Activation after the loss of the computer/hard drive
Drive C is dead and I try to turn on CC on a new drive but it cannot disable on the old disk since he died. It is installed on a second computer, too. I have 'kill' two activations since the CC Panel and then turn it back on?

When you connect on the desktop creative cloud on 3 PC application it prompts you to disable previous machines. You can simply select this option and continue. In the case where it does not work please contact Adobe support.

Are you sure that the HARD drive is recognized correctly in the BIOS?
Seems that the laptop does not support the new drive (100 GB, 7200 RPM).Perhaps because of the large size of HARD drive and the fast rotation value.
I would try to use a 60GB 5400 RPM a 80 GB HARD drive maybe works but it seems that the 100 GB HARD drive is not compatible -

I just got this G15 last week and one of the hard drives was bad. Put it in a new Bay 2 and it does not start. I took it back and it starts fine. I even changed the main hard drive Bay 2 HD and it starts up fine with a hard drive. It's something to do with the scores, I think. Any help appreciated.

I think that the boot order has been the bad HARD drive in the BIOS.
At the new disk you do not installed any OS, and in my opinion, this is a reason for starting problems.
Simply access the BIOS and change the boot order -

I have a router E4200 and had loaded on my laptop Connect. My hard drive crashed and needs replacement. I have had no problem signing on my WiFi once I got the new installed hard drive.

Very well. My computer is messed up awhile back and my friend saved my whole hard drive, the files system and everything, then wiped and restored, then ALL put in a folder called "windows.old" that I can access my hard drive. So since he has saved the files system and everything, I'll be able to recover my old files I had deleted before it was erased, if (hopefully) they is not replaced? If so, what filepath can I go in?

Installed the wrong vista on the computer hard drive...
OK so here's... My girls to hard drive on his laptop crashed while I had it replaced the guy told me to reinstall vista (preinstalled) here and we were good to go. I came here and in an emergency I had the wrong bag and installed the software for my laptop. Now, after several weeks he won't let his diary so now I'm trying to reinstall his but there is no start button to follow the directions I've read on here, I also read to put the disc in, and then restart the computer and that it would start but no luck please help...

This copy of windows is not genuine after the replacement hard drive and recovery system
I was running factory installed windows 7 Home premium in my laptop hp pavilion dv6 6119tx. Due to hard drive crash I replaced with new HARD drive. Previously, I did system image backup using easeus todo backup and recovery softeware. After system recovery with the same software, this massage flasehes "this copy of windows is not genuine". Hey guys, lately my HARD drive goes down, during the factory restore. I install a new blank HDD in your computer now. I can see my old HARD drive recovery disk, but cannot get it back.
I have finished the form of recovery disk, but my warranty expired a few months ago as :( I have the product key that came with my cpu, which is window 7 Home premium. You are not sure if Dell will send me a recovery disk, if I have to buy a new window, or if there is some way I can restart the recovery partition?
You can perform a new installation using a .iso from Digital River and the program ABR:

Resync after the new hard drive and battery failure - SOLVED
I have Vista32 and Hotsync Manager 7.0.2 all works very well with my Treo 680.
My son tungsten battery went to zero and I put it on the cradle without data now.
Recently, I replaced my hard drive and have his registered user directory.
When I sync, it does not recognize the user directory that I copied to My Documents/Palm OS Desktop / (username)
When I create a new account it just creates the account and I have to manually reload everything.
How can I easily copy all the old stuff from the tungsten to the computer?
It was the same exact version of HotSync.
I don't use Palm Desktop.
I does not solve the problem but after 2 hours.
(1) I have synced the tungsten, create a new user with empty data.
(2) I then faked a dead battery by doing a hard reset on tungsten.
(3) I then replaced my new data folder empty (under My Documents/Palm OS Desktop /(hotsync name) with my old data from my hard drive to backup folder.
(4) I then did a hotsync, which now had the name of Hotsync to choose and feeling that it was a Virgin tungsten, all the old data has been reinstalled.

After the backup hard drive cloning ARD launch

Recently, I reformatted my hard drive to correct some wacky partitioning I played with and cloned my rear disc of a direct clone of CCC. Also, I recreated my restoration, installation of Boot Camp and installed Windows partition.
Then, I went to launch the Office remotely and received the following error:
As a logical person, I uninstalled the application by following the steps here, reinstalled and restarted... to get the same error.
At this point, I have Google would be a bit and found mention of a permissions issue which was that other people having the same problem. I checked my diary and here, I got the same errors:
The strict solution seems to be to delete this folder and recreate it. First of all, I did this by connecting to the recovery partition and deleting the folder 'C' via the Terminal I didn't so not disable controls system integrity. I even went away so crazy just now as to delete the folder of higher level instead of just the subfolder 'C '. That no longer works. I changed the permissions on the folder to 777. No change. Changed the owner to my user account because he invites him for an administrator account. No change.
I went to the ARD support page and tried to present a real ticket, but it turns out that the ARD is not in the list of software that you can file a ticket on.
I'm out of ideas. No luck, can anyone provide some guidance?
Hi, I have exactly the same problem the first time, I don't have the link with a CCC clone, but this morning (after a clean install because of this problem), I cloned my boot on a new SSD drive and this issue comes up with the clone. I reboot the original disc and ARD works on original, CCC is causing the problem, I made several clones with previous systems without problems, so it's probably a mixture of Capitan/CCC/ARD pure problem.
I left a message of support to the CCC with a reference to your thread.
hope for solution too... for the first time in my life of Apple that a problem needs a new facility...

I had to replace my hard drive of the laptop but when I bought my laptop inititally, he came with a vista installation disc. Can I get a disk of vista without having to buy a new license?

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

Open your Start menu by pressing the Windows key and type FEATURES in the search box. Select 'Windows turn features on or off ". When the Panel opens, expand the category "Media Features" and place a check in the box "Windows Media Center". You may need to restart after Windows reconfigures itself.
