cancellation of the print queue

Each print request goes directly to the queue, cancelling all request printing used to solve the problem, but now it won't print at all. I went through all the procedures of mutual aid without result. I see no solution in response messages either. Arrived on a person must have the answer to this problem many of us have some.

It seems that you have a problem with documents stuck in print queue and Printer Spooler.

You can try a few steps. It would be to run the doctor print and scan. Here's a link to it.

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03275041

Another suggestion would be to STOP and RESTART your printer spooler.

1. click on START MENU

2 right CLICK on COMPUTER

3. choose MANAGE

4. select Services and Applications. Click on Services

5 get off until Printer Spooler. Stop and restart.

Let me know what is happening and if that helps.

  • Documents in the print queue will not cancel or print

I tried all the usual cancel, delete, turn off the PC, turn the printer off, turn them both off the coast of all etc.

Do or not.  There is no test.

These directions will not work with Windows XP, but it's the right idea.

She also leaves a file .cmd lingering somewhere on your system.

I propose the following technique that works for all versions of Windows and will not let any .cmd persistent or other files on your system:

First to clear the print queue, you have to stop the print spooler service, and then remove all the jobs/print files pending.

You cannot delete all print jobs in queue so that the Print Spooler Service is running, so you have to stop first.

To stop the Print Spooler Service, click Start, run and enter in the box:

    services.msc

Click OK to open the Services Applet.

Locate the Print Spooler Service, right click and choose 'Properties' and then click on the "Stop" button to stop the Print Spooler Service is running.

The option "Startup Type" of Service properties print spooler is usually set to "Automatic" (which is now a good time to check it out).

If the "Startup type" is not set to "Automatic", set the "Startup Type" field to "Automatic" If that is your desire (which now is the time to check it out).

Do not try to start or restart the Print Spooler Service again...

Next. remove all updates pending upward and forward to printing from XP.  If they do not print before, you will need to send them to the printer again once things are cleaned in service yet.

Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS

Delete all the print jobs in queue (select and delete all the files) in the folder if the folder is without waiting for print jobs.  The folder must be empty when you are finished.

Reboot your system and check the Print Spooler Service again to make sure the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically restart (given that the startup type is set to automatic).

After the reboot, check again the spooler service for printing and the 'Status' column for the print spooler must be read "started."

Submit new failure of print jobs.

  • move the print queue to another printer

I had not realized that I had not deleted an old printer that I did more.   By chance, something began to try

to print on the old printer... is it possible to move from this queue and on another printer?

I try not to have to remove the characters and cannot cancel the printer and delete it because it's

I try to print so that it will not cancel or delete.   There should be a fairly easy way to simply move the print queue

to another printer... It shouldn't be this hard... Thank you.

The computer restarts or stop the spooler service in the services menu and then restarting it will remove the tasks in the queue. It isn't a way that I am aware of transfer a task in queue to another printer.

  • Documents get stuck in the printer queue and I have to restart so that they print

often, when I try to print a document or web page, or anything, the document will get stuck in the queue for the printer.  the printer will tell me 1 post pending but nothing prints.  I have to restart my computer to print the document.

No answers so I'll try to help. I don't have a printer for many years. A practical tool, I used to use repeatedly put my printer icon on my desktop or in the taskbar. Try it! Go to Control Panel, open Printers and faxes, right click on your printer and choose Create shortcut and click Yes. Once on your desktop then drag it to the taskbar when you have a page open it will be more accessible. Open it and click on the printer and click Cancel all documents. From what I remember when the print queue of the printer is over load it won't print and clicking on cancel all documents throws to the queue. Check the menu options to set your preferences. I hope this helps!

  • Document stuck in the print queue?

I have a HP Deskjet 3055 A printer that I bought last year. Apart from the fact that it is supposed to work wireless and is THEREFORE not (grrr), it was OK. However, two days ago it stopped printing even if it is connected via USB. In looking at the print queue, it seems that a document my daughter wanted to print to work at home is still sitting there--I tried to cancel but the * beep * thing is just wrong and I think it caused a complete shutdown. I tried to unplug, re - connect, restart the pc, pick up the printer and shaking through, printer dangling out the window on his own body and shouting death threats and finally to chew my own arm out of rage, but so far nothing has worked. Does anyone have any ideas or experiences that can help? I would be very grateful.

