  • Convert a text into an MP3 file in the Alex voice?

    Hello world

Is it possible to convert a text file to an MP3 file in the Alex voice on the iPad or Windows PC?  Apparently, this can be done on the Mac.

I use the Alex voice to read the text all the time on my iPad, and I would like to be able to save the text as an MP3 file so that I can play on other devices (for example, iPod, Windows PCs).  So far I could not find built into the functionality of the iPad or iPad app that would allow me to do.  I also was not able to find any program for Windows PC that does this.

I found various programs that convert text into MP3 files (for example, TextAloud3, Voice Reader home 15, etc.), but I like the Alex voice much more than the voice in these programs, so I really hope that there is a way to do it on the iPad or Windows PC.

Thank you in advance for your help!

N ° you can't do on an iPad. I don't think there's a way to do it on a Windows PC since voice is the property of Apple, as far as I know.

  • convert audio cd music in mp3 files

I want to take a few songs to an audio CD and convert them into mp3 files that I can put in some projects of editing the video I'm trying.  I tried the function of ripping in windows media player, but I don't know how to get the MP3 of it so I can use them.

The default location, in that Windows Media Player will rip the files is the folder of the music library.

If your video editing software does not have libraries then the path UNC normal is C:\Users\Username\Music. The standard structure they should rip would be artist-Album -Audiotrack.

The media of your video editing software add function should have a browse option to find the files, but how it is actually done will vary depending on the software.

The purpose of the use of mp3 files, rather than on your CD WAV files is to move, five to ten times as much music in the same amount of storage and the sound quality has always be good enough.

You can use what version of Windows Media Player is already on your pc to rip to mp3 files. Simply start the program, click the extract and select mp3 for the format. Click rip again and choose the bitrate. I recommend the use of 192 or 256 kbps. The more the bitrate, the better is the sound quality, but the less will be the music player. I use 256 Kbps. Some who want more music on their drive use 128 Kbps. 128 Kbps sound much worse than the quality of a CD, while 256 Kbps sounds like the CD to many people. I don't hear the differnce between 256 kbps and 320 kbps. 192 Kbps always sounds nice to me, but not as good as 256 Kbps. I don't like how sounds 128 Kbps.

AAC files to mp3 conversion will result in a lower sound quality. A better idea is to make the MP3s directly from the CD.

  • Is there a way to convert my wav files to mp3 files in the player and music library.

I copied some old vinyl to my computer and saved as wav files. I would like to convert thm into mp3 files to save space. When I had Vista I believe that there is a tab in the media player that will allow me to edit the files from wav to mp3 files. Is there a way to do this in Windows 7.

To copy the old LP's to a PC, I would use Audacity (more the Lame encoder) because it will only convert but also, before we do, you can use it to clean your wav files.

Audacity is a complete audio editing software (free) so you can get rid of all unwanted sounds like the rumble of Platinum, clicking on (starting from scratch) etc. using the various filters included with the software. RIP with firstly, Audiograbber as freeware

Google for their web pages, both work with the Lame mp3 encoder.

    See you soon,.

  • What I can or cannot save video cassettes in stereo, transfer mp3 files, in Windows 7

I want to transfer old tapes into mp3 files, but my os is Windows 7, the Audacity is not compatible with.

In addition, the Realtek audio driver does not provide for a 'line' of entry for the 3.5 jack, I have the Platinum to cassettes.

My hardware only has a mic, not separate "line."

    Should I give up?

    http://Audacity.sourceforge.NET/Download/Windows

I'm looking for right at this page on the Audacity website; He reminded me that I don't actually use Audacity to create mp3s - encoder mp3 LAME (!) option is not the best in my opinion... I use the converter file sound switch NCH (free version) to create mp3 files, after that I used Audacity to create wav. vinyl or tape source files and I have had no problems with one of these.

I think your inability to get the sound through the recording in audacity's going to be a matter of adjustment. I lost my signal inadvertently change something and then I had to retrace my steps to get it back again! And things will probably be a little different on your Sony to my Dell, but I'll try and set up a few steps to try and just hope they work for you... R

  • Edit / split Mp3 files into pieces

    Hello

My Russian Professor makes nice MP3 files to show the pronunciation of the Russian.

To add who uttered the words in the file of Anki I want to split the MP3 file in mp3 format, small files each file containing a separate Word.

Preference the Division carried out automatically using the silence between the words.

Small mp3 files be corrected in a csv file to load in Anki.

    Rob

GarageBand doesn't have a tool to divide an audio region in the silence between the words and export which segments as new audio files automatically.

You can create a new audio file for each word by marking the word with the cycle of the region and the sharing of the project to a folder on your disk.  GarageBand will only export the part marked by the sequence in a loop.

Audio Hijack can split audio files in the silence between the parties, but I never tried to divide between the individual words.

  • IM using Lightroom 4.4 on a pc.  Im trying to add music to a slide show, but it will only allow me to add a track or file.  I'm using mp3 files

I use Lightroom 4.4 on a pc.  I'm trying to add music to a slide show for a wedding set.  It only allows me to add a track or file.  I am using mp3 files

Single track is a limitation with v4.4

You can upgrade to v6/cc, or.

Use an editor of sounds (such as Audacity) to bring together two or more tracks until you have a piece of mp3 music to last your time required.
