• How to set a default calendar in the application calendar in Windows 8?

  I have two accounts of calendar to my metro style calendar application: one for the email address that I use for my connection to Microsoft and the other is my main Gmail account that I use for all my personal emails and calendar events. Whenever I go and add a new event, my Microsoft email is set as default. Even though I know that it is possible to change the calendar that your event will be added by using the drop-down menu at the top left, I was hoping there would be a way to put my personal Gmail account by default since I tend to add events from 10 to 20 at a time.

  The way that I move it is:

  Open Calendar

  open framework

  * put power off all all the calendars that you want to use for example. Hotmail, live etc.

  * just ensure that your gmail calendar is still turned on.

  When you create a new event, it will be an event of gmail.

  This guy is just.  More specifically, go to the calendar settings.
  Go to 'Options' which is the 2nd selection down (under accounts).
  Then, drag the sliders ' Hide ' for any calendar, you want to see.  I only had the bed in the account schedule and my calendar to Exchange (similar to gmail) and since I've hidden the built in calendars, now when I go to the calendar and add a new event, default to my exchange calendar.  I even tested to make sure that he wasn't going to the right place.  He has appeared on my phone (which is sync via the same account.)

  1. See thread why Windows 8 'Calendar' app doesn't have the option to change the first day of the week? where I explain how to access the Calendar Options page.
  2. On the main Options page Watch change your reminders and calendar settings
  3. By clicking on a name calendar brings a page where you can define when you want to receive reminders for this calendar - default 15 minutes before.
     Don't forget to save your changes ;-)

  • Instead of using Windows 8 calendar pin a shortcut to Outlook.com/Calendar to your start screen. To do this, since the start screen:
    -Launch Outlook.com and switch to the calendar as explained for your 1st question
    -Right-click somewhere at the top of the page to display the bottom 'bar '.
    -Click the icon called "Website tasks" (a PIN with 3 lines)
    -Select Pin to Start
    - ...
  • To create an 8 hours, go from either from 09:00 click - don't double-click - on 09:00 'square' of the date you want, and then drag your mouse down until 17:00 (8 hours block appear in a different color) and click on the Add link...

  I saw a feature in Chrome for Android that I thought was FANTASTIC, and I'd like to see it added in FF or made available via an addon. I hope that there is a developer who would be willing to consider the issue, or maybe there is already a such addon that I couldn't find.

  The feature shows a pop-out (?) Window ZOOM when you tap the screen in an area where there is more than one link, checkbox or radio button that are close together. The caisse amplifies the surroundings where the tap water was conducted and allows the user to type the link, etc., more accurately. In these situations, I would normally have to pinch to zoom, or change the orientation of my phone to be able to type exactly the choice I want.

  Maybe someone knows what we call this function or that can describe it better so that I don't get a lot of answers on the "pinch to zoom" or "zoom image", who are not related.

  I will soon be updated to El Capitan and did a back up of my files via Time Machine. Another recommended step is updated important and frequently used applications/software. I realize I don't have a list and a description of the APPLE applications that come with the iMac and Apple Store apps I loaded in the past two years. Any suggestions to find such a descriptive list?

  Hej, we are trying to achieve mobile webstreams for our customers. So far, I realized a scenario, where my custom cam application connects to the application of livepkgr, which starts to record the stream and publish video files of HLS. What we do in our main application (flash player based), are a few billing intervals, check-ins on database and so on. So in my understanding, it is necessary to implement some of these necessary functions in the application of livepkgr as well, because the customer directly calls the url for mobile stream, without any flash. There is no communication to our custom to all application, I'm wrong? Then I ve tried to simply replace the main.far by a main.asc custom (decompressed archive before you get the original main.asc). But now, when I want to test the scenario again, the connection is rejected by the livepkgr application. He say´s the main.asc ist not signed. Is it possible to archive this? Or would it be sufficient to extend my existing application (main.asc) in the way the livepkgr Application records flows for not using two applications for office outings / mobile?   For all those who have the same problem (info: you cannot find any information on it).

  The default deployed livepkgr ist signed by Adobe. You must copy the example/livepkgr like you new application where you can change the main.asc every time.

  Hi, object custom 4 & above does not support management capabilities of the advanced field as the field validation, broken etc. In addition to this there are other limitations such as workflow support, books etc.
