After the passage of my gmail for authentication OAuth2 account setting, whenever I send an email from my gmail, it appears to have been sent from another account I have on Thunderbird? Big problem because they are separate customers of mine. Any ideas to fix this? Thank you!

He has recently started to happen myself. i.e. I get an email to my business email and click on answer, send that and then I get THEIR next response to my personal email! When I return to check, I see that it was sent by my personal e-mail!

    The emails I send from Windows Live Mail are not delivered. Some go through the fine, others stuck for hours and finally pass and some will not at all through. When I try to send a test e-mail to me, I see him out, it appears in my Outbox, but I did not receive it. My Outbox is empty.     I use windows mail to send and receive emails.  However, when I send an email from my main e-mail address the response is sent to a secondary email address. My windows mail is set to import emails to this address, but I want the emails I send to show primary not secondary e-mail address.     1. Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | In general. Make sure that the response field is empty for both accounts.
    2. Also in tools | Accounts, make sure that your main account is the default account.

    If Cox is your provider, the only way to deliver the messages on the server must send to yourself, which of course will screw up all the message headers.

  • How can I move the emails already downloaded from an IMAP account expired in a local folder?

    I have an IMAP account expired with emails in it I can always access with Tbird as they have been downloaded I think (I can connect is no longer on the server account). I want to move these to the local folder so Tbird will not ask me the password whenever I start to access other email accounts. I tried to move and copy the emails from a local folder, I created and neither worked. How can I do this? Emails must be on my local drive somewhere or I could not open and read them at this stage.     I have a HP with Windows Vista computer.  For the last few days whenever I try to access my email using Windows Mail, a Windows security box appears you request for my user name and password that are not accepted when I type in and to "allow" with a lock symbol appears low to the right of the screen, where "incoming mail" would normally appear. I get the occasional batch of e-mails through but only once per day.  Two days ago, all of my original emails (about 1,000) have disappeared from my Inbox.  I rang my phone co co/email, microsoft and the manufacturers of my coomputer, but everyone tells me problem of is the other company.  Meanwhile, I am really concerned about all the emails that I lost.  Can anyone suggest how to get rid of this security box and restore all my lost emails?  Help!

    2 did you changes to Windows Mail settings?

    I suggest you follow these methods and check.

    Method 1:  Windows message store can be damaged or corrupted.  You can try to rebuild the message store.

    I have my put Storm in place it gets my AOL emails and my Office Outlook e-mail account.  My problem is that I get copies of all emails I send to AOL and Outlook in addition to those that I receive.  I want to only receive email on my storm and not those that I send the home and work.     I assume you mean you found send them messages, if you go to the messages, press the menu key and go to options, you should see an option called General options.  Just go and press on ' hide sent messages.

    This isn't the behavior that I'm observing.

    Have you tried a simple Reset by pressing the Home and Power buttons until the Apple logo appears.
