adding music files

I managed to put 10 songs in a file named military music. When I try to put 10 more in the same file with the same numbers he asks me if I want to eliminate the other file with the same number I say no! When I try to change the file name on the second it is said that it will become unusable if I change. I've done it before, but

currently I did not long, I forgot how.

D.T.

When you rename the files... don't forget to include the original extension...

Example:

A12345.MP3
B12345.MP3

The omission of the extension is more that probably the reason why you see the "unusable" dialog box

  • Added music files but nothing appear

I am trying to add all my multimedia elements on the hub but seeing a question that I don't know what is happening.

I added about 900 films and videos, and they have indexed that I was adding them and they appear in the browser, but now I add music and I'm their adaptation in the music folder but nothing is displayed in the browser.

I can see them all when I go to the file browser, but nothing in the side media server.

Any ideas? When I'm done, I need to restart it? How can I get the ITunes thing to do its thing?

    Thank you

    Hi Spudnuts,

I think you are right in what you may need to restart the media center, so it will re - index everthing.

  • cleaning iTunes music files on my new PC for Windows 10

Hello, I've been a customer for many years iTunes and that you have now more than 1500 music files in a variety of folders to iTunes on my PC Windows 10. In fact, the number of unique music files is about 750.  I moved all my mp3 and m4a files unique to a single folder.  I also removed the 01, 02, etc. in front of the file names. I would now like to load only the music files in this folder in iTunes.  I intend to do what follows to do this:

    1. Uninstall iTunes on my PC for Windows 10
    2. Delete all iTunes music files
    3. reinstall iTunes
    4. Use 'Add file to library' pointing to the unique music folder

Please let me know if it will work.

Also, I have an IPod Touch and an IPod.  I intend to delete all the music files on each, then resynchronize both after the above and expect that the number of music files on my PC and the IPod Touch will be exactly the same.

Thanks, if you have any advice or I would need other information, it would be greatly appreciated.

You don't need to uninstall/reinstall iTunes.  If you delete the folder structure (default location C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes) iTunes library then start iTunes it will create a new library and invite you to scan your PC for the media.  I suggest you answer "" at this prompt.  Make sure that the folder that contains the media you want to add are not in this folder structure.

Then check the settings in Edit > Preferences > advanced and make sure that they are as follows:

    1. It's the location that iTunes will use when adding new media
    2. This imposes a canonical file and file naming schema, as follows:

where your media files are systematically named - songname. ( prefix is provided only for the albums of multiple discs.
    3. This ensures that all the media is found in the structure such folders as specified in paragraph 1.

Now use file > add folder to library... to add cleaned to iTunes support.

Given that you have created a new iTunes library, existing media on each of your iDevices will be automatically erased and replaced by which it your new/updated library up to date.

Once everything is done and you have checked the results, create a backup of your iTunes library - see your iTunes backup for Windows with SyncToy library for a method suitable/recommended - and regularly update in.  You can also remove the folders containing media files that you added using iTunes file > add folder to library...

11 of WMP LOVE for music! - But storage is full in XP to a PC the Syetem - external hard disc Segate 1 System. 5 t office. Let the Seagate nursery copy my music file to drive C (new) F Drive. Added to the location FDrive/My music for WMP monitor & removed from the location of drive/C. WMP acknowledged the location F/disk/My Music (new) & listed music but not of ALBUM. I tried the INFORMATION of MEDIA to APPLY - failed - tried the FIND ALBUM INFO & UPDATE ALBUM INFO-kind of worked but apply same info Album to 3-4 different records artist. Renounced this place of MY application, deleted and removed from f-Drive music. Tried to drag the folder music from the disc C to F - disk - started OK with 1 artist folder-2nd & 3rd but on 4th record combined all files in the folder 1 and missing album artwork. Won't no matter what futher deleted MY F-player music file again and started reserching problem on Support MS and Segate support-not much info in the problem of location of ether, however in the Support found MS ID of Article: 92576 - YOU cannot transcode DRM-protected media in WMP 11.  All my music is WMA - DRM format - SEVERAL CONCERTS! -do not know if this format has nothing to do with the problem?

I m confused and do not know what is on the extension of my storage and the WMA DRM format. Please give advice on how expand storage, format WMA-DRM, to maintain and use Windows Media Player as I have in the past. I tried other music media but have found nothing better than WMP-(donc pour)

The files are in WMA format, does not mean that they are protected by DRM. In addition, transcoding, conversion from one format to another (for example during synchronization), which is not relevant here.

In WMP, please go to Tools - Options - Library (press Ctrl + M, if you don't see the Tools menu). Is music to reorganize in rip music folder checked? If so, uncheck the box and click OK. Then try to move the files of music again. It works correctly now?

  • Music files are not listed in the Windows Media Player library

Music files were deleted from Windows Media Player. The need for a Solution.

