• Active content of a site Web works well in IE8, but not in Firefox 29.

  I am accessing a Web site with active content, http://www.chezmaya.com/applet/squelette.htm . In IE8, it plays music and displays a number of dance that can be moved around with the mouse pointer. In Firefox 29.0.1, on the same machine, it displays the background image and an animated gif image shows a little action. But the figure of interactive dance and music are missing. In IE8 I don't have this URL in any kind of list of trusted sites, so apparently it works by default.

  Just in case it has nothing to do with Java, note that I installed the latest version of Java in the last days for unrelated reasons, and it seems to work very well.

  This page has been coded for Internet Explorer and uses non-standard features such as the window.event object. Somehow, it's understandable: when the script on the page was written in August 2004, Firefox was at version 0.9.3 and IE has a market share of 90% or more.

  I'm sure you can find many great pages, which the authors have never updated to make them work in other browsers. It's a shame, but most people still experience of IE, so...

• Can I hide a book or entry in the table of contents, based on a parameter?

  Hi all. I am currently using RH 11.  Is there a way in which I can hide a book or entry in the table of contents, based on a parameter passed in the URL?

  Rh10 introduced dynamic content to the user, otherwise known as categories of content-centric. In an SSL, you can create different outputs. The idea is that aid is open with a drop down menu where the user can select a category. If you look in the output folder, there is a folder for each category and you can open this assistance to a specific category. However, the user can then select other categories.

  The method is described in the HR visit to my site and the projects in the sample have a SSL showing the method.

  To open a specific category, point you to the start page for the category, the name of the category. So the TypeA category can be open from TypeA.htm.

• Display content based on Login

  I know that we can display content based on whether Yes or no someone is connected or not using {module_isloggedin}. However is it possible to display content based on secure member area is subscribed to?

  IE:

  If a user is logged and a member of Secure Zone 1 content display.

  If a user is logged and a member of the Secure Zone 2 display content B.

  etc.

  I know that it was not possible at some point and I'm not aware of this change. If it has changed? If not, are there plans to implement such a feature?

  For now, you can't even list the secured area, the user is connected, but you can try this workaround:

  -tell the user can choose between 2 secure areas to log in

  -each secure area has its own landing page

  -create a landing page empty for each secure areas, we will use these proxies

  Once the user enters their credentials, it is redirected to the page of empty destination. On this page, insert 2 pieces of javascript:

  -another one that sets a cookie so that you know how secure area, the user is logged in

  -one that redirects the user to the "Members" page only

  From the point of view of the user simply insert the credentials, login and be redirected to the members only page. The difference is that using proxy pages, you have a way to set a cookie allows you to determine what secure area, the user is logged off and customize the appearance of the page on this basis.

• Help: Confused problem with active content update

  The 2nd page (along with a few others on the site) gives me the error message:

  It seems even to ignore the style sheet type.
  
  I can't understand this thing. I saw the source of many times. Any ideas? I applied the update active content in the past with great success. In Internet Explorer the site works very well. In Firefox, some pages gives this error. It's confusing.

  FIX FIREFOX FOR USERS OF VS.NET 2005:

  This problem occurs when you use Visual Studio 2005 as editor-in-Chief.

  I copied thepart of a page that worked and stuck in the wrong page. When you save the file in the VS Editor, it gives me this message:

  However, I can't the swf to be centered in the browser. I can get it left and right, but no Center.

• Incorrect paths for active content after the update of the models

  When I apply a new model with a page in Dreamweaver CS3 all links updated correctly with the exception of any content active. The paths of active content (files .swf) point to the correct locations. The paths to the files remain the same, as if they were always pointing towards the model. All other links and paths are updated properly (images, links), but not the Flash. Everyone heard talk of this problem/bug? I just can't understand why it's happening.
  I must add, however, when you open a new document from the template links ARE correct. Only when the application of the template to a page, or when I update the model and update the pages associated with it that happens. Am I missing something?

• ACS authentication with Active Directory based on ad groups

  I'm trying to integrate Cisco ACS 5.4.0.46 with AD and I connected successfully GBA to AD and I used as a successful AD authentication for network devices but my problem now is that anyone with an AD account can connect to network devices that compromises security. I created a group in AD that I would use and I added the group under users and identity stores > external identity stores > Active Directory > groups directory. I also chose source of identity for Default Device Admin as AD1 and under the authorization, an authorization policy that uses a compound condition that uses AD1 and the custom group. However after you have set all that I am still able to connect to the switch with a user not in the custom group. Based on what I have explained to you can someone tell me if Miss me a step?

  Thanks for the update and the fence wire. Set default default rules to deny access when user legimitate if does not match a rule set by the administration of the CSA he should get denied access. In your case, it has been updated a permit so that both type of users access (members and non-members of ad groups).

  The best way to resolve these issues is to look at the monitoring and troubleshooting > attempt user > magnifying glass. You will see how this user has been allowed access.

  apandya Yes you can. You can download the static and dynamic content by launching the REST API calls. See below for an example doc.

• Integrating Wordpress in need of Muse dynamic height with cross domain content-based

  Given that Muse does currently not support articles and Wordpress integration I decided to use an iFrame.

  My goal is to have the height of the iframe dynamic change based on the content of my Wordpress blog. I understand that this is a common problem with frames that are hosted on different domains.

  I'm running by having more to compensate with a bunch of deadspace to leave enough room. You can also get the horrible scrolling to the search bar.

  I tried using cross-site scripting, JQuery, and postMessage but can't find out how to put the right code in Muse and Wordpress for them to communicate in either sense.

  Apparently, you try to insert the iframe to another area and because of the "Same origin" security policy, you are not authorized to access the document property of the iframe object. This will not happen if the inserted iframe is on the same domain.

• PHP - include content based on a page variable

  I have a slight / and probably not so difficult) problem.
  
  I have the index page that has content < div > < / div > area which shows included files as items etc Nothing unusual in that nope. On the side, there is a sidebar submenu < div > < / div > showing different things depending on whether you are connected etc. The question is how to display the side bars cover based on the current index shown in the content area.
  
  For example, I do not wish to display the new tab in the sidebar with any other pages of the default folder include "welcome.php" to the index.php.
  
  So should which way variable I set to file content unwanted on some pages?
  
  Currently, I tried making it variable like $include_in_sidebar which is set to true on the content pages where I want to be 'the' option shown in the sidebar, and then inside if the statement inserted in the side bar around the specific part code I would like to have shown.   OK... it was actually pretty easy. How did I not understand before. I just applied show if region of the part, I wanted to make it visible only on certain pages and made the condition to search page include namevariables which should match the State... as - if (@$ _GET ['page'] == 'xxx') {}...

  Feeling a little shame now, as I wandered through various places to learn this insignificant thing. The original question was probably too easy, so no one bothered answer: d... need to study more PHP manuals...

  So more and more I look at the role of curation of content as an important skill to emerge.  With so many sources of information I gravitate to places/people that will help cut through the clutter of the reliable recommendations.  I feel like a good example of this is photo.  I feel like it came out of nowhere, but is now a source of information for me, even if they are not the original source of all there.  I am much more likely to click on something from them than others because she constantly lives up to the promise of a story very interesting and consumable.  In my view, it must always be according to the preponderance of the created, curated, and content to ensure balanced user generated.  Your audience will have different types through different stages of their life cycle.

  First, your comparison operator is pointing the wrong way. If A is more recent than B, then it is greater than B, no less.

  Other that that, we do not have enough information to see the problem. You can provide more explanation and code.

  This is the right way to store dates in the database, and they must be stored using the date data type.

  You can add the code javascript for detection of the location, then add subdomains for different countries. This is possible thanks to the end of accommodation.
