, storage and resources for placement of workloads.

  Create a plan, (7, CentOS), its a plan Clone related to save space in the lab.

  

  

  

  As you can see above what I expect to be able to accomplish on the action plan after you have deployed.

  Creating the service, each item in the catalog and select all Actions? Where are they all?

  

  As you can see there is no more to choose from, but miss me all the actions that have been identified in the action plan.

  I started to create a very simple site (provisional): title of the United Nations and a photo background en Microsoft page.

  After FTP publishing, not of did not appear the image and a message error appears: 'some files on the server are perhaps missing or incorrect. Cirklo the cache of the browser and try again. If the problem persists, contact the creator of the site'

  I changed the password of the FTP without special character and now, the background appears image, but I still got the error message.

  My host tells me that everything is good son side and contact my webmaster... it's me :-(

  Pour the error you had, was because of the spaces in the name your .jpg file that all Web host should normally manage without problems...

• HTML Publishing Error - Captivate 8

  Using Adobe Captivate 8.0.1.242

  We have a lot of projects. All with the same basic format. Try to publish all the swf/html. All were able to post with the exception of one project - one of our smaller projects.

  I removed all the symbols of the file name and cleared the cache.

  The error I get is "Unable to delete folder" with a file extension.

  Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

  Two email addresses should be separated with semicolon (;), try this and see if that solves the problem.

  

  Also, try to disconnect Muse (Help menu-> logout).

  Restart Muse, try to publish again, see if it works.
