  AppData is a file provided by Windows which must appear in your Windows profile folder in C:\Users\username.  Various programs (and Windows itself), create files and folders in AppData.  You don't want to remove it.

  However, you can hide it again.  In the profile folder where you see AppData, click Tools > folders and select the view tab.  Under "hidden files and folders", click the box marked 'do not show hidden files, folders or drives', and then click OK.  You should see is no longer at that point of AppData.

  Not sure if I'm going crazy, but I swore that when the layers were added to a folder that they would automatically go to the bottom of the stack. It seems that in the current versions of layers photoshop, added to a folder appear at the top of the stack. Is - this newish? Is there a preference or a shortcut to increase this behavior? I prefer a lot it to appear at the bottom of the stack.

  Based on the reviews on this subject in the next version of PS (no ETA I can share, sorry), you will be able to control the behavior with a keyboard modifier:

  (1) (no modifier) fall on the group will place on top of the stack of layers in the Group

  (2) (shift-output) fall on the group will be at the bottom of the stack of layers in the group.

  But at the present time, in 2015.0.1, only (1) is available.

  The "sudo" commands will prompt to enter your password, and there do not appear to come back. You can also see caution against improper use 'sudo' and the potential loss of data due to an "abuse" of the order.

  Firstly, the estimated file size just an estimate based primarily on a combination of bitrate and duration. The actual size can vary considerably, in large part on the amount of change from image to image throughout the video. For example, if you encode two clips for a period identical to exactly the same settings, the only difference being the nature of the content - say on is an interview with talking head shot with the camera locked on a tripod, while the other is images skateboard turned into pocket - size of the two files of outputs that result will be widely divergent.

  As for the comparison between CS6 and CC2014, note that the settings for the presets have been changed. For example, YouTube 1080 h.264 presets ranged from 8Mbps to 16.

• Prefixing 'My' in front of the folder names, Explorer causing bad paths

  I have an external hard drive with three folders and seen in the Windows Explorer, they are named 'Documents', 'My Music' and 'pictures '. After that WMP began failing to find the music on my drive, I removed and added the folder to my library and noticed the road now omitted the 'ma' - 'H:\Music '. Of course, a list of dir in a command window shows not 'My' in front of one of these folders.

  What is the problem? These are not associated with my current user account, but is there some other baggage that makes the names are not displayed correctly? Any suggestion why the Documents folder is not affected in the same way? It has already forced me to recharge my library of music once - should I just change names from folder to something like "Musik" so that Windows don't screw with it?

  I suggest you rename the files to my music etc. on the disc.

  If the problem persists then I suggest you scan the computer for malware infections or viruses and remove all infections, check if it helps.

• In bookmarks, I have several files. Bookmark help says to drag a new ontop file in the folder to include. However, this does not work.

  1. Yes I know. I posted a picture in my first answer, demonstrating how to do this in the sidebar bookmarks that you said has not worked for you.
  2. So, I asked if you could add bookmarks with the 'star' or using right-click > bookmark this page to be sure you can add bookmarks by other methods.
  3. It's not possible drag button the identity of the Site to the folder using the 'star' or right-click > Bookmark this method on the page, because, by design, the Add Bookmark dialog window closes when you click anywhere outside the Add Bookmark dialog window.

  I have thousands of bookmarks and hundreds of folders and subfolders and have no problem with one of the methods for you. My preference is to drag the identity of the Site to a folder button in the sidebar.

  In earlier versions, with the menu bar, you could also drag the identity of Site for the word "Bookmarks" button in the Menu bar and continuing to hold down the mouse left click button, the drop down bookmarks would be open, then continue dragging the bookmark in the menu drop-down to the folder of your choice of bookmarks and releasing the mouse left click on the record button to your choice.

  Hi, this is how things went wrong: I tried to restrict access to a folder on our server by using the permissions denied, file security.  When I try to locate the file for other machines connected to the server I can not see it now, which is kind of what I was aiming for. However, I am not sure what I have done because even though I can see the folder by using the server machine, I can't actually access.

  When you try to open the file I get now: \Accounts documents refers to a location that is unavailable, it could be on a hard drive on this computer or on a network. Make sure that the disc is inserted correctly, or that you are connected to the internet or to your network and try agaiun. If it can't be located, the information may have been moved to a different location.

  When I right click and try and go to the tab Essensials in this folder, I get: the required guarantee inforamtion is either unavailable or cannot be displayed.  Help please!

  Make a right click of the folded or drive and go to the Security tab

  from there, click on add and put the user in the list.

  There's a box of permissions under that and he has a complete list of control; MOIFY; reading and execution; content of the file; read; To write... Select refuse on everything. That should do it.
