Add-ons Manager will not open watch just the loading animation

Try to look and check out the modules using the Manager of modules as follows:
Tools - modules leading to new tab opening, but all that is displayed is the loading with the timer animation icon. I've now left on for more than 45 minutes before writing this information.
The problem arises after the upgrade from Version 4 to Version 5 earlier this year.

I had this problem a few hours ago. It acts like the Add-ons Manager is "stuck" loading all Extensions and Plug-ins.

Try this "correction". (It worked for me.)
Restart Firefox in Mode safe (go to help-> restart with modules disabled...)
In Safe Mode to display the Manager of modules again. It should take over.
Verify that you can see the list of Extensions and Plug-ins.
Manager modules, additional check updates.
"Restart Firefox to return to" normal ".
Start the add-on Manager.
It should load normally.

  • Add-ons Manager does not since I updated Firefox yesterday, no?

I've updated Firefox yesterday when the update has been proposed. Now the Add-ons Manager (accessed through the Tools menu) crashes. It says loading and icon spins, but it's never full load. I'm running on a Mac. Thank you.

I fixed that by clicking on the "Extensions" tab in the Add-ons Manager, then again to get the modules.
It seams that get the modules need time to load all the necessary data.

  • The Task Manager will not open in Server 2003

I'm troubleshooting why the Task Manager does not open in Server 2003.  This is an option when I right click on the taskbar, but when I click on it it does not open.  I try to type taskmgr.exe in the command run and it says "windows cannot find taskmgr.exe.  Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. "I found the .exe in the system32 folder, but the same message appears when I double click that.  I'm currently updating the pc with all the updates of windows that I can.  I tried to go to gpedit.msc in user configuration\administrative templates\system\ctrl + alt + del options but "remove Task Manager" not was set up be it, enabled or disabled.

You have posted in forum for Windows Vista operating system. You need to display in place in one of the Server on Technet forums. The usual cause of not opening Task Manager is infection then you need to start troubleshooting with it.

  • I just installed FF v6. Now, the Addons Manager does not start - it just says "Loading"... "forever.

I'm trying to manage my Add-ons. When I run the add-on Manager, I just get a "Loading" window... "forever.

Click Extensions, appearance or Plugins in the left column of the screen of the Add-ons Manager.

    • The problem is that the display of the Add-ons Manager, at the opening of the first time, is on the "Get Add-ons" and which must be downloaded onto the modules server which is currently overloaded due to the users and the update for Firefox 6 process, updates.

If you need to look for new modules, go directly to the website of modules and use the search box on this page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/

    Hello

Try to enter Subject: addons in your address bar and opening this link. Does it work?

Otherwise, it might be an extension causing problems, try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

  • The Add-ons Manager does not load

I want to install McAfee siteadvisor, but I can not load the add-on Manager. I have win7 firefox6. I have the program on my computer and it works fine in Explorer.

The add-on Manager is responsible, only that you probably have the "Get Add-ons" Panel selected and ging the loading icon. Just look to the left and click on the Extensions and if return you to the "Get Add-ons" Panel later that it should load.

The Panel "Get Add-ons" can sometimes load slowly in the view of things addons.mozilla.org, especially on the first start, probably because of two people looking for extension. / theme updated with recent versions of Firefox 6.0/3.6.20, 2.3.0/2.3.1 6.0 Thunderbird and SeaMonkey and recent change on addons.mozilla.org

  • After upgrading to 6.0, the Add-ons Manager will load all the data. It is said it loads, but nothing ever happens.

After the upgrade to Firefox 6.0, when I click on tools, then on Add-ons, modules lance Manager and tells it to load. But nothing is ever loaded.

This could be simply addons.mozilla.org getting hammered at times as people are looking for updates of the extension as Firefox 6.0/3.6.20, Thunderbird 6.0 and SeaMonkey 2.3 was released Tuesday today.

Simply select the Extensions or Plugins or appearance (themes) and it will open this Panel next time instead of modules to get Panel.

No change in safemode, just charge permanently.

  • Protected dmg will not open, even with the RIGHT password

I created a password protected DMG, and now this record does not, although I am sure that I use the password. After entering the PW, I get a message indicating that the password is incorrect: ' try again - please enter the password to access the [FolderName] .dmg files»     Yesterday it was fine, and I use it every day from the folder.

Yesterday I was accessing the DMG over LAN. Perhaps a corruption that happened then. The password does not also work on the same Time Machine recovered file DMGs, be saved.

Other messages, I understand that using the console to get a newspaper might be useful, so I (think) I don't have that. What I believe to be the relevant lines produced when I tried to open the file is here:
