  I try to open an Excel ActiveX reference but can't. I'm using LabVIEW, 2012 and 2013 Excel.

  I placed an open VI of automation on the block diagram and created the refnum of entry control. When I click on select class ActiveX control (see below), the only available Excel-related option is the ExcelTDM plugin that I use to watch the TDMS files in Excel. I am relatively new to ActiveX, so I don't know what is the problem here. Is there anyone experiencing problems of compatibility with Office 2013 and LabVIEW? Or is the wrong approach?

  Hi, I use an ActiveX library of motion ABB to interface with one of their drivers in LabVIEW. However, I get an error when you call a method of installation of the library which reads: "error 66 has been held at the Exception occurred in MintControls5822: feature not available in activex_basic_test.vi [...]» The network connection was closed by peer. " I'm not using the TCP/IP Protocol, so it is something you know with communication of ActiveX that could cause this kind of problem? Or is it a software problem that I need to contact ABB comments?

  For reference, I use the method described in Section 6.4 of the www.q-tech.hu/pdf/Baldor/MintMT%20PC%20Programming%20Guide.pdf to test my setup.

• Some features of Windows are not available.

  I have an IdeaPad p580 and I noticed that a few basic functionality of windows are not available. I use Windows 7 Home premium SP1 and everything else is usually straight out of the box. I guess these are the basic features of windows because I learn about them in an intro to the class of Windows operating system.

  When I try to use secpol.msc in the start menu, windows cannot find it, and also when I try to encrypt a file or a file this option is grayed out. I think Veriface is the encrypt function creep, or another software that is preinstalled is to play with things.

  No idea as to what could be the cause? Is my book misleading me, I may get to such a different way?

• Class not found exception after adding a new image in the folder resources.

  The app works perfectly well on the Simulator and the device. After adding a new set of images, he began to show in every race, on the Simulator and the device, a class not found exception.

  I would recommend that you download these kinds of resources and put them on the SD card if you take a storage capacity that users will want to keep available for email and others.

  To allow a package to your application during execution OEP, you will need to add it to the application MANIFEST. MF file for the Import Package section (since the OEP server is based on OSGi). There is no need to provide a version number, you can simply enter the name of the package (for example)

  I think I found it.  11.2 Solaris dislikes apparently the model and the progression of your CPU Avoton.  If I change the model and execution of my Haswell system to match your Avoton, I lost also for areas of kernel comments in my Solaris 11.2 customers.

  Try these configuration options:

  featMask.vm.cpuid.MODEL = Val: 0x3c

  featMask.vm.cpuid.STEPPING = Val: 0 x 3

  That will give the impression that you have a processor Haswell (at least to the extent where the model and progression are concerned).

  You use the vim2 or vim25 dll in your project? The redInterval and yellowInterval properties have been introduced in the version of vSphere 4.0 API and corresponding stubs will be unavailable in the vim2 DLL. You use the vim25 dll in your program to gain access to these properties.

  There is no option in the context menu of your pot.
  But if you create a shortcut pointing to java.exe or javaw.exe and have "-jar PathToMyJar.jar" as parameters.
  you will get the option "Run as Administrator" from the context menu. Also in the properties-> shortcut-> advanced, you can configure it to always ask for elevation.

  Now, this may seem messy for a user, but an installer can do all this for you.

  The function doSharedObject is called without a problem. I wrote 3 tracing instructions just to confirm if the compiler traverses the lines... and indeed they are printed out, so I don't know why the 'sendmsg(2)' function is not called. Hope someone can advise me. Thank you.

  the button on your scene and the button, you create in this class are two separate objects (with the same reference).  This is not going to work.

  Remove the button creation code in your class, and if this class is available to your main timeline, add your listener and everything will work.  If it is not in the same scope, you have work to do.

  Is the class of events SwitchToMonitor really just in case, package in the src/event/folder of your project?
