  I have a requirement for the creation of Oracle DB text files that I can achieve by ODISQLUNLOAD.
  But the trickiest part is that I want to have a file name + counter Counter should start with 1 for the first file of the day, then 2,... and reset to 1 for each new date.
  
  for example file0001, file0002, file0003, file0004,... file0100 and so on for a day.
  But when I create a file on the next day, it should be created as new file0001, file0002, file0003, file0004,... file0100 and so on.
  
  I may be able to do this using some variables but unable to think how could I achieve this.
  
  Any help would be appreciated.

  Hello Manu,

  If the files are loads such as being a batch process, for example, by running a single package, you can exercise a loopback function and store the meter as a variable. It would be very similar to the blog here: https://blogs.oracle.com/dataintegration/entry/using_variables_in_odi_creatin - but you would use the #counter variable in the name of your file. Every day that the package is executed, the counter starts at 1.

  what I would do:

  I have a text file that contains multiple entries for files and folders, each on a separate line. I want to dragndrop this file on an automator action, he should ask me a destination folder and then copy all the files and folders in this folder.

  I have my action, automator, set up like this:

  Elements of the open Finder

  Get the content of the TextEdit Document

  Copy to the Clipboard (I have not found another way to keep my text sort file values and let it not be crushed by the following, but it works)

  Quit the Application (TextEdit)

  Ask the Finder items (this requires a destination folder)

  Set the value of the Variable (Destination)

  Get the contents of the Clipboard

  Copies the items from the Finder (at Destination)

  It all works, but only when there is 1 entry in my text file. As soon as I have 2 lines of text, I get the following error message:

  The action "copy Finder items" has not provided with the required data.

  How can I make this work with multiple entries?

  The problem is that you only pass the only element to the copy action (you have copied text), instead of an element for each line (paragraph) in the text.  The solution is to use the action filter paragraphs to break up along the borders of paragraph text, which will give you a list of items.  In addition, you do not necessarily have to use TextEdit or the Clipboard - If you already have a file somewhere, you can simply use the action to combine text files to read the text.

  With the above modifications, your workflow should look like:

  Ask the Finder items  (ask for a destination folder)

  Set the value of the Variable  (Destination)

  Ask the Finder items  (Download text files) - set the action to ignore the entry

  Combine text files  (read the text files)

  Filter paragraphs  (paragraphs which are not empty return)

  Copy the items to the Finder  (at Destination)

  In Final Cut Pro 7, you can use editing > find command to search on used clips in the sequence. See if there is an equivalent command in FCE. Unfortunately, I can't determine that at first hand on my system. (In addition, if you are still interested whereas FCP X, there the so-called Timeline index which provides quick access to a list of markers, clips, effects, etc..)

• Why the FF fix the links click on a text file, but IE10 works fine?

  I'm composing a text file LibreOffice prepare for the publication of an e-book. In this text I incorporated hyperlinks to locations on the map Icelanders for the development system. I replaced these links with Google URL shortener for easy management and use.

  When I test the links with FF as the default browser on this laptop under Win8/64, FF tries to open the pages of the card but stalls with no image displayed. In IE10, however, they work very well. These links also work on FF or IE on Windows 7/64 on my desktop.

  In addition, when I click on the same link listed in my account Google shortened the list of URLS, it works in both FF and IE on this same laptop - only when the user clicks on the link in the doc file. fact FF fail to open the page target card. This is the case if the OL WRITE option 'Ctrl + click' or simply 'click' is specified.

  Doc file: LibreOffice 4.1.x with hyperlinks embedded URL "googleized", usually a clickable link to graphic character after the place agreed.

  I don't know what is exactly the format that you found. I think you should try to use the function Array transpose (from the palette of function table) before you pass the array to write to string of spread sheet function or directly loyal to Terminal son transposes on writing worksheet function and see if you get the desired results.

  I'm using LabVIEW 2009. As I am currently using LabVIEW for my diploma, I'd appreciate any help on my problem. So here's my problem:

  The VI I wrote it constantly reads data out of a VISA Serial Port and the string obtained is saved in a text via "writing text file.vi" file (The "write to the binary" produces additional data (for the most part, 00 s) I don't want to have in my data.) But when I open the text file and try to analyze the data that each instance of 0a or 0D is replaced by 0D 0. If the data is already 0D 0 what would not be affected.

  Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

• CONVERTING SCAN TO ocr TEXT FILE

  I bought recently a new in the Deskjet One 4440.

  I used the disk supplied with the device implementation, and installed the COMPLETE INSTALLATION.

  I can't get the scanned document to save in a text file.  I even went online on the HP website and downloaded the new drivers and softwear nothing helps.

  I have read all the data in the event of problem and discovered that the program does not include the part of OCR program.

