• Repeating the Excel 2003 security updates

  This last Tuesday, downloaded Windows updates and installed a first series of 10 updates, then during the next hours downloaded and installed at least four or five more simple updates before finally obviously get what she wanted and that constant updating process.  At this point, I really don't pay attention to what was being downloaded like every single update.

  Today, my computer has downloaded up to present nine has security updates for Excel 2003 only, each apparently exactly the same day, with each of them supposedly completely, install through downloading everything and install the process without a hitch... except for the constant repetition of the download.  I recognize that the time between each of them becomes a greater length, but so far, they are still happening.  Frankly, I am tired of this two and begins to wonder what is happening.  Each of them takes only about 3 minutes to do, nor requires a reboot, but it just keeps reappearing and there annoying.

  I want to know if there are in fact only a number of these necessary updates, and if so, why the hell can not all be made at the same time with a single download?  If not, is there something wrong here with Windows updates or my computer (the last scares me - I need this computer!)?  I have tried restarting my computer for the simple reason that I wanted to check my e-mail and various other things quickly before going to bed, because I had a long day of shopping, walking on and see doctors.  I want to stop and get some sleep, but this thing continues to display!  I'm at the point of waiting until it is crossed once and then stop really fast before another begins.

  Does anyone have an idea as to what is happening?  He just asked for another!

  EDIT: 09-13-2013. 10:33. after the last "update" and the display of this message, I was asked for the other two of these same updates until I finally did it with what I was doing, making total 12 from the moment I turned on the computer (constantly. 22:30) and when I turned it off (about 12 h 40). Each of the last three times were much more tense, but he showed.  This morning the update appeared again while my mother used my computer as his own refused to connect to the wifi while I worked with her.  The rear plug, my computer, I got the update that said she wanted, and it was the same thing.  He's been through, supposed to be updated and disappeared.  Three minutes later, another one appeared, SAME THING DAMNED.  I don't know if my update does not save the update or if there is a loop at the end from where the updates, but I'm giving up.  I hope there, can someone help me solve this problem, please!

  EDIT #2: 13/09/2013, 18:20.  Later - my mother's computer usually does its updates at least a day behind me.  Today, she started with the large group of 10 that my problems began.  However, she was able to see that one of the updates, it believes that it is the Excel one since the brief overview of the error message she had before his computer does restart, has not ended.  She saw something to the effect of "could not install, error writing."  His computer is now pulling him constantly trying to install the update to Excel 2003 security with the same number (KD2810048), that mine made.  We both left it sit at the point of what awaits us install OK just to stop the cycle and be able to work, as our computers are the two otherwise works well.

  Our computers are not connected in any way, except that mine is in wifi with the physical connection, and his box uses a wifi adapter to wireless interface with the box on my desk from his bedroom.  The only time where everything comes and goes is files between our computers, as she has the printer, is if I want to print.  I have to put the files on my USB key, in his computer and print from the files on the flash.  Together had just updated us all our security (MSE, free Spybot, Malware free - and they all work very well together and have for more than three years, so don't tell me that "they are not compatible") and ran clean scans on our computers before this all started.

  If you place a table not formatted (Excel spreadsheet) in the cells of InDesign with '-1' are not displayed :-(

  The Adobe solution is to use the tables formatted, but that is no option for us, because if the numbers in the excel worksheet updated, InDesign loses real formatting and rebuilt the Excel formatting :/

  The problem is understandable for Adobe, but we didn't have the suspicion to ask in the forum for a solution.

  I think the problem is the operating system and independent version of InDesign - we everywhere (Windows 7,8,10) and Mac OS X, CS6 CC problem - there is a bug/feature in constand.

  Does anyone have a solution or a solution to our problem? :-)

  In Excel, you must precede the - 1 with an apostrophe (so '-1). As you probably know, this is unnecessary with other negative numbers... If I remember correctly.

  It is not sufficient for formatting just these cells as text in Excel, the apostrophe is necessary.

