Please refer to the documentation of PeopleBooks. You can keep the case by specifying the Boolean value.

default value is FALSE, that is, all will be converted to lower case

As Curt said, you cannot change the criteria for the list yourself, but there are workarounds.

  • Adding file Extension to Dreamweaver CS 5.5

I have a strange problem that I hope someone can shed some light on. I use Dreamweaver CS 5.5 (11.5 Build 5344) and seeks to add a file extension so that I can open the file with the Design view and get the color code and other syntax. I did successfully with previous versions of Dreamweaver, but I'm missing something, or something has changed (I'm on a new PC with Windows 7, 64-bit - that everything worked well for me on the last PC I was on had Win7 64 bit).

I'm basically following information here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/164/tn_16410.html. For a test, I've renamed just an extension of web page file to. LOL and ran through the steps outlined in the document. No luck. Can someone shed some light on this or spot something I may have missed (or check if it works for 5.5)?

    Thank you!

It will not. The Preferences dialog box is only to implement external editors as indicated by your search.

  • File extensions do not created when saving images for the web, using the slice, Photoshop CS4-slice tool

    Working with slices in Photoshop

When I save slices through "Except for web devices", in PS, the resulting images are file extensions but appear to be image files.  I can open in Windows Gallery Viewer and see them however, they have no icon other than a blank page icon, not the usual png or jpg types.

To solve this problem I added manually .png and .jpg those pristine images through their file names. It seems to work very well for the resolution of jpg files.  In addition, when registering via 'Save for web devices' slices I chose manually imput to the second field and following: PNG or jpg.  This results in the names of files with .jpg but not .png [both png12 and png24]

    When you save slices:

    1. choose the file type

    2 save

    3. internal record Panel: choose:

    (a) image only

    (b) Selected slices [or user slices - as seem to have similar results]

    (c) in the settings: other:

    (i) disable: copy the background image and create the image folder

(II) for the file nameing use: slice of name and in the second field, add the file extension: jpg or png.

    PNG FILES

I seem to have problems to import any .png file, created from slices via 'Save for web devices' method, in PS and Fireworks.  However, I do not seem to be able to import them into Illustrator and Indd.

I want to do is to be able to create slices PNG and JPG files and follow the method "Save via web devices" without having to become an expert in all the options in the Save Panel.  And then be able to import it into Fireworks or in PS.

Is there something in the preferences that needs to address, or there at - it a bug of sumfink?

To solve the problem of file extention:

    1. When you save file slots in the Panel 'Save for web devices' and 'Save' Panel appears. Then, you click on 'other' in the settings and do appear the file naming options panel.  Make sure you keep ".ext" in the substantive area of naming options.

Yes, that's the error.  Now file for .png extensions are created and therefore work OK in Fireworks and Psalm

  • Why my file extension PSD eventually registered as file 8?

I created a file in Photoshop and he was recording along the way as a layered PSD file. When I went to open a few days later, it does not open and said it was a "file of 8. What happened and how to fix it? He had all the layers of design that I need another project. :/

In Photoshop, use the command file > open as... PSD will be chosen by default. See if it opens.

In Windows if (.psd) file extension is changed, then Photoshop cannot open.

If I understand what you're saying something or someone renamed the file with an extension.8 instead of .psd

I loaded a bunch of Add-ons and extensions in Firefox. Since then, when I close and re-open Firefox, change my bookmarks toolbar menu. They are all still there, but their location on the menu bar change tool. Example, I keep the most used where they are visible on the front of the tool bar, but to re - open, they are everywhere, but visible and probably near the bottom of the toolbar drop-down list is looooong.

  • Firefox does not add the file on the file extension registration

  • Change the file extension

I use Windows XP Home Edition.  How do you change the file extension when the system cannot open the picture?  It was recorded as "All Files".

Go to control panel, folder (in Classic view) options, go to the view tab and scroll down to find Hide extensions of known file types.  Uncheck the box and click on the file.  Rename the file and change the file extension.

  • File extensions changed to alb...

My apologies if this question has been beaten into the ground, but I'm a bit confused on the name of the songs file extension in my MP3 player (I have a Sansa e260). I ran the option that corrects errors or corrupted on my MP3 player, and subsequently files (or at least I think) as I tried to access the files in my computer, a window popped up saying that Windows cannot open the file because it contains an extension .alb. I files mp3 music are always marked with the mp3 or .wma file extension, not .alb

I tried to delete files on my MP3 player but can do more now that Windows says that it cannot open the .alb files. Please tell me that I don't have to clear the files from my MP3 player.

Is anyway to change this, or am I worrying unnecessarily?

I would appreciate any information that you may be able to provide.

Sure that the song files themselves have changed? Or you have some sort of software that makes playlists and eventually called alb (ums).

How big are the files .alb (right click on properties)? If they are only a few KB, they are not the songs, they are a kind of textual list. If they are more than 3 MB, then they are good songs, but it would be very strange.

Error, file names checking does not change.

And you should be able to remove any file type you can see - even if Windows does not know how to open it - just by right clicking and pressing DELETE.

But do not get rid of them until you have an idea of what they are.

  • On my desk, all file associations have changed & all extensions have become ".lnk" instead of ".exe". So I can't run any program without going through 'my computer '.

When the problem persisted for 3-4 days, I thought to check the properties of the file "", & that's when I learned that even though she describes the file type as 'application', she has a ".lnk" extension I deleted the shortcut & set it to new, but who has not resolve it. I ran "anti-virus", & he found.
Whenever I click any shortcut on the desktop, it asks me what program should be used to open it. Yesterday, I clicked on 'Internet Explorer' & changed the option "open with...". "for IE. By mistake, I uncheck the box 'always apply for this type of files', at the bottom of this window. So now, each item on the desk trying to open with IE.
All I want to do is retrieve these files & extensions associations. How can this be achieved? Any help? Apart from this, the laptop works well as before.

    Thanks in advance.
    Mitch.

    Hello

. INK files are usually created on a Tablet PC

    . LNK files are shortcuts

Have you done something that their renamed? By the program files you mean DATA or the actual programs
What should you run? Data files can be renamed to the correct extensions.
