Add blank lines to the report

I create a report that lists a training topic and current employees who must complete the course. I would like to add a number any white lines (part of the page) to the bottom of the report to accommodate non-registered participants. This report will be printed, signed and then used as input to record the training.

I know I can do a UNION at the bottom of the report, but I would like to than the number of lines to set using a hard rather than coded page element. Someone at - it an idea?

I tried
...
union
select NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL
from EMPLOYEES
where rownum <= :P1727_BLANKS
but this gives me a line no matter what.
...
union all
select null, null, null, null, null
from dual
connect by rownum <= :P1727_BLANKS

• Avoid blank lines at the top of the column

So I create posts of all the two weeks and I had a question that would make my job easer.

I've been messing around with the widow and orphans, but I have a slightly different problem.

We use returns between paragraphs (a blank line between paragraphs), and I was wondering if there was a way to use GREP or showing something to automatically prevent blank lines at the top of a column.

Right now, I have remove and re-add returns throughout the editing process, which as you can guess, can become messy and easy to miss.

I wish I had where I don't have to do it all on my own, so the empty lines would be 'hide' automatically if at the top of a column, but would return if things get moved around.

Thoughts?

Thanks for the help.

It's a reason that should not do this way. Correctly using the space before and/or after the space solves your problem.

• < xsl: attribute name = "break-before" > page < / xsl: attribute >-add blank lines

Hello.
< xsl: attribute name = "break-before" > page < / xsl: attribute >-add blank lines.
When to transfer the lines to the next page with the command
< xsl: attribute name = "break-before" > page < / xsl: attribute >, a new page at the beginning of a blank line, then the data. And so on all pages. If < xsl: attribute name = "break-before" > page < / xsl: attribute > removed, the XML Editor displays all the lines correctly.

I can send RTF and XML files.

Does anyone know how can I solve this problem?
Thank you

Send me the xml files and the [email protected] model. I'll take a look. Also, can you clarify your needs and deliver a little clearer in your email?

Thank you!

• displaying empty lines in the report

Dear forum

I have a specific format of some good consisting of a few lines.
good report sometimes get 5 lines sometimes 8 lines, according to the transaction of such specific evidence.

is it possible that I set the number of rows in the report. Let's say 10 lines.
If indeed the good is of 5 lines, 5 other lines appear empty in the end.
and when actually the good is of 8 lines, the other 2 rows appear in empty at the end.

so that all lines displayed in right are 10. Top of page lines filled with data and other below appear as blank lines and the general format of the good looks good on a single page.

Hi Piya,

I run your code, and according to your logic that it works correctly.

It's adding that line only once because according to your logic that one line can be added to MDT, if you do not want to add line on each click on the button, follow these steps:

selectedindex1 = chart [obj1.getSelectedIndex ()];
selectedindex2 = shade [obj2.getSelectedIndex ()];
selectedindex3 = rolls [obj3.getSelectedIndex ()];
selectedindex4 = cuts [obj4.getSelectedIndex ()];

{

Mr President

How to add two lines when the second row is not visible, but also gets the first data line too?

I want to add two lines like below picture, but want the second to remain invisible.

tworows.png

I asked this question but my way of asking was wrong, that's why for me once again.

Concerning

Try to follow these steps:

1. in the database table to add the new column "JOIN_COLUMN" and add the new sequence "JOIN_SEQ".

2. Add this new column in the entity object. (You can add this in entity object by right clicking on the entity object and then select "Synchronize with database" then the new column and press on sync)

3. in your bookmark create button to create only one line NOT 2 rows.

4 - Open the object entity--> java--> java class--> on the entity object class generate and Tick tick on the accessors and methods of data manipulation

5 - Open the generated class to EntityImpl and go to the doDML method and write this code

protected void doDML(int operation, TransactionEvent e)
{
if(operation == DML_INSERT)

• Add a line to the table programmatically

Hello

How do I add lines to the af: table of the java class? for that to editable object view exist on the JSPX page

Thank you

Chaya

You can see the following code to add a line at the end of the table programmatically:

public String cb1_action() {}

Add the code in the event here...

BindingContainer bc is BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();.

JUCtrlHierBinding hierBinding = (JUCtrlHierBinding) bc.get ("EmployeesView3");

DCIteratorBinding dciter = hierBinding.getDCIteratorBinding ();

NavigatableRowIterator nav = dciter.getNavigatableRowIterator ();

NewRow row = nav.createRow ();

newRow.setNewRowState (Row.STATUS_INITIALIZED);

Line lastRow = nav.last ();

int lastRowIndex = nav.getRangeIndexOf (lastRow);

nav.insertRowAtRangeIndex (lastRowIndex + 1, newRow);

dciter.setCurrentRowWithKey (newRow.getKey () .toStringFormat (true));

Returns a null value.

