  3 base language must be AMERICAN or U.S. Language_code SELECT | ',' FROM fnd_languages WHERE installed_flag IN ('B', 'I'); -> U.S.

  I installed Linux - x 86(32bit) vision and improved 12.1.3 successfully. After the upgrade, I want to activate the Arabic language.

  I followed two or three threads but got confused as to apply the version of the basic language of NLS for 12.1.1 or go directly to 12.1.3.

  1. from Oracle Applications Manager, open the License Manager and activate or change your base to a new language.

  2. starting at AD Administration, run maintain multilingual Tables (AD Administration Main Menu > Menu of entities maintain Applications database).

  3. run the translation sync Patch (adgennls.pl) utility. .

  4. When you receive a notification that it is available, apply your Patch synchronization of translation (TSP) for all languages, that you have requested.

  5 install version 12 NLS help, if it is available (option).

  For step 3 do I still need to run the adgennls.pl?

  Can someone give me an idea brief abt this? and if they should be done in case of Vision too?

  My question is that I have updated 12.1.1. for 12.1.3 and now I've decided to add Lang Arab that I must apply the patch version basis for Arab first i.e 6678700_AR (12.1.1) or should I go with 12.1.3 patch (9239090_AR)?

  You could do the round trip. Who are

  1. apply the hotfix 6678700, 9239090 and adgennls.pl

  or

  2. run adgennls.pl and apply the Arab patch once for all (patches not included in 12.1.1 and 12.1.3 12.1.1 + 12.1.3 + remaining)

  The basic concept of adgennls.pl is to find the translation for the English patches patch. For example, if you have applied the fixes 1,2,3,4 for American English. After running adgennls.pl oracle patch will give you the Arab patch for 1,2,3,4 patches.

  Is it mandatory to run the translation synchronization utility?

  Is not mandatory. But if you applied a fix for US English this fix works only for English interface.

  I went through the steps that contains generating manifest file and get a patch custom from Oracle.
  
  Here, we take the additional license of Oracle to add these languages?

  I looked for the patch and I've found zip R12.2.2 ORS as the latest version file. So I installed it but it does not work very well.

• R12.1.1 Vision isn't installed, no set of environmental parameters

  Hi all
  I just finished installing R12.1.1 Vision on Oracle Linux 5.7. The installation completed successfully and can't seem to connect to forms of self-service ok.
  However, I noticed that none of the environment variables has been defined that is $ORACLE_HOME.
  I'm new to linux, so not sure how to source/run/set these variables in the files of approx. And to that extent, including EPS files to use.
  Can someone sat down with this? Basically, I need to know the command to set the variables of environment from the files of approx.

  It does not matter. However, I would recommend that you install NLS 12.1.1 then upgrade to 12.1.3 (Basic + installed languages).

  VCD Version 5.5 latest

  vCenter 5.5

  VCDDB - SQL

  I created the environment with two profiles of storage for the first time and it's work well (the storage profile created before I joined the vCenter on the VCD)

  Argh it's frustrating! I never noticed that the key was not working in InDesign.

  A bit of research and it turns out that the MS Office has this as an option in their software. But I can't find an option in the InDesign preferences to make it work.

  However, somethings do not appear in the shortcuts and preferences and are hidden triggers in InDesign that are accessible via a script.

  I'm not saying that it is possible to activate the button insert by using a script, but it is plausible that he can be activated.

  PDF, GIF and BMP are not the types of files supported for Lightroom.

  However, there is a plugin available that will allow you at least these files from the catalog, it is called Anyfile: any Lightroom Plugin file

  (1) we made a fresh install of R12.1.1 (Vision) on Windows Server 2008 R2 for demonstration purposes at the senior management and upgrade planning. Running on 11.5.10.2.
  (2) installation went fine. We follow all the necessary prerequisites for installation.
  (3) after the installation, we did run autoconfig for DB as well as the APPlication and started services.
  (4) we are able to see the page of connection, but not able to connect using generic accounts of OPERATIONS/WELCOME or SYSADMIN/SYSADMIN.
  (5) send the document screenshot and a newspaper for your perusal. Please provide your e-mail id. Not able to attach here.
  
  Please help us with diagnosis and solution.