    Hello

From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

Restart the computer and you should find that the document has been deleted.

    Kind regards

  • Files to send to the printer remains in the print queue

My printer Brother HL-5470DW many years and has worked well as recently as a couple of days. Now start yesterday, everything I send to it (I've tried so far to print from Word, Notepad and Adobe Reader) just sits there in the print queue. (Also, I hear no sound, as if no communication to the printer took place; "I think that I do not usually such a sound, as if the printer wakes just.)

It has always been possible to click Cancel for work out of the queue (which is what I do to ensure that each test is not blocked by the one who joined the queue before him). But by clicking on restart has not led to a change. No sound. Nothing, as if I had not clicked on it at all.

I restarted the computer and that did not help. By turning the printer off and on again did not help either. The other printer on my network works, so the problem is specific to this printer. This printer is networked, too, but the network seems to recognize since, when I pull the ethernet cord our back, my computer seems to usually two tones you hear when you unplug a USB device as an external drive, and you hear the other standard two-tone when you plug the power cord back in - even ethernet once the same two-tone means when you plug a USB device.

Troubleshooting Windows app recognizes a problem, presenting little yellow triangle used with an exclamation mark inside), but can't find anything wrong, despite the announcement of a great many things he checked with the result "there is no Question."

This must be a common problem? But I have found no solution so far.

I also opened a trouble with the brother society report on this subject, but they have not responded.

    Thanks for your help.

I suddenly remembered that I have an account with Geek Squad which entitles to support me on their part so I called them, and the problem is now resolved. As a public service to anyone who is interested, I will present a report which re-start the computer, turning the printer then next turn, and re - installing the printer driver did not help (even if by turning the printer and turn it back on (that is, unplug and plug again at least there the message in the window of the printer to 'Pause' in 'Ready').)

After these changes, we have reached at least point jobs were sent to the printer (they were no longer in the print queue), but when they got to the printer the results was simply that 'Data' and 'Error' lights came.

Finally, something else has been tried: taking the paper out of the feeder and everything put back in. There is no reason that I see why this would work, but now all of a sudden he made. He had been without paper jams in this printer for months and months so that should have nothing to do with it!

Although I don't see the connection, the tech support guy said that it had to do with the configuration of the printer port. And that fits at least with the fact that it is a new computer. According to that is the fact that - once we have solved the problem on this new computer - the old computer could no longer print: actually there now have exactly the same problem the new computer was seen: files sent to the printer simply remain in the print queue.

If someone saw to offer as to how something so strange by removing the paper and put it back could solve that problem, I would like to know about it. Is there a way that this incident can be changed to a question in a discussion?

Can anyone enlighten me as to what type of configuration of ports is involved and how you achieved it?

  • HP Envy 4500: Print jobs disappear from the print queue and not print (Windows 7).

I just bought a HP Envy 4500 printer,

When you attempt to print from a PC with windows 7 OS home pro (64-bit), the print job appears in the queue and then disappears, but the printer does not print anything.

Everything else seems to work very well know

    • The printer prints the internal test page
    • The printer does print when you use iPad2
    • The printer does print when you use ePrint
    • The PC recognizes and communicates with the printer (tried with USB connections and wireless)
    • Analysis feature works very well - when initiated from the PC and printer

    I tried

    • uninstalling and reinstalling the software (several times using software from different sources)
    • restart the printer queue service
    • Disabling the firewall
    • running printing HP and doctor Scan
    • following the instructions described here (the question is the same but the different operating system):

Print jobs disappear from the print queue and print (Windows 8)

    • combinations of all of the above

Absolutely no joy in any of them, and in spite of more than 2 hours of research on Google and forums search I can't find a solution.

HP... can you give me a solution or is that goes back to the shop?

Well I finally worked on the fix myself by trial and error.  I changed the security settings for 'All' and 'Creator owner' to 'Print' and "Administer Documents".  Why on earth they were not automatically allowed as part of the installation, I couldn't really say.

Hope this helps someone else with a similar problem.
