activate, already activated on another machine

I had Vista Ultimate installed craftsmanship home machine, then I bought Windows 7 Pro and installed on the same machine, so I have Vista Ultimate on nothing, and then decided to install the ultimate to my laptop at home which had Vista Home. allow me to turn on the laptop, said already active on another machine, BTW this is Vista OEM

If the Ultimate license is OEM, you can not transfer it.

The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

If a license of Vista at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

Standard of the CS6 will not install because it is already activated on both machines. However, crashed by a machine and I can not disable here. Support Adobe says it's a 'technical error', because according to them, there are 4 remaining activations. However their suggestion for a fix was to post here. How can I disable the software on the device crashed?

(Note: this is not Creative Cloud.) This is the product offline.)

I don't have a file number from my chat conversation last night. The other contact took end PMs Twitter last night and this morning.

The good news is that suggested Twitter support team download us the CS6 software on the site rather than use our disks, and who seems to have made a difference. We were able to activate with the downloaded version a bit ago. Not sure why there is a difference between the discs and the download on this issue, but I'm happy to live with this mystery in exchange of software work.

  • How xp can be disabled so that it could be reused and activated in another machine?

    Original title: activating xp

I have xp installed on a pc that is currently being discarded. How xp can be disabled so that it could be reused and activated in another machine?

There is no process to 'disable '. If you have a retail version, you should be able to re - install without problem. If it is an oem version, what you are proposing to do would be not legal.

  • You need to move folio associated application already released to another machine.

    Hello

I need to pass a folio to the machine for a new designer.

The associated application is online on the iOS app store.

What is the best practice for moving the files sources and folio to a new machine, maintainging the opportunity to update our iOS app?

In future versions will you be able to export files in folio, to import? Should this be done on cloud instead?

    Thank you!

    Richie

What version of InDesign are you using? If you the designer of the source use InDesign CS6, simply package files and transfer them. If the designer was using CS5/CS5.5, the person transferring the files needed to package the files and manually add all active overlay that wan't included in the package. When the target designer receives the files, he or she must check the overlays to ensure that they are still targets.

Once the transfer is complete, the new designer should open the folio in the Folio Builder Panel and use the command to recreate a link to create a link to the articles to the new location of the source files. You can learn more about this process here:

  • Problem with Windows XP SP3 - inviting me to activate, already activated.

    Hello world

I recently updated a former Dell PC running a Pentium 4 processor to a new AMD Llano APU. Each component has been replaced except the HARD drive. It is running a version of OEM XP Media edition, SP3.
The first problem is that I kept getting the BSOD because of driver Intel PPM. I disabled in safe mode, and the PC has started to connect. Now I got there, Windows asks to be activated. It has been activated for the years. I tried to do it again by phone anyway, and the automatic answer is that I maybe was the victim of software piracy.
Is it possible to reverse this? I really need to go back - there are essential things to disk.
    Thanks in advance,
    Joe

Microsoft made more than likely you are using a version of XP OEM and you have changed the motherboard.

OEM of Windows versions are not negotiable for new motherboards once they have been installed in the former.

You must purchase a new copy of Windows.

Buy a new hard drive and install a new version of Windows, then plug the old drive as a slave to get the information you need. Or, put the old motherboard in and back up your files.

  • Cannot activate Windows 8 error key is already used by another pc.

    OT: Product key Windows 8.

Hi, so I bought windows 8 pro a year ago and installed on my laptop but I recently bought a new desktop computer and gave my laptop to my sister. She didn't so I put windows 7 on the laptop for her and went to put windows 8 on my windows desktop 8. It installed fine but when I go to activate windows it says that the key is already used by another pc. Why he says this when the computer that I had windows 8 is no longer a windows 8?

You use telephone activation. The database of activation of Microsoft still has your old laptop, saved using the key of Windows 8.

    Windows XP Activation loop.

