  Hello.

  This has also been posted in the community: forum Adobe Muse Bugs.

  I had some odd/irregular problems but they have now become fairly predictable in nature. The question is regarding Adobe Muse (2014.3) and the availability of the web fonts provided through the functionality of the applications 'Add Web fonts '. Once added to perform as expected, then they become "unavailable." Details below. Was a complete creative cloud Subscriber for a few years, so I am quite familiar with the way the system works less some problems that have arisen at the time, including.

  System information:

  Adobe Creative Cloud (full subscription): Version 1.9.1.474

  Adobe Muse: Version 2014.3

  OS X Yosemite: 10.10.2

  Here's a summary of what took place. I will detail the bug as best as I can.

  
  

  1. creation of new Adobe Muse project. Everything is normal.

  2. has chosen to add a new font using the function 'Add Web fonts' in the Muse. A note, my creative application of cloud's race / open at all times (in the mode of file synchronization).

  3. has chosen the new fonts to help above. Everything seemed well (see screenshots below).

  

  4 fonts were also indicated as being "synchronized" in Creative Cloud (screenshot below).

  

  5. as expected, the two fonts have been added to the list of available within the Muse Web fonts (first screenshot below - left). I added the successfully on my site. Well after that a number of hours, I went back to the same menu of selection of fonts within the Muse and the fonts was still visible but the submenu that you'd expect showing various forms (bold, italic, etc.) was not available. In a sense the police could not be selected in the list even if the name is clearly visible second screenshot below - right).

  

  Have no idea what can be wrong. Saved the Project Muse, closed, and then reopened - nothing has changed. Created new project - fonts always menu 'shows', but cannot be used. Find a vague description by using Google to a similar problem (different application) which recommended Creative Cloud Desktop App closing and reopening as a possible solution. It WORKED at first, but the problem, well fixed for a period of time (a few hours at most), will reappear again where we would see once again still not being able to choose two Web fonts. Went up to the Cloud to uninstall then reinstall Desktop creative application. Still not solved the problem.

  Any thoughts as to what this may be would be welcome. Restart the CC application whenever fonts are no longer available is quite a lot of time for my workflow.

  Thanks for confirming. Yes, we are aware that some users are facing this problem, but have not been able to replicate this internally. We're going to keep studying.

  Some forms that I am rendered using LC FormsServer were not available on my LC Server, so I added the directory configured as my LC fonts directory. But the forms that use these fonts still does not render correctly. Do I have to restart LC or something like that so he can recognize fonts, I added?

  Yes, you must restart LiveCycle for them to load.

  Problem - I 270 fonts installed in the C/victory/fonts folder but CS4 displays only fonts of ~ 120.

  Is there another method of getting CS4 to access all the fonts?

  Have followed with more related posts on this forum, I have not yet found a solution.

  Hi Chris,

  I think that you are tying to use the features of web fonts self-hosted in Muse. To do this, you need the formats of web fonts (.woff, .eot etc.) in addition to install fonts system.

• Adding After Effects CS4 CS4 Design Premium

  Hello Adobe community.

  We have Adobe Creative Suite CS4 Design Premium for Mac, which does not include an After Effects CS4, I discovered. I found the download link for this in the downloads section, but of course, it will fail to activate with CS4 Design Premium serial number we have.

  I did not need after effects CC or any new version, after that Effects CS4 is one that we need - is there no way to buy a license or serial number just for that?

  correct, there is no way to purchase/license any product pre - cs6 Adobe including ae cs4.  you will have to buy a 3rd party and try your luck buy adobe cs6 (or subscribe to cc and 'rent' your cs6 and/or adobe products cc).

  Hi, I don't know exactly how fonts are managed in windows, but sometimes the main use of the fonts folder will not help. Lately, I have had success copying the fonts in:

  C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\Adobe\Fonts

  they would then be available in the menu fonts in Illustrator: you must pay attention to their extension .afm, OTF .pfm...

  When I created a new list of fonts, some have had quotations around them.
  The list has been

  I had to remove the quotes to make effective policies.

• Still empty fonts doc

  Trying to follow a recurring mistake in a frequently used ID doc.

  Reduced to a faulty police (Trixie)

  I have now deleted all the items that I can find in the doc, I checked all the styles, but when I do a search the font this font is always on the list.

  This doc can be opened on one of our 18 Mac. Blocking all the others and, above all, a PDF file can be produced, nor can the doc sent by WebSend (this is a local installation of publication).

  Where this policy can be hidden?

