  Option to disable Lightroom depends on which version of Lightroom, it is.  Anything prior to version 6 did not have a mechanism of deactivation, so there is no way to disable, or duty.  Just install on the new machine and activate with your serial number.

  Is there a way to show similar emoticons to below in any application other than BBM? I'm trying to find a way to make the keyboard show the same emoticon as option below.

  If you have a BB10, you can see once you try to change your status in your profile.

  

  So, you want an entrance sign of the emoticon?  This isn't something built-in, and you definitely have to create yourself.  Its a little difficult to get all of its States working with the keyboard's up/down, but it can be done.

  Basically, you need to create a component with a ListView with a GridListLayout.  Then, in the DataModel for this list, you provide all string patterns that are mapped to the emoticons (":-)) ",") ", etc.)

  Each ListItemComponent must be a container with an ImageButton control (which only shows something in a hurry) and a label with its content bits defined so that it can display emoticons.  In this way, each element of the grid displays a character different emoticon.

  I hope that makes sense.  It is not something simple and will take a fair amount of work.  But it can be built.

• I wiped and recovered from my CD of my operating system to windows XP due to a virus, now my system XP is SP1 (version 2002) and needs to upgrade, how can I get the old updates please?

  I am operating windows XP, but it is more difficult to download anything, I can only assume its because my system recovery disk brought me originally pack 1 and missing essential items in my system which is used to enable automatic updates to work to get my system back to normal.

  Preliminary work:

  Download the installation files of SP3, IE8 and Microsoft Security Essentials, which is an effective antivirus/antimalware program. I prefer to keep these (and other useful files) on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links to all the installation of three files:

  1. physically disconnect from the Internet. Also unplug all unnecessary devices!

  2. temporarily disable the automatic updates. To do this:

  Start | Control Panel (switch to Classic view if not already selected). Automatic updates

  Select "Turn off automatic updates" and click OK.

  3. install the SP3. Restart TWICE.

  4. switch to IE8. Restart TWICE. (Note: it is important to let IE at the level before the upgrade to SP3 IE6.) After you are in SP3, then you can switch IE6 to IE8).

  5 install MSE.

  (What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).

  6. make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should already be):

  Start | Control Panel | Security Center

  (Now you can physically reconnect to the Internet. Update Antivirus program.)

  7. visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates. Restart each time you are prompted.

  8. reactivate the automatic updates.

  I will say this however, you should be able to boot, XP has to load all the files and it should crash at the point where the dialog box indicates "Setup starts Windows.

  If you don't even get that far, something is wrong.

  Install XP using your XP installation CD and use a USB FDD and install the driver Intel Series 7 in this way. It's like I always do.

  Hello, I am trying to add a PDF download featured on my site and don't understand how using Business Catalyst. It seems that I would need to download the PDF file on the BC server and make a hyperlink to it in Muse. But I can't find where to download it. At least, the link is http://mysite.com/mypdf.pdf, no?

  An overview where to put the actual PDF - or if the address of the link above is incorrect - as always, would be always so appreciated.

  An easier alternative would be to use the file-> add files to the download option in Muse to publish your PDF files (or other assets) at the remote site /assets/ folder. Additional assets would be also visible in the active panel. You can then simply linking to individual files as http://mysite.com/assets/mypdf.pdf.

• Pages VERY slow to load from Firefox 6.0 download. How difficult or reinstall the old version please!

  As I downloaded the latest version - Firefox 6.0, I have some serious slow loading of the page. Nothing has changed in my PC or network configuration and in the past had a very fast loading everything, even the streaming of videos, etc.. The only thing I found in your help on pages loading slowly, it was something about a proxy Add ons question - but I have just activated. It seems to be worse when I submit a form-

  Try to clear your browser's cache.

  Tools > clear recent history... - details and of course Cache hit only is selected, and then select all and click the clear now button.

• Adding alias from the old account

  I got a Xbox account for as long as they have been around and when I had Windows 8 but I did not know that accounts be would articulate so I screwed up and made the 2 accounts.
  Now that the related accounts are gone I want to combine. I have my Xbox on an alias of junk mail and I got my real email on a live account that is never used. For clarity, none of them are areas of Microsoft.
  So I deleted the account with my primary email address. When I try to log in, it says that no account exists with this e-mail address. Perfect. But when I go to another account and try to add my real email address (from the account that I closed) he said e-mail address is already used.
  How can I add my e-mail address (from the account I deleted) to my account as an alias. Surely this email address is not stuck in limbo?

  I got mine fixed. Make sure that the Scot you want to use is closed and all links to your current account are deleted (mine was set up as a linked email address). Here are the best - you have to wait 30 days now to the email address that you have closed to shake out of the system. Best I can say that Microsoft does not release an address as being available until in this month has elapsed after it is closed.