When I turn on my computer it tells me that I need to activate windows. I click on 'YES' it takes me to the activation page and says that Windows is already activated. All I can do is, click 'OK' and he takes me into a log on screen with my name on it and goes through the same process, as described at the beginning of this statement. I'm in a loop. The only way out is to wipe my hard drive and reload windows new who, within 30 days, it will do no doubt once again. How to do this?
For 3 years I rebooted my computer. That's why I reloaded it in the first place. I sent this version of Windows XP by Microsoft and have recharged the system at least 4 times in the past 10 or 11 years.

  • Cannot connect to Mozilla Support. It does not accept my user name or password. Reset password email says that my account is already activated.

Tried to access the Forums of Support of Mozilla for Firefox Desktop Support, I've used several times. He cannot accept that my user name and password, claiming that they were incorrect. I tried the password reset function, which opened a window saying that accounts created before December 2010 may have connection problems. Reset your password below. It tells me to enter my e-mail address so that it can send me the instructions for setting up a new password. I get my e-mail address. It is said that we have sent an email to any account using this address. Please follow the link in the email to reset your password. I go to my email. Nothing is there. I wait, but still nothing.

I return to the login page and click the link - I do not have a confirmation email - connection issues. A new window opens telling me to activate my account, I have to first of all confirm my email address. I enter my email address. I get an e-mail from Mozilla immediately, telling me that my account is already activated, and it gives me a link to connect. I click on this link. I get my login and my password again. Same error message denying me access and tells me to enter a correct username and password. I try twice with no success. Same mistakes repeated.

So I try to create a NEW account using a different user name my email address. It doesn't let me do. It is said that the email address is already taken, and it does not allow me to proceed. In the end, I had to set up a new account with an email address that I never use, just so that I could access the functions of the help. I'm exasperated. I don't want to post my Questions that I do not use and having to open another application to access even the e-mail address. I want to be able to receive a message from Mozilla in my daily e-mail normal, if someone has replied to my message. But as Mozilla doesn't let me use my e-mail address for the new account, I put in place, I can't do that.

It's very frustrating. Mozilla does allow me access to my original user account that has already been put in place with my preferred email address. And Mozilla will not let me create a new user account with my preferred email address. Now I'm stuck with a new user account which is linked to an email address that I never use and is not easily accessible to me. As a last resort, I access my new user account in the hope that it will allow me to change the email address associated with the account, but of course, this is not an option.

Can someone please help me access my original account with my login and my original password? If a password reset is necessary, then I should not receive an email response telling me that my account is already activated (see below). If it is checked, then why can't connect? What is going on? Please help me. Thank you.

It seems that your account has already been activated.

    Hello

You tell us if you have a sale at retail or OEM System Builders license for Windows 7; only that you have your own license.

It's the General rules on the transfer of Windows licenses

If the computer/laptop comes with the preinstalled Windows operating system (Dell, HP, Acer, etc.) or is licensed to OEM System Builders, that the product key that came with the computer/laptop is preinstalled OEM license and is not transferable.

OEM license/product key (systems of operating pre-installed on Dell, HP, etc.) and the license OEM System Builders are related to the first machine it is installed on and dies when machine who dies.

Only retail Operating System license that you buy and install yourself, are allowed to be transferred to another machine.

And retail licenses also can be installed on a machine at one time.

When you reinstall a retail license, you may need to make a phone Activation.

If it does require phone activation, do not follow Demand of Auto, but brace yourself for a real person explain as to what has been done for purposes of re-setup

  • I've set to upgrade to W8 can I transfer my old W7 license on another machine?

I have a pc 3 for W7 license, but I updated all the machines to W8.  Can I transfer a license to another machine?

3 PC for Windows 7 license usually means that you have the Home Premium 'Family Pack' which is an 'Upgrade' of Windows 7 version.

    (1) If you have used a version of "Downloading" or a boxed version of Windows 8, then you cannot use / transfer the product key of Windows 7 on another computer, as it was the basis for the upgrade to Windows 8.

    (2) If you used a version OEM/System Builders of Windows 8 (which only allows you to perform a "Clean" installation) then Yes you can re - use the product key of Windows 7 on another computer, but he will need to phone activation.
