  1. Desaturate the layer of glass.

  2. make two copies of the glass layer, desaturated. Disable all three eye visibility for these layers in the layers palette.

  3. turn on the first glass desaturated layer by clicking on the eye in the layers palette. First glass desaturated layer place (an image directly above) in blend mode screen. 100% opacity. If the glass has a hole, use a layer mask or erase to drill a hole in the desaturated layer. The levels command to set up the glass so to taste... use push black cursor Grays to black and use the middle gray slider in the dialog control to transition between black and white. You can also set the white slider if you wish. Note: If you have added a layer mask, click the desaturated picture glass to ensure that you use the command levels on the image, not the mask.  (Tip: shortcut on PC for levels is Ctrl + L on Mac Cmd + l.)

  Note: If you need a hole in the picture, it is easier in Normal blending mode. 100% opacity. Use the Quick Selection tool if you have a version of items that includes this tool. If you have an older version of elements before the introduction of this tool, the wand should also do the trick.

  Note: If you punched a hole in the glass, save this selection, so you can reuse it. Select

  4. go in the first copy of desaturated glass (one directly on the one you made to step #3... you should have one above it) and turn on his eyes the visibility in the layers palette.  As previously, the value this screen blend mode layer: 100% opacity.   If you don't have a PES 9, you can either use the eraser to delete what you don't need or use a clipping mask or clipping group. (Same thing another name.) PSE 8 and 9 PES call it a clipping mask while all older versions of elements called it a clipping group.

  I'm looking for any reflection on the contribution of a glass effect button semi transparent please.

  I've been playing with this for awhile in FW and still not get the look I'm after.

  I'm designing an arty site that has a lot of gray with large images. Rather than use words to nav around the site, that I want to use images, nothing new there and loads of time however did that on this site I would use a button transparent semi which is clear'ish and then changes color slightly when you click it.  I can make the mouseover in flash so that isn't the problem. I am not fan of buttons.

  In short;

  Someone has fun ideas for a glass button semi transparent which could be used to nav around a site?

  I also need to "tone" it with a color when mouse over.

• How to export in Quicktime with a transparent background?

  I export my Keynote animation as a Quicktime movie, I want to import into photoshop and then export and animated GIF that I will put on a web page. The challenge that I have exported my speech with a transparent background. I set the background of a color with zero transparency but then the bottom just goes black and rest throughout the process.   I want to fill two interfaces for example: eth0/2 and 3/eth0 and configure an IP address / network while leaving the ASA 5510 in routed mode. I know that this is possible in transparent mode, but I need to keep this in routed mode. I know I could configure a single interface and connect a switch but my client does not want to do.

  Otherwise, my only thought would be to configure each interface eth0/2 and eth0/3 as a network traffic and the route of subnet separate between the two.

  Any help would be appreciated!

  That would help us answer you better if we understood more about what your client and you want to accomplish. But to answer the specific question you asked, I don't think it is possible in an ASA5510 in routed mode configuration Eth2 and Eth3 to share a single IP address.

  Linking to Eth2 and linking to Eth3 Are they really the same subnet?

  RAW formats do not support transparency THAT DNG is the right choice to start. That and, of course, your choice of format should / will depend on how people are able to open your file, which means that it will take TIFF, PSD or PNG. You can create transparency in a variety of ways using playlists and so forth, but really, it is something that you can just read the help or watch a tutorial on the Internet. The rest is irrelevant - even if you provide the file with transparency, it does not automatically mean that people will not need additional measures to actually use the transparency information.

  The bottom of my document is an image. I am trying to add additional photos on the bottom, and these have rounded corners. I followed the instructions to make the canvas of the transparent rounded images, but when I applied to them, the background of gray/white checkered (I thought she was transparent) shows ON the background image.

  Without more information, it seems that your additional photo layers are not actually transparent at the edges.  How, exactly, do you create them?

  It might help capture your screen showing the layers panel when you see the problem (for example, when the grid appears above the background).

  Here is one of the many ways to do something thing like what you want:

  1. use the rounded Rectangle tool and the options set to create a path in the appropriate part of one of the images you want on top.

  

  2 convert the path into a selection.

  

  3. copy the pixels in the selection.

  

  4. make your background images in the current document and paste the pixels copied on the bottom.

  

  5. move the new layer created by the operation of collage to where you want with the move tool.

  The attribute 25 (it's called 'Class') and set its value to UO = MyVPNGroupPolicy where MyVPNGroupPolicy is the name of your group strategy in the SAA.

  I'm having issues using the bevel and Emboss layer on my text styles. I'm a look almost banding Ford of staircase on the bevel. He does it with any setting. Very sensitive to the chisel hard setting. It looks almost like lines are beveled. This could be the cause?  Thanks for any help

  This could be the cause?

  Normal behaviour - because it's pixel-based, it uses thresholds to determine which "extruded" get semi-transparent pixels and those who do not, finally reflecting these patterns of pixel in the final result. This is a limitation in addition to these effects and any additional operation that introduces some semi-transparent pixels more intensifies the problem (for example, the 3D with filtering layers). Some tools such as RevisionFX' shade/shape additional code to rebuild the edges and do a better job. In any case, based on your image, even that is perhaps not good enough. You simply push IMO too far. What you seem to be really would be much better with the right 3D geometry. If you can't and don't want to spend money on a plug-in, your best bet is to create a demo with the guy as much as possible, apply the bevel, then the scale plug your main computer. When the downward revision, at least a part of the streaks is interpolated, and so the result is smooth...

• Get my photo library to update on my phone and computer without itunes

  I'm trying to find the best way to have a photo library tidy on my computer and on my iPhone without using iCloud photo library. Because I expect to have more images over time, the ideal solution would allow me to have a selection of the best pictures on my phone.

  I understand that I must sort, delete, and edit my photos on my iPhone just before I import it onto my mac, other than on my iPhone, am I right?

  I think I have to do is:

  (1) import pictures on my mac using photos and check the box "Delete imported photos.

  (2) synch that some of them back to the iPhone via itunes (for example the ' Favourited' ones)

  It seems weird I have to delete all of my iPhone first, before putting (some of) their return. What is the solution?

  But what will happen if I delete them import? I have duplicates: iPhone original ones + the 'synched via itunes ones?

  Furthermore, if sometimes I think about my iPhone before importing a few photos from the iPhone to the mac, will be those imported in the last/not yet photos deleted?

  Photos the photos you take with your iPhone are in the camera roll album. You can edit, share, etc.

  Photos that sync you it to your iPhone using iTunes are required separately. You can't change unless you save a copy of the film.  And you cannot import photos iTunes sync for mac easily. In addition, it is not possible delete photos synced directly on the iPhone. You can delete the sync again and omitting the photos that you don't want on the iPhone.

  How you manage photos on your iPhone better will depend on the amount of free storage on the iPhone. If you don't have any storage space and not to edit photos on the iPhone and just want to discover your Favorites, import pictures on your mac, check, if the import went well, then delete them iPhone and sync with iTunes.

  If the storage on your iPhone is not a problem, remove photos from the iPhone every time you need to free the storage after their recording on the Mac.

  The "delete after Import" is risky. Avoid it. The problem is that if Photos crashes when importing for some reason, your photos may be lost. They will have been deleted from the iPhone, but does not appear in your photo library. Or if some of the pictures has not transferred properly, you can't repeat the import. I would wait until you have checked the imported photos and made the first backup of your library, before deleting the pictures imported from the iPhone or the card.
