  OK, you can choose any username, any username to install additional management service in another machine.

  It has nothing to do with the configuration of the original WHO. They remain in the 2 totally different machine. SST and their, OC4J OracleAS Web Cache

  I am trying to add a new disk using 'vdiskcreate.pl' to my VM created without the original disks.

  Command is:

  "/usr/lib/vmware-vcli/apps/vm/vdiskcreate.pl--serveur testserver - username testuser - testpwd - filename testvm - thin backingtype - disksize 40960 password"

  I get the following error:

  'Method cannot be called a 'key' to a value not set in line /usr/lib/vmware-vcli/apps/vm/vdiskcreate.pl ' 82

  But if I add the first disc manually using vCenter and then run the command above to add additional disks, it works very well.

  Can someone help me?

  Basically, I want to clean the discs after each installation. Without this, the size of the vmdk file continues to grow.

  Previous capture has been accomplished, but, then, in trying to add additional clips of the same device, it failed.

  Every 40 minutes of excerpts of 185 was initially captured by using Sony Vegas Platinum 11 Moviemaker, without error. Additional clips of mt2 were then imported successfully into Premiere Pro after indexation, which conform clips, and they play perfectly well and high quality CS5.5.2 at 1440 x 1080i.

  I'm now back at the base. Checked the anamorphic HDV on the server of the Studio and he was a con man, tired cable, the M6600 like me after spending six hours at an airport in China.

  Replaced cable and everything is fine.

I know a few things have changed since then and I didn't know how that would influence the answers. I want to create a virtual machine with specific applications that will play on VMware player.   I have a VM Win2012DC with CPU/Memory HotAdd enabled. This virtual machine has virtual material 9.

  When I add additional processors to this virtual machine, I see in Device Manager, the additional processors, but the system see only old 4 processors.

  I have scessfull add processors on server 2008R2, vmx-09 and 2012-server with vmx-08 and it works very well.

  Anyone have more information on this Bug?

  I have some questions on how to manage the snapshots of virtual machines with multiple disks on different LUNS.  First of all, the LUNS are VMFS.  We are just starting to add virtual machines with dedicated for data storage format VMFS LUNS.  I don't think an extra space must be made for snapshots, as well as at least 100 GB LUN is required to store the data, and then say, add about 25 to 50% of this amount?  Set the 100 GB vmdk file but have the GB from 25 to 50 additional disk space for snapshots, if necessary (rather than just to get a unit number logic needed 100 GB of data and devote all of the 100 GB to the vmdk file).  In addition, if a virtual machine has several files vmdk on different LUNS, which will be a problem to take a snapshot, and is it possible to do just a snapshot of a disk of a virtual computer (as the volume of the BONE)?

  Snapshot files are created in the home folder of the VM by default for all virtual disks, no matter on what data store they are. You must make sure you have enough free disk space on the data store for snapshots.

  If you want to exclude a virtual disks of taking snapshots, you can set it to 'Independent' - 'Persistent' machine virtual settings to the HARD drive.

  But/dev/map/VolGroup00/LogVol00 shows that the 20 GB.

  With a lot of attention.    I just went through something similar myself.  This web site has been very useful: http://www.linuxnetadmin.com/2008/01/how-to-add-disk-space-with-lvm-on-linux.html

  The website above describe the steps when adding an additional drive, but the steps for extending on a new partition on the same disk should be similar.

  Take a snapshot first in case things go very wrong.
