Once opened, nothing in firefox works. Bookmark Bar do not load, cannot open options, add ons. Does not open in either safe mode.
I restarted my computer last night, when I opened firefox afterwards, it just hangs. I can't open a web page, I can't open the options, my bookmarks do not appear until I have clear display, and then enable, but nothing loads. I can't close firefox unless I go to the Task Manager to end I sent 2 reports of bugs under that email address. I cannot open in SafeMode in now shift clicking but could under the? menu. No change in safemode, just charge permanently.
Know and other programs on the internet are working very well.
Windows 10 pro 6300 AMD 6 core CPU, 16 GB RAM 64 bit OS Norton 360 (have had on and not changed for years).
Let me know what other information might help.
Thank you!
I wouldn't call it a problem solved, it was not fixed, I just deleted everything and started around.

I loaded a bunch of Add-ons and extensions in Firefox. Since then, when I close and re-open Firefox, change my bookmarks toolbar menu. They are all still there, but their location on the menu bar change tool. Example, I keep the most used where they are visible on the front of the tool bar, but to re - open, they are everywhere, but visible and probably near the bottom of the toolbar drop-down list is looooong.

Why my bookmarks bar will not display its elements
bookmarks bar is not displayed. by clicking on the button bookmark shows that the items are listed under the toolbar, but tried to uncheck and recheck display toolbar bookmarks, but not joy. They all used to display with the "overflow" listed under an arrow on the side (?)
If the menu bar is hidden, then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key to make the call of menu bar.
Make sure the toolbars like the toolbar 'Navigation' and the 'personal bar' are visible: "view > toolbars".
- Open the Customize via "view > toolbars > customize.
- Make sure the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" are on the personal bar
- If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the bookmarks toolbar, then FRY it in the toolbar palette in the window the bookmarks toolbar Customize
- If the missing elements are in the toolbar palette then drag them from the window, customize the toolbar
- If you do not see an item on a toolbar in the toolbar palette and then click the button "Restore default" to restore the default toolbar set up
One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

all of a sudden a few weeks ago, I can't have on firefox. It crashes immediately on startup every time anything and journalist accident happens. I studied all the articles and followed their suggestions. I installed the latest version of firefox and still get the same results. I can't even open firefox in safe mode. I don't ' know what else to try and really need my favorite browser back and all my favorites and passwords...
Since I exhausted all angles throughout January and early February, I can't really identify what makes the difference, but today... IT WORKS NOW! Firefox has been removed from my computer for a few weeks now, so with renewed determination I searched all single folder on my entire hard drive and found 3 random files with mozilla or any part of the word inside mozilla and erased. I turned off the computer and restarted a few hours later. I downloaded firefox 10 (still higher version than the one I was updating of a month) from google chrome and installed it. so thank you for your comments and help!

I've been running Firefox v. 18.0.2 and for a few days the application continually crashes whenever I open it. I am currently not able to enter in safe mode and it happens to all profiles on the computer. I went through and updated all my Add-ons, but the problem persists. I decided to re - install the application by deleting all the configurations that have been previously configured. I also tried to delete the entire folder to % APPDATA%\Mozilla. Up to this point, I am unable to get Firefox running.
Try to remove the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile.

Heather, not sure I can help, I'm not a Mac user, but I'll have a look at the crashIDs that you provided.
Update:
- Crash report ID: [6326058f-1fca-4d4d-a080-af8902120119]
- signature: TFont::CreateFontEntitiesForFile (const char *, bool, TSimpleArray < TFont * > &, bool, short, char const *)
- Crash report ID: [69534b6f-7662-4c09-bf2e-39fff2120104] signature as above
There are very few reports recent crash with this signature, they could even be your plant. If you follow the suggestions in the article I linked above there is not much that can be done easily. You should try discount the possibility that the cause is malware by scanning with several updated tools.
Malware controls
Have you seen and followed the advice- Fix Firefox problems caused by malicious software
- the first step trying to detect malware, a typical suggestion is this message from the-edmeister /questions/914980 #answer - 302372
Clean reinstall it
If you find no malware, it can be interesting to try a new re - install and a clean profile, none of them are simple and must be done with care, so first try malware scans, those who will take a while to sort.Rather a last resort: fill out a bug report
If you are ready to try to answer the inevitable questions and have an email account anonymous, that you can use for recording, you can follow the link from the report above and click on 'report' to create a bug report on the crash. - Crash report ID: [6326058f-1fca-4d4d-a080-af8902120119]

Firefox crash when starting open only in safe mode?

The good news is that if it opens in safe mode, there should be a fix or a workaround. Your accident is linked to the use of graphics acceleration so turn off that should prevent accidents. Maybe update your graphics drivers will actually solve the problem.

To disable hardware Acceleratoin
As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems. You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).
Then perform the following steps:
- Click on the orange top left Firefox button, then select the 'Options' button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to tools > Options.
- In the Firefox options window, click the Advanced tab, and then select 'General '.
- You will find in the list of parameters, the checkbox use hardware acceleration when available . Clear this check box.
- Now restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
In addition, please check the updates for your graphics driver by following the steps in the following knowledge base articles:

I have a windows 64-bit computer that is running Windows 7. In recent months, Firefox has been crashing on opening - opening occasionally on the profile of my husband, but not mine. I now use IE9 running as administrator but would prefer to use Firefox.
I can't adjust the settings, plugins etc that I can't open the program at all. After the first attempt, I go to the Task Manager and stop firefox.exe. Then when my next attempt to open I get the error again. I sent off the coast many reports of incidents at Mozilla.

AustraliaHello
I found my profile.ini for Firefox file by using the information in your message *http://kb.mozillazine.org/profiles.ini_file. There were 2 profiles in the ini file, so I deleted one and kept the other one who had the same name as the folder profile and saved the ini file. Bingo-test - Firefox works! I think the graphics card driver update helped also that IE works properly now as well. Thanks for your help.

Switching between the tabs, playing GIFs, play YouTube videos, type some text, and open the menu of Firefox are sometimes lag.
For example, sometimes when I click on a tab to view it, there will be a delay of one second before its content is displayed.
I tried Google Chrome and it doesn't have this lag. My computer is powerful enough.
I've tried safe mode, but the problem was present there, too.
I tried to empty the cache, but not luck.
I don't know what else to say, so if you want more information, please just ask! Thank you.
I tried this and disable the Manager of Session add-on and Firefox seems to be back to his usual quick self.
