• 11 "Green Media" Bug - first elements all help?

  Hey everyone, I am having trouble with the first elements 11. Whenever I have add data to this project, he bugs and the entire video becomes green.

  The video itself is not the problem, as I have tried with other videos. This just started to happen, it was fine before. I use Windows 10. I tried to restart the program to see if it would be fixed, but not luck. Any help would be appreciated.

  Thanks for the follow up with important details of troubleshooting.

  NVIDIA Shadow Play catches have had problems in the past with Premiere Elements. I realize you are facing at a before and after the situation. But I suspect that this is independent of the operating system and version of Premiere Elements. But the answer will be in the details.

  Think about download and install handbrake to get the H.264.mp4 @ version rate constant frame and then import this file in first 11 elements. Is the missing issue or?

  Premiere Elements does not do well with the video recorded with a variable rate. The symptoms are out of sync audio to not be able to import the file at all.

  Please confirm... are the current green imports into Premiere Elements of today project the same real files who worked before the 10th of Windows?

  I found a work around for this problem after reading several other post with similar situations, my project has 5 scenes (and 5 stage markers) for the menu buttons and I initially stop 5 markers at roughly the same place in the project. It appears as if these two markers are too narrow and an attempt to burn comes up with the error. So I added a black frame 10 sec still between scenes to separate the markers. After you save the project in this way the burn worked. I'm sure that Adobe has known this problem, but also of other major issues with this program, but has not fixed or communicated these issues to their customers.

  Thanks for the update.

  Please consider the following using an alternative solution to move the clips.

  Select/highlight the clip on the workspace Expert chronology. You hold the ALT of the main keyboard to the computer, press the right or left arrow button once.

  Under this condition, a single tap = 1 image movement. And please look at Shift + Alt once to listen to the right or left arrow key. Under this condition, a single tap = 5 images.

  I have a PAL - jvc everio camcorder. I copied the files from the camcorder to my computer. My computer is running Vista SP1 with 2 GB of ram.

  The files appear to be imported into PElements 4 However when playing or rendered clips I get an error first elements.exe adobe has stopped working.

  I noticed that the clips have green pixels appear at the place where the PE crashes.  All the clips seem to have this problem.

  I followed the suggestions of the basis of knowledge re: update codecs, disabling startup items, updated video driver.

  I don't have the cyberlink software provided with the jvc. I bought elements of first as I had read that he would be able to read jvc files.

  Someone at - it any other suggestions?

  I think I solved this problem.

  I have a number of external USB connected, for example, hard drives, webcams, mouse, keyboard etc., devices so I unplugged individual devices until I found that the Error 1014 is more appeared when adding media.  I plugged the other USB devices back in but kept the last disconnected device and can now add media from my miniDV via firewire.

  I don't think we can let off the hook here PE11, since I had no problems with USB so far and each capture freeware program that I tried did not have a video capture problem I had plugged in any USB device.

• When you try to add a .wmv media file, first just sits there, not locked but no progress

  I am in the 30 day free trial of Adobe Premiere Elements. I have a large collection of .wmv files and for me to buy Adobe Premiere Elements, I need to know I can import these files.  They are listed as supported, but whenever I try to import a (Via add multimedia files), the first is the screen that says «Add media...» "but no progress at all on the progress bar.  I even left for 1 hour just to see if it was incredibly slow, but no progress. I get no error and it's not hard locked but if I click anywhere else on the screen it says "program does not.  I am on Windows 7 on a PC.

  What happens if these .wmv files are imported in first 13 project items using add media/files and folders from the Local C drive instead of what you describe in your internal network?

  That the program creates these wmv files? Specifically, what is the video compression? These files are converted between the device registration and import into Premiere Elements project?

  I used first Elements 7 successfully for some time. I recently got a new Windows 7 laptop and loaded PREL 7 on it. When I start a new project in the ORGANIZATION section, when I go to add multimedia elements, I select as I did before a .mp4 file but after a short while I get an error message saying "this file type is not supported, or the required codec is not installed".  I have the latest version of Quicktime installed, but I am now lost to learn how to get on it. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

  It is very likely that your new computer doesn't have a CODEC, one did. In the case of H.264, here are three of the most popular: Apple, MainConcept and lead. With later versions of Apple's QT, their H.264 player must be installed. Many users have found that they get the best results of lead or MainConcept, but it's generally export.

  If you have a recent version of the QT player, I uninstall and then re-install, because it may well be that the H.264 CODEC is not correctly installed. Or we could download and install the cable, or the version of MainConcept.

• Studio 1735 and Adobe first Elements - error CODEC Audio IDT high definition

  Receive the error code in Adobe first Elements on my Studio 1735 trying to read the video capture.  Error is FFA-8-000 D; also says "failed to read.  The audio system does not appear to meet.  Maybe the card does not support full duplex mode.

  Any ideas or suggestions?  My sound card does not "full duplex"?  And if not, should I all options to update so it will be?

  Which operating system do you use first 11 elements? For now, I'll assume Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64bits.

  1. delete the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file and, if it does not, remove the whole 11.0 folder in which the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file exists.

  and in the 11.0 folder is the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file that you delete. If this does not work, you delete the together 11.0 folder in which the file Adobe Premiere exist. Don't forget to work with folder Option show hidden files, folders and disks active so that you can see the full quoted path.

  2 uninstall/reinstall according to the following specific

  a. disable the program in an open with Menu on/off project help

  b. uninstall the program in the usual way of Control Panel

  c. a free ccleaner Cross (parts regular cleaner and registry cleaner) to get rid of remnants of incomplete uninstalls reinstalls

  d. Resinstall with antivirus and firewall disabled