  Page 1 Instruction, business cards and samples of model sheet, the client fills text fields and a button to save/email

  Page 2 is a sheet A4 10 subforms, a copy of the original card on Page 1

  Page 3 is a sheet A4 3 subforms a copy of the original model on Page 1 sheet

  My 3-page PDF file is 3 MB, with a total of 119 KB of images embedded in the file. During the re-creation from scratch, I noticed that when I edit the textfield object to a specific size, to remove the legend, change font, etc., the size of the file increases. Only a single text field treated as this added an another 400 KB of the size of my file.

  I am following the format of a similar form that has as much information (maybe more), and this file, over 2 pages, total not more than 800 KB. There are several text fields for the customer to add their details.

  Could I have a bug?

  Are there problems of incompatibility or conflict with other software?

  All this experience and found a solution?

  Using LiveCycle Designer (9.0) ARE on Win 7 64-bit. Have you tried a recent update for CS6 (e-Learning suite) who screwed up other parameters of the software and have since removed it (CS6) for now.

  It may be the police that you changed in your field. Try to use as little of different fonts as possible. Otherwise, if it's a popular font that you are using you can remove the option of them be incorporated into the form. File > properties > Save Options and uncheck the box embedded fonts.

  My requirement is to generate an excel from PL/SQL, which I was able to do in the code next Sanjeev. I was able to generate an excel, but the data in the cells were all in the format 'general' I want to date formatted as currency as "currency" and "date".
  
  I have looked further and landed on the piece of code following

  I created an excel template. I have a few number of columns that I've formatted by selecting the column > right click > format cells > number
  But as soon as I update the parameters of this formatting is lost. I also have a number of 23 numbers that loses its last four digits if I formatted in number

• How to read formatting excel worksheet as an array of strings

  I use the report tool to read an excel spreadsheet in an array of strings of LV.  It works fine except that it reads the precision of digital cells (~ 10 digits of precision).

  In my workbook I have displayed accuracy the value 2.  Is it possible to read the table such that it is displayed instead of the way it is stored internally?  (BTW, I understand how to do this)

  manually by parsing the string array and limit myself to the accuracy but would prefer to use excel itself to determine accuracy)

  This should allow you to get the text from a cell or a range of cells.  Sort of do a "paste special" 'values '.

  You just set the NumberFormat for the cell, that you write. The format of the extract may be not exactly what you want, just adjust accordingly.

  

• ESXi 5.0 STIG (increased security)

  I did the security hardening on a host ESXi 5 (test area), and I can't know what part is to complete the shell ESXi service stop to keep downtime.  Lock mode is not enabled, the SSH service is running when I look at the graphical interface, and when I have F2 and connection via the DCUI it shows that the 'ESXi Shell is activated.  Under this same box, it shows "SSH is enabled", and under the firewall, the SSH server is enabled and running.

  I hope that someone knows exactly what it is, of course, I changed some sshd_config files and such, but I'm not if that it affects.  It isn't causing a problem since it is just a test host, but I have gone through all these pages, I just can't understand what prevents this.

  Did you change the options of ESXiShellInteractiveTimeOut or ESXiShellTimeOut? These settings can reset a manually activated shell. Check the values with these commands:

  Define "locked up".   Your phone is already locked, if it is requiring a tactile entry ID.   There is no way that your nephew could unblock unless he knows your password if was already locked.   If your iPhone was actually asleep, he had to be locked if you have been using Touch ID.  Best to put also a long, rather than a simple access code.

  All iPhones require entry of the passcode if more than 3 footprints Touch ID incorrect or illegible sequential entered.

When I tested this software to convert MBOX file to Excel format then it properly complete the process extract email attachments and save in the new folder.

  I recommend this software as it not only convert MBOX to Excel, but gives also facilitated to convert MBOX files in several formats to common files such as HTML, RTF, PDF, etc. from PST.
