• Text on the Pop Ups is blacked out

  I searched for weeks trying to solve this problem and I have not found any that is worked. I tried to disable the jump lists. I tried to change the registry for a right click on the taskbar. I saw patches of this forum and several others and nothing I found works.

  Recently, I contacted Microsoft to the it Department by phone and said they knew exactly how to fix this and if I have to pay $50 to one of their technicians have to connect to my computer that they would have this problem corrected in the blink of an eye. I find this limit extortion honestly and I hope someone had this problem and can provide steps on fixing it.

  Thank you for your answer, but the answer you provided is for a question that is different from what I was living. Your link has solved a problem with someone who has the taskbar pop up when their mouse/cursor passes over. My problem was to have a drop down of the taskbar appear whenever I type left Alt + 1/2/3/4 etc.

  However, I have since fixed. If there is anyone else out there with this problem, it's a hardware problem with my keyboard. I couldn't get anyone to recreate my problem by pressing left Alt + 1, etc. (although you can recreate my problem to click with the right button on a program in the task bar), so I reset my left Alt key. After resetting my left Alt key this problem does occur more (yay)

As far as I see it, I have activated the accessbility in my preferences and overall my test browsers. When I saw in one of my browsers, accessibility info-bubbles pop up, even though I know that my images have Alt text. Is this problem just in 'Preview' mode, which displays correctly when 'live '?

  38.1.0 TB when it starts, I get multiple pop ups password. This suddenly started happening. I have three different e-mail accounts with one main Gmail.   Hello Vantabus, frequent pop ups could be a sign of adware/malware that is active on your system. Please, try the following steps:

  1. Reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
  2. then go to firefox > addons > extensions and where there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
  3. Finally, run a full scan of your system with security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to ensure that adware is not present in other parts of your system as well.

  Hello, if you get a lot of pop - up unsolicited it may be a sign of activity on your pc of malicious software. Please go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

  5. Link to the FrameMaker book (file > link > FrameMaker Document)
  6. Configure the properties (right click the book HR of the file, and then click Properties).

  In RoboHelp, if you open the pod of glossary (view > pods > glossary > select glossary) you see terms and definitions listed there?

  If this isn't the case, it would explain it as the glossary has no entries.

  Is it possible to make pop-ups (including the text) open and close by a mouseover rather than relying on them that is clicked. My problem is that I only use text, jump - rises in the pages that are already pop-ups and click to close the pop-up text only closed the whole window! My hope is that using a reversal the user will always have the original pop-up page when they move away from the pop - up text only and, in addition, to enlarge the text only pop - up via an overview of mouse as a click is not necessarily intuitive for the user.

  Thanks a lot for the answers. I'll make this post the solution because there is more than one and I can include them here.

  To simplify the ideas contained in the extracts from Peter Grainge - http://www.grainge.org/pages/snippets/snippets.htm - page under the heading ToolTips are to be considered. Basically, store the pop-up message as alternative text for images or in the tag to the text.

  The use of Captivate RoboWizard solution is also a good, but I didn't incorporate swf files into my html code. Did I miss something here Rick? Please elaborate the idea further if I am.

  Leon is more complex and it took me a while to work around. As with complex solutions it offers greater flexibility that the text in the pop-up message to be published can be formatted and images can be included. It uses a little JavaScript of Walter Zorn - http://www.walterzorn.com/tooltip/tooltip_e.htm - to display ToolTips. ToolTips can be kept in another JavaScript file and called by the script of Walter. Is an example of a JavaScript function that can be called by the script of Walter: tooltip() function {return "of Type popup message here and include the HTML as "BOLD"";}. Walter page provides many examples.
