  I'm running a server KMS on Windows server 2012 R2 and I have enabled more than 300 PC and servers.

  But for some reason, can no longer trigger the new PCs and servers. They get 0xc004c008 the activation server determined that the specified product key cannot be used.

  Nothing has changed on the KMS server and I do not see where the KMS host key could be used outside of the host itself.

  Since you have already activated this product key, the server displays the key as being in use. Simply call the Activation Center and activate manually settle.

  1. press the Windows Logo key + R. This will bring up the run dialog box.

  2. in the Open: box, type slui 4 and press OK. This starts the manual activation wizard.

  3 select your country from the drop down and click Next.

  4. the wizard displays a toll-free telephone number. Leave the wizard open on the computer and call this phone number.

  You will receive a few saved options. Select the option to speak to a representative.

  The representative will manually activate this system for you.

  Make sure that your Camera Raw is updated: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html

  It might be possible that you get this error because of activation problem if you receive the sign in the prompt on every launch of Photoshop.

  Launch Photoshop and verify that you are connected by selecting 'buy this software' and then go to file > Browse in Bridge and try to open any image in Camera Raw.

  I read support articles in all directions into the wee hours of the morning to try to help out myself, and I have not found any that is worked.   I tried to uninstall all applications that were initially drafted by the trial, and then the fresh install from the .dmg I made the drive, which I can't find since we moved. Dmg Installer accepted my series and continued his merry way writing of new instances of the applications I've selected. When I try to start one of the applications that are newly installed; however, I invite me again for my series. I enter the same serial number that I have provided the installer, but I get the error is not valid-for-this-product.

  I have the following configuration:

  • Existing Cluster_A with ESX 3 hosts running on the processor Intel Xeon E5540 (Nahelem)
  • 30 VM runs in a production environment
  • 2 new ESX hosts running on the processor Intel Xeon E5649 (Westmere)

  2 new guests are not added in vCenter again, but the goal is to allow the addition of these 2 new hosts in Cluster_A.

  I understand that, in order to have all 5 hosts in the same cluster, EVC mode must be activated with the highest level being "Nahelem" (lowest common denominator).

  From a theoretical point of view, masking any CPU to apply will be identical to the current CPU presented the virtual running machines, settings allowing CVS using the same architecture CPU should not cause conflict or problem.

  Therefore, I would ask you confimation that activation VCA and Nahelem for Cluster_A upgrade will not cause downtime or impact (e.g. BSOD) to the virtual machines.

  Is 100% safe operation (done many, many times the performance of clusters). No side effects :-)

  1. create a TEST VM
  2. Add the new server ESX to vCenter
  3. put in maintenace mode
  4. Add to the cluster
  5. allow to LCA
  6. exit maintenance ESX
  7. try to vMotion between the old and the new node in a cluster
  8. If vMotion won't work, says André, you should turn off the virtual machine and run it.

  In this thread Jason comments that when the HT is enabled he saw much better performance of virtual machines on this host, we have, I think I've also seen elsewhere.  We saw a clear improvement of the performance of our Oracle server when its on a host that has enabled HT, so much so that we have now disabled for this virtual machine DRS, so that it doesn't move off them.

  The specification of hosts within our farm are essentially the same, and new hosts with HT could actually could be called lower spec than our other guests so its interesting, it makes such a difference.

I have a little stand alone ESX hosts with a single Quad Core Nehalem processor for applications Oracle and performance is very good.

  Well, maybe...

  I agree with this, if you use the other stuff on the same machine as Openfiler, but if you have dedicated a machine serving via Openfiler iSCSI volumes, then you should get pretty good performance - perhaps even comparable to "material" iSCSI implementations  I have a PE2800 with a single processor and 4 GB of RAM which is my Openfiler iSCSI SAN/NAS head.  The performance is very good - is perhaps not as good as some of the commercial solutions, but works very well.

  The product key that is embedded in the BIOS may not work with the version of Windows 8 Pro.

  Here is a document HP-HP System Recovery troubleshooting (Windows 8) computers you can review. It can help restore the system from the recovery disks.

  If you need to get the recovery media:

  HP computers - get HP recovery disks or HP USB recovery disc

  I have a toshiba laptop and due to a problem, I had to do a repair. I didn't have the original CD so I performed a repair using CD Dell since my friend had. Now, when the repair is made I get a prompt "this copy of windows is not enabled" when I tried to activate the copy by putting in the key I got Toshiba you receive an "invalid product key" error

  Is there a way to activate this copy with my old toshiba key?

  What are some of the other options I have available?