AT & T Communication Manager, who gets my mobile internet card online, asked if he could deal with some updates.  I had only had the camera for a few days and assumed he was talking about some AT & T software.

Next thing I know he turned my internal computer to the outside.  Washed and folded it carefully but seems threw things into the pockets now.  I had to hunt for my documents, but a lot of things are different, changed my toolbars, settings on Open Office.  Cannot access some files.  He was asked to record a program I had a lot of time.  Nothing in the Windows Media Player I had the program adds a big chunk of my record mp3 files music.  But I think that much of the music in my eMusic account, which now has nothing in it, can be conveniently added (unless I'm going one by one I think).  Moreover, my eMusic Download Manager is empty.

I want to reverse sync my mp3 player but don't know how.  Should I get Windows Media PLayer 11?  I have Vista.

Thank you very much.  And if you can help without talking over my head I would appreciate it.

1 are the music files on the physical hard disk?

Step 1: If music files are present on the hard drive, then we can manually add the files to themedia player library or create playlists accordingly.

Step 2: If the files are not deleted permanently from the hard drive, then restore the computer to an earlier time should help. To restore the computer to an earlier time when everything worked well, try the following steps.
    a. Click Start, type system restore in the search box and then in the list click on the system restore program.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
    b. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
    c. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
    d. click Finish.

    a. in Windows Media Player, on the Tools menu, click Options.
    b. on the Player tab, clear the files of music to add to the library when played check box.

I don't remember adding iTunes for Windows Live Photo Gallery, but they're stuck there and will not allow me to remove them... and on iTunes... these music files move no matter how hard I try!

You must move your iTunes library to a non-default location

  • Windows Media Player cannot see the music files, but Realplayer works perfectly - what is happening?

I am under w7 pro on a laptop, after the death of my desktop pc. After transferring my music files, I found that wmp is not working properly, although realplayer works perfectly. I prefer wmp, but it simply doesn't. The symptoms are:
    1. it shows all media in the library even if the music library is full of music when seen with explore.
    2. If I select a file in Explorer, it will play in wmp and is added to the library, but no other files cannot be added.
    2. library management does not work because after pressing 'manage libraries', then 'music', nothing else appears.
    3. There is no sheet set for extraction of the files (just a white in the location box) and 'change' has no effect.
I tried the troubleshooting fix, which simply says that my mediaplayer library is corrupt, but nothing else.
I also tried to remove appsdata/microsoft/mediaplayer files and even entire directory after checking the tips from microsoft on the net for another user. WMP is
supposed to automatically rebuild the library and start again, but she just starts with a library empty unless any of the symptoms above are fixed.
I understand that wmp cannot be uninstalled and reinstalled, if anyone has any suggestions for my next step? As I said, the music library itself should be fine as Realplayer works very well.

Your efforts to solve this problem is appreciated. Please do not hesitate to answer, in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

  • All My Documents, pictures, videos and music files are does not

All My Documents, pictures, videos and music files are does not and I can't access the files and I did nothing to them but when I try and click on it, it says "music.library - ms no longer works, the library can be removed safely from your computer.» Records that have been added will not be affected. I understand that they won't be affected, but how am I supposed to recover all my files?

    Hey Kwame,

I understand that you receive an error saying music.library - ms no longer works.

    Please answer:

    (1) did you do changes on the computer before the show?

In the libraries folder, you will notice that the icons of the folders have changed to something else. This clearly indicates that Windows 8 libraries are no more work and corrupted.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

    (a) press Windows + E to open Windows Explorer, and then click library.

(b), select all the libraries with which you are faced with a question and select Delete.

    (c) click Yes to confirm.

    (d) after the deletion, right-click on the icon libraries in the left navigation pane and click on restore default libraries.

    (e) in the first attempt, default icons have been restored but if you are unable to access the libraries of Windows 8, delete and restore again to go back to work.

Note: Deleting of a library does not delete the contents of the included folders. However, you need to add or include your folders manually, if necessary.

  • VU-meter with severel bars and music file change!

    Hello

I followed some tutorials how to do a vu-meter, an audio file. That seems to work for me! I added the function to have more bars of one, with a filter passes high and low. That's how I do it.

    Sound bar is ready

    Add the audio file

    Convert audio to keyframes

Then I add the filter passes high and low on different audio amplitude, which seems to work. The bars are moving different. That is to say it will generate keyframes after, is that correct? (1) ?

Now, my problem is, I would to add different music files, but with 20 bars will take much time, make new keys amplitude images every time, is there a way to do this, now it seems that it generates keyframes after (possible to add sound filters after generation og audio keyframe)? (2) ?

I hope that someone can confirm 1 and 2 to answer!

I think you have high filters and going down before converting audio into keyframes.  In this way, it will create keyframes in the desired frequency range.
