  I currently have these two monitors running from my Mac Pro (early 2009 model), both outputs standards, including the mini display port:

  Acer P223W (1680 x 1050, input VGA)

  AOC 2250W (1920 x 1080, D - SUB and VGA inputs)

  I recently inherited this monitor:

  SONY SDM-E96D (1280 x 1024, DVI - D and HD15 inputs)

  What is the way more economic (and simplest) to get a Setup three monitor?

  I use it for music production with logic X, games etc. Third monitor will not be used a lot, so don't want to spend more than necessary.

  First of all, I'm quite new to Hyperic. I only got it up and running for a day now and I must say I am impressed if done well for developers!
  
  This is my problem:
  I have a number of Cisco routers that are SNMP v2 enabled and configured. I know that they can give me SNMP values because I currently use CACTI to monitor and chart of their statistics. (Running IOS.)
  
  I'm slowly moving away from cactus to Hyperic (and); That's why I want Hyperic to monitor servers and network devices.
  
  I can easily add servers in Windows 2K3R2 no problem and I am currently monitoring services MSSQL/MYSQL/APACHE 2.2.x for now.

  I don't use a FULL domain name for our routers so I just add the IP address of it.
  I select the platform Type = Cisco IOS
  I choose the Hyperic Agent on the Hyperic Server (so it will read 127.0.0.1:2144)
  
  Hyperic adds the router correctly.
  I click on MONITOR and click Properties of the router configuration
  I add the string SNMPCommunity (I know works like its used with Cacti)
  I'll leave the v2c SNMPVersion
  And let interfaceIndex ifDESCR (I tried all the options ifname, ifalias as well)
  The SNMPPort, I leave as 161 (I know it works as it works with the cactus).
  I click OK
  
  I wait a few seconds and Hyperic bounces an error failed:
  
  The configuration has not been set for this resource due to: invalid configuration: error communicating with resources: unable to connect to the SNMP Agent (v2c 127.0.0.1:161, < my snmp community string >)

  indicates that you has not changed the router default ip 127.0.0.1 to the actual ip address address.
  Please go to your Cisco 2700 platform-> inventory-> Configuration properties and to adapt the 'snmpIP' to your needs.

  I have a hp pavilion model s5310f with windows 7.

  I am trying to connect two monitors to my system using a powered by usb 2 port VGA splitter.

  the problem I encounter is that the computer is not picking up on the fact that I have to the monitors hooked up.  When I go to appearance and personalization - poster - resloution that's not recongize there are two monitors attached to the top of the screen. Assumed to be an element of the line indicating 'several screens' and it isn't here. However, two of them work they reflect just between them. Could you please help me with this diagnosis? I monitors, separator or a problem of outdated system?

  Any help would be wonderful, because I am at a loss.

  Both of the above positions are correct. Your form (here) show that you have only one video output.  In order to have two screens you want (extended mode), you will need to do this: adding a monitor using a HP USB graphics card.

  I just installed Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on a new hard drive on my Dell Studio 540. The PC has a graphics card ATI Radeon HD 3450 and has a Samsung 226bw 22 "monitor on the digital output. This works very well, and has the resolution of 1650 x 4050. When I am running Vista (on the previous hard drive), I got a monitor flat 14 "old on the other out, and it worked fine (although at a lower resolution).

  I added a monitor AOC F22s + on the other output, expecting to be able to put this to the recommended 1920 x 1080 resolution. Unfortunately, Windows has developed the driver for this monitor "Generic non - PnP" and will not let me set the correct resolution. To the maximum it will allow is 1600 x 1200, (as well as all other resolutions it allows) do not use the monitor at maximum capacity, which is the ratio of evil anyway, so the display seems tense.

  I run Windows Update, so have the latest drivers. I tried to install the other drivers, but nothing helped.

  I tried to unplug the Samsung monitor and restart the PC, so that the AOC, one was the only monitor it and he always had as 'Generic non - PnP' with the wrong resolution.

  Someone at - it ideas? I'm at my wits end. AOC support did not understand and could only suggest that the monitor was faulty, but the place where I bought it insist that it works very well and so no Exchange or get a refund (no restocking fee, which is a RIP-OFF).

  I really want to use both screens and would appreciate greatly any help that anyone can give. I hope I gave enough information. If I didn't, please let me know.

  PROBLEM SOLVED!

  It turned out that my VGA cable was wrong and that it was not send the right signal to the computer. The screen worked fine with a VGA monitor, but the PC has not said that the new monitor is a PnP I tried a different cable and it worked fine.

  I am facing a problem with a custom field I added to my custom Agent's primary EPA. The LiveSet agent allows you to monitor the LiveSet (memory used after a full gc) of our application servers and the added field monitors allows us to add additional servers to monitor for this specific host.

