• Create lines in a web page

  I don't see lines used much, then maybe it's not easy / possible in web pages but.

  I wish I had something similar to a chart on a web page (family tree). Can you create lines, bits of sentence / word in the beginning of another? Or... am I limited to using keyboard characters _ for the horizontal lines and "|" for verticals and possibly / / /------for lines of angles?

• Problem adding worksheet Excel to Web Page

  One of my users has a problem when she tried to put an Excel worksheet in Contribute. She first gets a message that she "selected a voluminous document that may take a few minutes to import" and Contribute is so as it works, but then she finally gets a message "a script in C:\Program Files...". "Commands\PMScanners.js worked a while." She is using Contribute 3 and tried to copy/paste and insert an Office document. The spreadsheet is about 30K.

  Well, we figured out how to make it work. Instead of trying to insert the worksheet or the copy/paste of the entire worksheet, we have selected cells specific (all of them in this case) and then did a copy/paste. Strange that it would not work in other ways, but at least we got the data in the web page.

  Planning version how you? If is the 11.1.2 +, you simply drag and drop the dimension of the line of the page area (in gray are where the 'Page' is written.

  My web developer has created a home page and when I open it on my PC with IE6 or IE7 I get lines across the images when viewing with Firefox, they do not appear. My developer uses a mac and did not see these lines with IE7. the site to open is www.barmah.net.au

After the last update, I see 4 websites because the train at the top of the page all moves down and no longer has room for 2 rows.   In fact, that they are viewing a copy of the page from the server, which has been downloaded in their browser cache file when they arrived at the page.

  If they click on a link, they will do the same with the page target of the link.

  I am writing a small site for a friend and his band.  He has no knowledge of computing either.

  I wrote the skeleton of a page so that it can add a place, date and time of when the band will play next.  He does this by creating and downloading a file of text of the word indicating, for example. "June 11, 2015 at the cellar Bar.  On the Strip at 21:00.

  Is it this registers in a .txt of the Word file and then download it on the server, I want to add a line to the web page that calls the .txt page text and displays it on the Web page.

  Any ideas?

  This does not happen in IE. But it happens in Firefox and Safari. I'm a graphic designer so I have daily adding images to a Web page and so automatically the images before pushing down. The problem started when the extended below Web page content.

  Don't forget your footer items are marked as a footer element and that your text box is not.

  Right-click on the components and check or uncheck the footer element

• Adding links to a Hypertext address web Pages video

  It's so frustrating!

  My wife spent a whole day, design of a document on the Pages to be converted to a PDF file for the job. Once it was full, she needed to add hypertext links to various other Web pages.

  1. you cannot add hyperlinks to pictures (!), she has found a workaround which is to copy a text box above the image, but it's far from ideal.

  2. she could not add a hyperlink video, i.e. of the www.blahblah.com/video.mp4 to all the links, you can choose only the web page or by e-mail!

  Does anyone know a work around for adding video links to a pages document?

  This has been fixed! Thank you... With the exception of adding links to the images thing, it is just missing from Pages!
