Vista 32 cannot apply Service Pack 1

I tried to install Service Pack 1, but I get a generic error 800F026 which, according to the web sites is not useful. This occurs after he gets throughout the update 3 3 100% then it takes it out of the reports.

How to understand why it is ancestral?

Hello

To resolve the problem, follow the steps in Trek Dozier:

Error code: 800F0826 (cannot install Service Pack 1)

http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-windows_update/error-code-800f0826-cant-install-Service-Pack-1/6c924ed8-e354-E011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5

If you have a bunch of updates failed and are not offered SP1, the faster would be to do a factory restore.  Then immediately, run Windows Update until you are offered are no longer updated.  Then you can reinstall the programs and data.

Run the system update tool and the File Checker - post system to see Jared M for instructions.

  • Cannot install Service Pack 2 using Windows Vista Home Edition or anything else on the internet.

    Hello

I tried to download and install Service Pack 2 using Windows Vista Home Edition, or anything like that on the internet without success. According to me, the key word is internet or a block of Vista from the internet to install anything. Many people here get the same error 80070005 for SP2 as I am, but I think that the problem is with Vista, how the system allows any installs or blocks installed from the internet. I suppose that some are able to go through the download process, but installation is where it does not pass through. There are moments where it seems that the installation of SP2 works, but it will fail eventually. Other times what ever happens to the installation process. The same goes for all other downloads and installs from the internet. I am able to install a program that already exists on the computer, so I know that installs works just not the Internet. Do not send me a link to install because it probably won't last through. I may be able to download but installation will not pass by so that the program will not work. I used the words installation and internet a lot for some reason please take account, when responding.

    Thank you

  • Problems after doing a clean install of Vista Home Premium and service pack 2

I see that others have the same problem as me, but there is no way to comment (that I can see) on the thread I've read.  After a lot of problems, I did a clean install of VISTA Home Premium (came with my Dell PC) and when I installed service pk2, all of the same problems that led me to do a clean install appeared.  I can't the computer to recognize and install the keyboard and the mouse of the blue tooth. (Don't tell me to contact the manufacturer, because they came w / the computer and say "Dell" on them!)  He told me that the enumerator does not work.  Then I launched Quicken, and when I tried to save a registry check for print, he gave me the msg "Quicken launcher has stopped working".  He was a key reason I did a clean install.  The only improvement is that I can at least open Quicken, which he would not let me do before.  How to uninstall service pack 2?