}

For the case where you must add a line in different places of the table, see the link below:

Hi friends,

SELECT * FROM EMPLOYEES ORDER BY DEPARTMENT_ID;

As a result of the foregoing, I need to INSERT a blank line in the result for each department_id. for example, the result should resemble the following:

EMP_ID - NAME - SALARY - DEPARTMENT_ID

102 - Benjamin - 8 000 - 10

2

I want to insert a blank line after every 1

I'm quite puzzled why you need rows in the dataset returned by a select statement that is empty.
If you are using Oracle reports to the release date, you define the presentation of the report to have spaces between the rows returned by the select and have do not need to have the select statement returns a blank line after each line of data. If the output should be obtained by using another client, I think that the customer will have facilities for output formatting.

Admit that you really need "blank lines" between data lines, I see only one way: use a temporary table and do an insert into select temporary_table (...) ... from... where... Then, in this temporary table, you can insert 'empty rows', which is actually not really empty, because they must have some fields that give the order of the rows. And then select in temporary_table, you place your order by the columns that are used to give the order for the release.
Thus

insert into temporary_table (
....
)
select ...
from ...
where ...
;
for r in (
select col1, col2, col3 -- columns used for order by
from temporary_table
order by col1, col2, col3
)
loop
insert into temporary_table (col1, col2,col3, col4)
values (r.col1,r.col2,r.col3, null);
end loop;
-- this way, a select * from temporary_tabel order by col1, col2, col3, col4 will return a blank row after each data row

In summary, I have a list of Parents, and if they have a child, the name of their children is below. Not all parents have children.

If the data is a bit like this:

Name of the parent

Name of the child

Name of the parent

Name of the parent

Name of the parent

Name of the child

When I loop data in my RTF model, I want to be able to insert a blank line before all of the lines 'Parent '. A bit like this:

Name of the parent

Name of the child

Name of the parent

Name of the parent

Name of the parent

Name of the child

I tried to do this by adding an empty xml tag in the list, like this:

<? XML version = "1.0"? >

< LABEL_TEST >

< LIST_G_TEST >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NAME > Parent 1 < / NAME >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NAME > Kid 1 < / NAME >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NAME > < / NAME >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NAME > Parent 2 < / NAME >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NAME > < / NAME >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NAME > Parent 3 < / NAME >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NAME > < / NAME >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NAME > 4 Parent < / NAME >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< G_LABEL_HEADER >

< NAME > Kid 4 < / NAME >

< / G_LABEL_HEADER >

< / LIST_G_TEST >

< / LABEL_TEST >

But that doesn't seem to work.

Manny

I found a solution that works very well.

I added a new XML field to my data called . In my model, this field is inserted in the line, but in a location where there is no data being printed. And it is formatted as white text, so that it basically just does not appear.

So essentially, it's what I have now:

Parent 1

.

Child 1

.

.

Parent 2

.

.

Parent 3

.

.

Mother 4

.

Child 4

.

If the data is a bit like this:

The name of the parent.

The name of the child.

.

The name of the parent.

.

The name of the parent.

.

The name of the parent.

The name of the child.

When I loop data in my RTF model, the '. ' is a white text, then I get this:

Name of the parent

Name of the child

Name of the parent

Name of the parent

Name of the parent

Name of the child

• How to hide the bottom line in the report?

Hello world

We are working on reports 11 GR 2 64-bit.

In each report, end of text on a page, a horizontal line (i.e. the lower line) at the end of each page is illustrated and printed unnecessarily.

But problem in stationery printed, especially in printing cheques.

Kindly advise me how to hide this summary, especially in printing.

Thank you.

Hello
Is these reports are prepared on 11g or migrated from the previous version.

In any case, to test it, - create a report from scratch on 11 g and run it, also check the footer to all the lines on the subject.
I hope that you can identify the question to redo the thing for testing

Good luck

• Add a line around the text with a stroke

This has been driving me crazy for years and often found ways to achieve "kind of", but I thought someone here might be able to help.

Create a text, vectorize, add a line. OK, now I want to add a line around this whole thing so it is dye-cut on vinyl. My Cup is just a stroke with a color defined in my palette. I create 2 shots, but I can not understand how to get one to go on the other. I tried also to duplicate the image, to create just a glimpse, but it is impossible to get exactly described by hand.

If I don't explain this right, please let me know.

So, I have the text converted to outlines, white and gold accident fill stroke. I need to be able to dye cut it. If you add a new related, it's at the top of the old. Basically, I want to add a stroke to the race, but only on the outside.

Thanks in advance!

It transforms the effect (which is a direct construction but does not really exist) in paths that exist for the cutting line. Do you need a real tool to follow line don't you?
