Add Bluetooth to the Pavillion Elite e9250t

I have a Pavillion Elite e9250t running Win7 Home 64 - bit, 6 MB of RAM. This device is not factory equipped with Bluetooth. What is the less expensive (but still reliable) way of evolution of this machine from desktop to Bluetooth capability?

Hello:

I bought this USB Bluetooth adapter for my HP 8200 Elite CMT.

I plan to replace both drives, currently, to 500 discs with a capacity higher than as 2 TB each. The Pavilion Elite e9250t supports 2 TB disks? And can I install them with RAID, so that my data is protected?

    Hello JMHP,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the Forums of HP, I would like to draw your attention to the Guide of the Forums HP first time here? Learn how to publish and more.

I understand that you have questions about your desktop PC HP Pavilion Elite e9250t supports 2 TB disks and whether or not it supports RAID. According to HP Pavilion Elite e9250t desktop PC product specifications and configurable Options , your computer supports "2 TB (2 x 1 TB) 7200 RPM SATA 3 G (3.0 Gb/s) ' so the answer to your first question is 'YES', it will support a 2 TB hard. As to your second question as to if she supports RAID, indio motherboard (which is what you have) supports the following:

    • Integrated RAID controller: P55 (same as previously introduced application ICH9r RAID)
    • Steps to configure RAID (internal link to setup for P55, even the steps of configuration for ICH10r and ICH9r)
    • Intel RAID solution is called Intel Matrix Storage Technology (outside link)
    • Only some models indio compatible ship RAID (see datasheet for your model). Compatible RAID means that the system is ready to be configured for RAID 0 or RAID 1.
    • Migration from 1 to 0 is supported by material in the world.
    • RAID modes supported *:
      • RAID 0
      • RAID 1
    • Additional resources:

    * NOTE: three hard disks requires a RAID 5 and RAID 10 four hard drives. While the hardware can support other RAID modes, only RAID 0 and RAID 1 modes are supported on models that include this motherboard.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

The most common use of bluetooth technology is to synchronize the data with a phone that you can do with usb or to attach a bluetooth mouse or keyboard or a headphone as if you wanted to make the stone of rosette or something like that. It is not used to network with other computers, usually. If you have never actually used bluetooth I don't see why you need to have. If you feel that you are missing something in the way very easy to add bluetooth is with a cheap usb bluetooth dongle.

    $10 on amazon.com

The other method would involve the removal and replacement of the wireless card to install one that makes the wi - fi or bluetooth connection. It would cost maybe $ 40-50 for the card but is not an easy task on your laptop model. It is no easy access door and would require fairly complete disassembly and would jeopardize security.

Bluetooth is a feature of premium generally not provided at the lower end of the points of laptop computer prices, such as the models of Wal-Mart.

Y at - it a combo Mini PCIe wifi/BT card that will add Bluetooth to AMD 682220-001 motherboard

    Hello:

According to the service manual for your laptop, Chapter 3, page 28, there are a few cards, wlan/bluetooth of different model that are supposed to work with your model.

None of the Intel adapters will not work because your laptop has an AMD processor and chipset.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c03591253

IMO, your best option would be to get the Broadcom 4313GN 802.11b/g/n WiFi and 20702 Bluetooth 4.0 1 × 1

Combo adapter HP Part # 657325-001.

You might be able to get this cheap card on eBay by questioning by the part number.

At the time that your model has been produced, HP began to remove the blocking of the BIOS.

A white list of BIOS contains the hardware ID's of the supported wireless cards HP can be used in specific model books.  If a wireless network card ID was not in the whitelist, the PC does not start until the wlan unsupported card is removed.

No one knows for sure exactly when it was made or on which models, so I recommend you buy a card with the HP part number thereon, or it may not work.

If you want to roll the dice and assume that the white list does not exist for your model, you can go to the broadcom dual band with bluetooth adapter.

  • Latitude E6410 - Add Bluetooth

I have a user who wants to add bluetooth to his E6410. I can't find the accessories on the Dell site that will add this feature.

I see that the E6400 model supports the module card/370 BT (on the Dell site) and there is only a slot marked WPAN (near the fan/radiator), but the design of the E6410 is different. It integrates the function of Virginia, and who takes the place of the WPAN slot. According to me, there's a slot open at the bottom of the unit, with WWAN and something else noted.

Does anyone know if the E6410 will take all internal add on cards? Finally, I realized the 375 chip is the chip of the factory, and need disassembly hard core install.

I was looking for something a little less drastic.

I recently bought a second hand E6410 so I'm answering previous messages of unanwsered for the sake of someone else who did research on Bluetooth and Latitude ON Flash.

The Bluetooth card connector is located on the front of the laptop and no back. It is located directly under where it says LATITUDE | E6410 LHS of Panel palmrest, in the section above the keyboard next to the monitor. Access to he will take out battery, the radiator/fan, cache, the keyboard and about 8 screws that keep the LHS of the palmrest in place Panel. You do not need to remove all of the palmrest panel, you need just enough movement of it to access the Bluetooth card connector.

Latitude e6410 Service Manual states that you must remove about 20 items. Apart from the battery and those mentioned above, nothing else should be removed. You may need to degonder the monitor to move the traffic so that you can successfully open at the corner of the palm rest.

Once you are there, just connect the connection cable (which is built into the Bluetooth card) on the connector, then place the Board and screw it in place (1 x screw).

If anyone has need for more information about the installation/removal of the Bluetooth card or the Latitude ON Flash module, please me message.

Where buy these items is concerned as much as I can only suggest to try eBay or antiquing on line. :)
