  If you have a data plan adequate of your operator, they should push the settings for your BB without intervention on your part BES or not is not relevant. You can try to re - push all parameters via the following steps:

  (1) registry HRT

  • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

  (2) Service reference books

  (3) restart to take batt

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery.   The good news is it seems to be a solution to this problem.  The bad news is that the problem has existed for several months and BB support doesn't seem to have a solution for this.

  Hope of workaround helps someone in the future.

  Quick question: how critical is SD chip compatibility by device? IOW, there's 8GB chips available on Ebay, so, Amazon. Two different manufacturers, but they look identical. One States that it is for use with the 9630 and the other should be used with the curve. The chip of curve would work?   Recently I seem to get a continuous "Connection" message to BBDTS. Have you tried the following:

  -the latest version of the BBDTS software.

  -restarted the pc (Win7x64)

  -restart the blackberry

  -tried a different usb port

  Nothing has worked. It seems that the blackberry connects to the pc OK

  In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).

  Check also on the incompatible software... it was reported that NTI Shadow Ninja & software can cause a conflict; Remove and reinstall the desktop software BB allows to install correctly.

  My apologies in advance if this is redundant - there is no way to be sure that if you have already seen and tried these. Also apologies if all are not currently available... RIM takes their monte and descends at will as they revise things.

  How do I set up my default BlackBerry for Wi - Fi connections, rather than the AT & T network, where a Wi - Fi connection is available?

  Your default BlackBerry automatically a Wi - Fi connection if such a connection is present and is strong enough.  As long as your Wi - Fi connection is enabled, data will travel through it.  The only way to ensure that no data continues to use the Wi - Fi is turn off once you have finished with it.

  I have a Volvo V70 ("nine") 2013 and want to connect my BlackBerry Bold 9900 (os version 7.1.0) using BlueTooth.

  The car does not recognise the BB.

  If I turn the car in "Discover fashion" and on my BB begins to search for a BlueTooth device, it does not find 'My car Volvo' and it allows me to listen to music. However, if I select "Search for phone ' fromout the car, it does not find my BB (BB, BlueTooth = ON / detectable = WE).

  According to the dealer, Volvo has done successfully test the BB with OS 7.0.0 9900.

  The trader has also improved the software in my car ==> stil does not work.

  Someone knows how to fix this?

  The other option would be to downgrade my BB with OS version 7.0.0, but I do not know if that this will solve the problem.

  FYI: Also my BB 9900 has been tested with a brand new Volvo V70 2014 model ==> does not work either. Same question.

  I solved the problem myself, using the information in the following link:

  The last post in this link shows what to do. I did this on my BB and was able to connect now successfully my BB to the Volvo V70. I had to redo the matching 3 - 4 times, but then it worked.

  I have files of media for the transfer of problems from my mac for the blackberry pearl 8100. I have followed the steps and went in the media file selected 'receive via bluetooth' and is went to the mac and selected the media file, I want to send. The screen open on the mac in waiting to connect, I select Save device ringtones, get, forward the message on both devices doesn't have. I did all the steps on the support but nothing works. Both devices are paired I can send files from the blackberry for the mac, but I can't receive all multimedia files. I sent pictures of the Mac to blackberry and it worked fine.