  OCR is what converts a document scanned into editable text.

  In the end, I spent an hour and a half (1 & 1/2 hours) on the phone with HP Tech Support.  The technology was very polite and patient, but could not fix the problem either.  Technology has even tried adding download drivers and additional software.

  All to nothing does not.

  It is the first HP printer scanner that I have ever owned, and so far I am very disappointed.

  I never had such problems with more Lexmark printers and a single units, except for the price for replacement ink cartridges.

  I still have a whole perfectly well and operational in a Lexmark, it's just more ink.

  If anyone has an idea of what's wrong with my new HP, I would be very grateful for any help.

  Meanwhile the next reminder of day Technical Support HP in India, I connected to this chat site and found that my new installation of the software does not include a program with OCR.

  I went to the HP website and downloaded "HP Photo Smart Full Program." (C309a)

  I installed it and it fixed my problem.

  I have read many entries on the blog of people who have had the same problem.

• Reading text file issues

  Long the time lurker, first time poster , like the forums here.

  I'm still new to BB development, so my approach may be the issue.

  I am applying for a deck of cards popular (utilities etc.).  I have a text file with the number of card games n, followed by n lines with 3 character code set and then the number of cards in the game.  I'm trying to use it to create a string array and an array of integers with the size of the number of reading games, then read the rest of the values in a loop to their respective indeces.

  I have read several articles on the forums here, and I can't seem to find a way to do it.  I am able to get the number of games using the:

  I presume that your dataset is all text and not a combination of binary and text?

  There is no easy way to split a sequential string of data.  Most people, when you consider a dataset like this, would introduce formatting, such as XML, JSON or even CSV, to make the data easier to analyze.  Since you don't seem to have anything, then I think you're going to cross the characters at once...

  If you use only standard ASCII, then it would be more effective to go through the array of bytes.

  Otherwise put characters of separation in there and look for using some tokeniser.  It is not a standard, but there are whole number (including at least one on the forum of the memory).  In addition I see StringUtilities - you might be able to use one of its features for tokenized your channel.

• Transfer of blackBerry Smartphones and edit text files

  I take a lot of notes, on my PC when I and on my Storm when I'm not.  I would like to be able to transfer text files from my PC to my Storm and be able to open it to make changes.

  I have access to more often figuratively media card out and can I transfer text files from the PC to the storm ok, but I can't see them in Notepad.  To access I have to go to the media, click on the button of the mobile phone menu, select Explorer and then access it (it is somewhat counter-intuitive and cumbersome, it would be better if the file tree is easily accessible at the top level and all files were available).  When I open the file, it does not resemble those of notebook, I can't change it, and I don't see where these MemoPad files to move it.  I thought they would be in the Documents folder.

  Are the files in Notepad, a different format of .txt files?

  In addition, to move files MemoPad of the storm to the PC, like discovery in the storm, I don't see the notebook files to move.

  Buffer positions correspond to the Notes in Outlook (electronic yellow sticky notes). They are therefore also application data - which are usually hidden from direct view of the storm... and the file format is probably owners. Indeed, the BB OS does not work like Windows Explorer... There are things that are simply hidden away and is not accessible.

  I'm on BES - and I can create a block-Memo on the storm or a Note item in Outlook and they all have two OTA sync to another. If you are not on BES, I don't know if the DM software can synchronize them or not (sorry...).

• When the file is saved in windows 7, save the description with the name of the file by the text file

  I need to save files much but don't have time to write the file name and detailed inform instead. When I want to save the file, windows 7 displays the window requires the file name and type. But I need another box that I can describe the detailed information associated file name. This will generate the text file that detailed information with the name of the file.

  It is not possible to save a file without a name. You must specify a name for the file. In addition, you can add additional information in the comments of the file area. You can open the section "Comments" by going to the properties of the file and go to the Details tab.

  (1) why not the time loop trigger? Is expressions of the folklore of the position by default when you open a file for addition? ("a")

  I look through the help of Adobe & advice was to download a previous version of Adobe Premiere Pro 7.2.2 that goes the long side of the latest version, but I can't seem to locate it.

  GET_FILE_NAME will try to open a 'Open file' dialog box on the server, which obviously cannot happen. If you want to use this type of behavior, you must use the function CLIENT_GET_FILE_NAME and WebUtil. Example:

       filename := CLIENT_GET_FILE_NAME('C:\', File_Filter=> 'Text Files (*.txt)|*.txt|All Files (*.*)|*.*|', dialog_type=> OPEN_FILE);

  In addition, it seems that you try to use a mapped drive ('U'). Although this can be made to work, it is not recommended and in some cases is not supported. If you need access to remote files, you must use another mechanism to put the file on the local computer before handling.
