• 9144 with FPGA and SGL EtherCAT custom user-defined Variables?

  Hello

  I currently have a small instrument driver (rs485) running on a chassis of 9144. The output values are communicated to the master EtherCAT using FXP numbers. I would like to pass these FXP to SGL, since I've upgraded to SP1 2012 LV with FPGA now supports numbers of SGL.

  Is this possible? I tried several times to create the Variables defined by the user of SGL in the project, but the date type is gray.

  Unfortunately, SGL is not a data type supported for communication to and from a 9144. The types of data available for the I/O user-defined variables are:

  * Fixed point
  * Signed integers (Int8, Int16, Int32, Int64)
  * Integers (UInt8, UInt16, UInt32, UInt64)
  * 32 bit field
  * Boolean

• What are user defined variables (UDV)?

  I'm trying to debug an application in real time and have worked on known issues for LabVIEW Real-time 2011. There is a term called "user defined Variables (UDV)" that opens occationally document known issues with other documents. It seems that UDVs can be created under target FPGA but I am unable to find any useful information on them. I know only local, global, shared, single, variable IO process.

• Extracts & user defined Variables

  After ~ 5 years not working not with any what HAT, I started a new post on 28/03/2016 and put back the trial HR 2015 a spin. I'm very excited by what I see and were able to do so far.

  I have 3 'entities' to write and I created 3 pages, one page per entity.

  Each of these presentation pages, I have this first line:

  This section describes how to enter and manage [entity].

  |

  I set each [entity] as a user-defined variable. Each page with this sentence I hard-coded and added a reference to the user defined Variable and then produced output. Works great.

  Now, I'm going 'down' a level. What I want to know is how to

  be a code snippet. I want it to be an excerpt because when I write a sentence better, I don't have to make the same change on each of these presentation pages. Finally, there are 19 pages of presentation.

  The reason why I want it as a snippet of code is because I don't want to have to maintain "this section tells you how to" text hardcoded on each of these presentation pages. I would like to take advantage of the functionality of content reuse to avoid a bunch of copy / paste or even find / replace.

  But what you might want to consider, is another variable to contain the desired text in the code snippet. This could be inserted inline. Then update you only in the variable.

  Is it possible to change the value of a variable that is defined by the user in RoboHelp 6? If so, please describe.

  After you change a RoboHelp project, I want to update the value of a user-defined variable, but I don't see any way to do this.
  
  BACKGROUND
  My PC is under Win XP SP2. I use RoboHelp 6 to create a HTML Manual. I have several subjects; each topic has its own model. A common feature of each model is a version number. I inserted a variable defined by the user to the version number in each model. RoboHelp pushed successfully this version number to all my subjects.

  If you double-click on the user defined Variable in the project manager, you can change the default value here. I think what you want but is a different value for different generations. In the first page of the wizard when you build there is a button of Variables, you can change it there is for this build.

  You can create different configurations for different versions and each will retain its own value. Craig Clarke wrote an article on what will soon be published on the Adobe site. Hope this helps until then as I know that Craig, who has more knowledge of this area, is currently on holiday.

  I have deployed an Application in OSH where the doors of the web are installed. In OAM 11 G, I created the Userid as OVD store and created policies for that. and I was able to protect the application.
  
  But authentication works very well for users of the OID. But does not not for users of the AD (saying ID user and password are incorrect)
  
  Part of the OID, AD with TPM. but the AD authentication does not work.

  Hi Kiran,

  Check that the name attribute of such user as defined in the Data Source is mapped in TPM attribute AD that you plan to hold the user name. Perhaps, it is use usrprincipalname instead of the samaccountname, or something like that? The oam_server1 - diagnostic.log, or newspapers OVD, may give more clues as to which is the problem.

  At the risk of looking like an episode of Seinfeld, there is a red dot on some of my variables defined by the user, does anyone know what this could be?

  The red dot means that the variable is set in the defined variable. Without the dot variables are in the variable defined the same as in the definition of the default variable.

Today, I opened my project and noticed that the variables are all normal color text. Is it possible to get them to color again?

• We have an account of teams CC but apps aren't up-to-date for 1 user and applications for users are really buggy

  We are a small studio. We bought CC teams account for 3 computers.

  2 of the CC work well, but for a user (the person making the purchase and the owner of the company) receive no updates in the control panel of cc for adobe applications. It was only the major updates to 2015 but never gets smaller updates as other users.

  In addition to this, all its applications are really buggy compared to other users.

  Anyone know why this might be?

• Fields for users defined by the user

  I created several UDF files via the "User Configuration" tool in the advanced console. I see these UDF every time I create a user, but later, when I select the user to edit their information with the account Xelsysadm, none of them are present (despite them being visible). These areas are important, because two of them are related to their date of birth, and the third is filled with information in the form. I go on creating these files UDF the wrong way? Why can I not see them after their creation?
  
  In addition, you can't have a UDF required unless all users have information in this area? Y at - it a faster way to load a default value, makes a visit at a time.

• BES 10 replacement for user defined rules of politics

  Our application for BES5 used the rules defined by the user to set default values for the application specific user.  From my reading, I can't find the equivalent of the user policy rules set in BES 10.

  Are there alternative ways to create, manage and distribute managed centrally by default for our application on the BES10.x.  By default include the HTTP port used by the application, the port of push and many faults of field level.

  It's a very good question. One that I have been unable to solve since the launch of BB10, unfortunately.
  I discussed the subject with the staff of BlackBerry of the Conference and the Forum (can't find jobs even though I think it was on the forum server, but who can not find as well...), but nothing helped.

  I tested several other ideas, such as the use of a configuration file attached to an e-mail with invocation etc, but for an application to the roll of 1000 users + these things are really not very good.

• What happened to the option of maximum length for user-created variables?

  In previous versions, I got a field to specify the maximum size when you add a new variable. In Captivate 7 this feature seems to be really well hidden, and I'm not.   Sorry, think that you are confused. There has never been a way to specify the maximum size of a variable when you create, because this maximum size is 256. There is always a way to specify the length of a variable when inserting into a container of text (legend or form) and it is exactly at the same place in CP7: when you insert the variable with the X key in setting accordion-shaped, in the dialog box.