  I know that we could start a new doc from scratch, but some existing items to be imported (several!) and I'm trying to follow the one who it might be.

  I played with the file here, and he certainly seems to be corrupted.

  It doesn't open any in CS5, application crash, but opens up with missing fonts in CS4. Selcting and remove all unused styles leaves behind him (planned) standard paragraph, body text, title main and secondary Headline, of which none seem to use the Trixie, although it shows as well as Standard Bank-book is also absent on my system, which is the police in styles. Body text uses this font, and the two title styles use other weights, although they don't show missing also.

  All this leads me to think there is a corruption of internal database which is not serious enough to prevent the opening of the document, but is severe enough to prevent something that requires to work with fonts or styles.

  You mention that it is a document that is frequently used. Do you mean that it gets frequently revised? In the past, including Pagemaker and to a lesser extent with Quark, doing things like a magazine by the same recycling file - deleting unused content from point to point and by adding new - has ultimately lead to the corruption of files at one time. ID is much better, but I would still discourage this practice, if in fact it is your workflow. It is best to create a template with your styles, swatches and repetitive content file and use it to make a new file question every time. Since the models are open as a copy, and each question becomes only the second generation, the chances of a problem are greatly reduced.

  I can't STAND having to create new styles each time I want to change size of font etc.

  CS4 does not ALLOW ME (gdmn there) to work the way I want to work. Go figure.

  You won't see anywhere to enter this information in the HTML property inspector. Dreamweaver CS4 does not support the tags, except in Code view. Obsolete W3C tags is ten years old, then CS4 has decided to get rid of them from the main interface.

  If you want to add styles to a small selection of text, you have two options:

  1 create built-in styles in theof the page.

  2 create new inline styles.

  Both are made by using the property inspector using CSS (click the CSS button on the left). Select the text that you want to style. How and where the style is created depends on what you select in the target rule box.

  If you select , then you can select the font, size and color in the property inspector. Once you choose one, you will be asked to choose a class name and the location of the new style. To incorporate the style in theof the page, select "this document only". The class name is displayed in the target rule box, and you can add other values to it.

  If you select in the field of the rule target, you can apply one of the properties in the property inspector. This envelope your text with a selection tag that contains the CSS properties as an inline style, for example, the text drawn.

• Why so many Asian fonts?

  I understand that Apple has a big market, but to select the mother tongue is the first thing necessary for selection during the installation. I just added fonts 20 or so custom that I need for my new MacBook and decided to disable the non-English characters (Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc.) that I don't need, because they simply take place of the menu and are an obstacle for fast scrolling for the fonts that I use. I guess there's a reason, but I have just disabled 117 fonts non residents who get in the way of my ability to quickly access the fonts I need when scrolling.

  Which means don't not to sound xenophobic, but why this still require a deactivation of fonts fonts (I can not turn off even a group that I selected, there must be line by line) when I can choose what variation of English spelling and pronunciation when typing or using Siri? The user seems hostile. I don't lend my non-English computer to knowledge Word, so there is no demand for such flexibility in my world.

  I'd like to see Apple create a quick check to turn off all fonts that are not native to the language of the user. I guess I'm not the first to feel irritated by that. Any one know who can explain this to me? Thank you.

  the answer to your question is in your opening paragraph.

  Window OS works the same way, the fonts are required by the operating system for a number of reasons no matter what your preference habits or native computer are.

• Add more fonts to aft of post-it from the sidebar.

  Is it possible to add more fonts to the pad of post-it in the sidebar?  The current policies that are proposed (all three of them) are too large.  I want to make them smaller then 9 points, preferable 6 points.  Is there a way to do this?

  Unfortunately, the gadgets do not come with many features.  Unless adding fonts is listed in the menu (and try right click and left-click), then the option is not available.

• The 'Pro' fonts are losing black and Light versions during the upgrade to El Capitan

  Adobe software - it's great. Unusual to have a problem, but I have a. I often use the pro fonts because they are equipped with a wide range of variants - not just "normal, bold and italic" - but "light, normal, medium weight, fat, black, condensed and italic. During the transfer to El Capitan, all variants of light and black people of all the fonts seem to have been laid. If Adobe asked me, I would have these fonts returned to me :-) Anyone know a solution?

  You should look to see what are the versions of these fonts are available as part of your subscription to CC through Typekit. In InDesign CC, CC Illustrator and Photoshop CC, you can click on adding fonts Typekit option in the Type menu to start looking. And look for hundreds of other policies as well.