  I had some difficulty in setting this up, so I repeatedly tested, deployed and applied monitoring - strategie.xml for this agent, that may have caused the configuration in order to be a little confused.  But in the end, the script is able to pick up the field as an environment variable and to monitor the appropriate servers, at least on agents that allow to edit the field in the section change the properties of the FogLight Console.

  An export of the configuration show that there are 3 separate persistable-config-model elements with different config-id for agent LiveSet. Two of them are missing from the added field monitors . I think that there should be only one entry in the configuration, and this is the origin of the problem for some deployed agents.

  I tried to delete configurations incriminated through a groovy script

  Thanks for your reply. I uninstalled the cartridge and unfortunately configurations 'by default' always appears. Before I go ahead with the name change Agent, is ask you if there is really no way to cleanly remove this corruption of the configuration. I'd rather not stuck with this type of corruption even if it does not affect the stability of the duration of FogLight.

  I managed to clean configurations incriminated with a workaround using the following procedure.

  1. Export the configuration via the command line
     fglcmd.sh - usr - pwd cmd - f util:configexport
  2. Extract all the persistence-config-modelagent LiveSet s in a new control - strategie.xml
  3. Change the config_type of all the extracted elements to test
  4. Import configuration
     fglcmd.sh cmd - util:configimport - usr pwd - monitoring-f - strategie.xml
  5. Run the following in the Script Editor in the Console FogLight groovy script

• 2311 x color balance settings not available

  I just added this monitor as a 2nd monitor (primary is a HP LP2475w-wide gammut monitor I have the monthly profile).  My video card has a DVI-out (main monitor) and a VGA out (for the 2311 x).  When I try to implement controls on screen color of RGB or color temp, to try to match as much as possible to my main monitor for photo and video, they're all grayed out and inaccessible, except for the basic settings (video, text, photo, etc.).  I'm nowhere near a match color with one of those (major cyan cast is the best I can come).  No idea why the advanced color control are not available?  These work only with a DVI connection?  My previous Dell monitor has been connected to the system via the VGA port, and I could control all its color settings.  Running WIn7 64 bit.

  in case anyone else has this problem, I was able to fix the problem by doing a "reset" on the color management, and then all color control options were more is locked.

  I was missing the simplest of things.  When you add a touchscreen for a desktop you need to consider a number of things.

  1. the touch is active via the USB interface.  You should use it because it is HIDDEN what support.

  2. it is also better to use a display port interface.  DCI is limited in its resolution and more support touch FHD or WQHD which is the best support via displayport

The only refresh rate, I get is 60 Hertz. I've updated the software chip intel and toshiba also... I would like to know - is it possible to get more than 60 Hertz. The only way is to get 85 Hertz is adding external monitor. I have now oportinity to get at least 75 Hertz, screen refresh rate? It has been possible with my old HP Pavilion ze 5000.

  As far as I know, this value is fixed and you cannot change it.
  Even if you update the driver, it is not possible to increase this setting on an internal display.

  Just added a monitor flat screen.  Print jobs, they are in the queue, have demolished and tried again.  Turned and on computer nothing changing.

  You cannot manually remove the afflicted printing when the Print Spooler Service is running.

  If you have jobs stuck in your print queue that you cannot delete (for some reason any), you can just delete them manually, but you must first stop the Print Spooler Service, the button delete print jobs and restart the Print Spooler Service.

  Here's how:

  To clear the print queue, stop the print spooler service and delete all the jobs/print pending.
     
  You cannot delete all print jobs in the queue so that the Print Spooler Service is running.
        
  To stop the Print Spooler Service, click Start, run and enter in the box:
         
  services.msc
         
  Click OK to open the Services applet.
         
  Locate the Print Spooler Service, right click and choose 'Properties' and then click on the "Stop" button to stop the Print Spooler Service is running.
     
  The option "Startup Type" of Service properties print spooler is usually set to "Automatic" (which is now a good time to check it out).
     
  If the "Startup type" is not set to "Automatic", set the "Startup type" to "Automatic" If that is your desire (which now is the time to check it out).

  Do not try to start or restart the Print Spooler Service immediately.  You must remove all print jobs backed up first...
     
  Then, delete all updates pending upward and forward to printing from XP.  If they do not print before, you will need to send the to the printer again.
     
  Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder or copy / paste the following line into the start, run dialog box and click OK to open the folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):
     
  C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
         
  Delete all the print jobs in queue (select and delete all the files) in the folder if the folder is without waiting for print jobs.  The folder must be empty when you are finished.
         
  Reboot your system and look in the Services applet again to check that the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically on reboot (given that the startup type is set to automatic).
     
  After the reboot, check again the Spooler Service for printing and the 'Status' column for the print spooler must be read "started."
