Add a search engine on my Site
I need to add a search engine to my site...I installed the free version of google, but of course it shows the announcement also sponsored on the results page - even our biggest competitor!
Is there a good free version out there that can't be advertising?
If so - can I index my own site, or it uses google also?
If not - is there a good purchase (an extension?) that I can index my site?
Thank you in advance...
Thank you all!
the research of zoom works great!

Hello
I suggest you sign upward to Google Webmaster tools (free) and check your site (directions are in the webmaster tools) and
also consider joining Google analytic (also free). Analytical will allow you to 'see' who is visiting your site and how they experience through research, order the seizure of the URL, or through the links, etc. Also from where they come, how much per day, etc. Lots of good information.

How Swagbucks my default search engine?
When I turn on my default search engine, Swagbucks is not one of the choices. Visit this site did not do anything to add to the list of search engine options. It seems that Firefox only wants me to choose among search engine options they list - or what I am doing wrong?
Hello
I had a look at Swagbucks and it doesn't seem to be a search engine, but a site that you must register to use.
I think they have an extension that you can install that will allow this feature to link, but be aware that it is installed from outside the site of the add-on and may include banner ads in the browser.

can I create a search using the field open a search engine?
Opera browser allows to make a right-click on the open any search engine and add this search engine to your browser.
Firefox has a 'use a keyword for this search context menu' to use the address bar to search.
Maybe it's not available or work properly with all forms of research.See also:

I lost all my search engine in the navigation bar, can I reinstate them?
I did not all search engines, they disappeared. I restored my computer to a restore point where I had four engines and now none. I use FF8, but when I updated to FF8.01 all went wrong shot, that's why I had to restore and use FF8, but still no engines.
Hey DFBM,
Have you tried reinstalling your search engine rankings? Take a look at this article. It will show you how to add a search engine.
If it won't let you install because it says they are already installed, they have may be corrupted. If this is the case try remove them from the \searchplugins\ folder in your profile folder.
I close and restart everything you have finished, and then try to reinstall them.

Adding a search engine creates a bookmark instead of an element in the search bar
Hi all
right click in a search field on (almost) any web page offers the possibility to add the search in the search bar.
In FF4, however, this creates a bookmark rather than add entry than the engine in the search bar.
Everyone knows the same problem?
Thanks and respect,
LeoTalk you about the context menu item carry Add a keyword for this search...? It's for search bar location, using a keyword that you have defined in the properties of a bookmark (beyond the help of packaged keywords) that come with Firefox.
