Add a new user administrative "local."

I have windows vista Business 64 bit. I would like to add a user LOCAL (domain = "this computer").

I when in "Control Panel"-> "Accounts"-> "Manage user accounts"-> (I can see the list of users) "Add...". »

Then I enter the user name: "UserTest" and field "ComputerName" and then I got an error:

"UserTest user cannot be added because there is no '.

    Hey Warren,

    You should communicate with a person with security privileges to grant you access to adding/changing user tide

    Once granted, you should then be able to add users - start clicking on the box with the Green more on top to add a new user.

    User/group name = user/group name

    Full name = family name, first name

    Domain = AD, empty if Unix, or domain name

    Then select security policy: Super users, Runtime user only or other

    Users of runtime tab to specify which TIME users access the user/group, the agent tab to specify which users DURATION agent has access. Another tab allows you to specify the telephone number, electronic address of the group/user. If the runtime user needs to connect to a Windows agent, then the windows / FTP password field must be filled in the password tab. And if the runtime user needs to connect to a Unix agent, then the password fields can be left white.

I have enough licenses available and was able to add more users later without error.  I have 3 email address that returns this error message.  I tried to add each several times that produced the error message every time.  Connected out of the session and back on and the error message every time.

    It is likely that these e-mail addresses already exist in the eSign environment and you are not allowed to add these emails.

    Recently, we migrated to version 11. When you try to add a new user in maintenance by the user, a dialog box appears and prompts you for the user name. However, the next box "Username" is an empty combo box and takes no inputs. When click OK, the message "" error: Please select a username! "was received."

    FDM in version 11 uses shared Services for the provisioning of users. You only assign locations within the maintenance by the user. When a user is supplied with shared services for the application of FDM, on which they will then appear in the drop-down list box when you click adds a new user.

    The problem is probably damaged the ADMIN account, you were when you created the user account.

    Log on as an ADMINISTRATOR or use the HAA below and REMOVE the user account that you created. Then move forward
    as if your ADMIN account (the one you used to make this account user) has been corrupted. Once you are sure

    then go back and reset it to the Admin APPLY/OK - this clearly allows corruption. Do this several times. Do the
    same for other accounts that may be difficult. Then if necessary you can also reset your password

    Make another Admin account with your password and use it to fix the others if necessary. (just for

    We use CUCM for provisioning where as far as I know, all users, except admin, should be configured manually to form endpoints.

    Would it not possible to supply new users through endpoints TC6.2 CLI. Currently we are able to add users only via the Web interface in "Configuration > User Administration > add a new user...". ».

    I crossed Administrator's guide and the guide to the API and found nothing on this subject. Can someone help me?

    Currently, it is not possible to create the users of TC endpoints from the web interface. Cisco has even removed the 'adduser' from the root so CLI command. So it's really not possible.

    If you really need to add users from the web interface, I suggest you to raise a feature request.  =)

    Yes, the user created this way can not access the CLI but will have access to the API. Currently, you can have a user who has access to the Internet but not CLI. This must go as a feature request.

    Also I would like to save the vcs using cli and by running the command 'xconfig' is not the recommended way to backup, because it doesn't actually do a save as local CERT, provisioned data etc.

    so the best way would be to backup from the web gui under the option of backup & restore.

    Last month, I added 18 users on my account first Cap I used a CSV file that included the e-mail account of the Manager of the learner to identify the contractor. No problem even if the majority leader was NOT as a user of Captivate, only his e-mail account was added as the supervisor of a Manager.

    Today, I can not add a new user (after the release of the first of February 2016) because the Manager of the person is not already in the system.

    However, my CSV file of origin listed the same administrator (using his email account) as the supervisor of a Manager throughout the world in the CSV file.

    So what has changed? And what do we do when we want to add a person who does not have a supervisor? As the CEO of the company? At some point, we have the ability to add a person who is not a supervisor.

    Am I missing something obvious?
