  I have an application in which I write in a text file.  I use the function "Write to a text file" to write the text and "Reading a text file" function to read again.  My problem is with the end of line character.  The text that I write is a long chain, not an array of strings.  While building this chain, I insert the constant EOL of the palette of channels function to indicate that a new line is planned.  My tests showed this EOL constant values of consecutive bytes 13 and 10.  After writing all the text in a file, I can open the file with Notepad, or Word, or something else, and it is displayed correctly.  When I read he returned with the function of text file reading, I'm trying to parse the string by searching for the same constant EOL, but it does not work.  A closer examination of the extracted string from the file reveals that the value of end of LIFE has changed for only 10.  The location of the byte to 13 disappeared.  I know there is a note on the writing of the function of text file add/change the EOL characters, which are the default values of the system, but the note specific tables.  I manually put the value in the string.  Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

  The function converts all characters in end of line break characters online platform, dependent unless you right-click the function and remove the check mark next to the menu item Convert EOL .

  Right-click your reading and uncheck the EOL conversion.  I recommend to do the same thing to your writing to text file feature.

• Record French text to speech as a mp3 file

  I need to save French speech synthesis in the form of MP3 file I save and reproduce on my iPad or iPhone. I know how to make an MP3 file as a track to iTunes from a text file on my MacBook Pro, but I don't have access to my iPhone and iPad now. I searched online and the App Store for solutions but did not get to what either. Make a record of my own voice with the voice recorder application does not have a track quite high quality.

  I used the Voice Record Pro for these purposes with great success. Can export the soundtrack recorded in a variety of formats, including MP3.

• Conversion of metadata Script in Soundbooth or first in a text file...

  I was so excited to know that I could transcribe the words of video interviews in script using Soundbooth and Premiere Pro.  It is not perfect and sometimes I have to change the words to fit what the speaker.  However, I would like to be able to copy the transcription of a word document.  I can copy each word individually in a word document, but it is tedious and not my idea of good time management.

  Is there an easy way to copy/convert the script of metadata to a text file or a Word?

  If you right-click in the section "Transcript of speech" Panel metadata, you can select COPY ALL, which will copy all

  transcript to the Clipboard.  You can then paste this into your text editor.

• Problem reading text file

  CVI programmer for several years, but it has been awhile. Trying to read in a text file that displays fine in say Notepad. The first line of text in the file is:

  All temperatures in ° F.

  If I use the scan function, say:

  public static char cdum [2048];

  ScanFile (DataFile, "%s > %s", cdum); I get these results:

  cdum [0] is - 2

  cdum [1] is 65 (which is the ASCII character 'A')

  The rest of the cdum is all zeros.

  In a hex editor in decimal display grouped by bytes, the line is:

  0 255 254 65 0 108 0 108 0 32 0 116 0 101 0 109 0 112... as the display looks like

  ybA.l.l.. t.e.m.p.e.r.a.t.u.r.e.s.. i.n.. °. F....

  So I get the scan function is to see the start character, then by pulling the 65 and placing in the location cdum [1], then strikes the character 0 and leaves the function of scan as she found an end of line. Trying to read in the entire line and the subsequent data float line, but is not serious, I can understand that our after I get over the initial problem above.

  Can someone help me with this? I have no problem reading in ordinary text files, but this one is as it is grouped in words rather than in bytes. Have you tried a bunch of different Scan function modifiers source and target [xt0, w #, etc.], but nothing seems to work.

  I downloaded your file, it is opened in Excel because of its extension and the settings on my computer. I then wanted to save it as a text file normal to see in Notepad and read with a simple C program. In doing so, Excel told me: some features in your workbook may be lost if you save it in Unicode text.

  This is consistent with your observation of 16-bit data.

  LabWindows/CVI, unfortunately, does not support the Unicode character set and functions of the library operated at only 8-bit characters.

  So I would say to convert your file to 8-bit characters; You can also support the pursuit of the Unicode support in CVI here

• You can convert a voice file to a text file

  I used before Vista speech recognition capabilities, however, I recently bought a digital recorder and the system will only allow me to download the file.  Is there a way to convert the voice file downloaded in a text file?

• Access denied, need permission to record a simple text file

  I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7600.  This pc is a pc private home with no one else having access or all other user accounts.

  Even something as simple as change, then by recording a Notepad text file is not suitable.

  Things, I tried to solve this problem:

  1 taking possession; It shows that I am the owner
  2 set the permissions for the 'total control '; shows all the boxes ticked in permissions
  3 set my profile only on this pc to be called w/admin Admin privileges
  4 - Set the slider all the way up to minimum level UAC
  5 used "control of userpassword2" to disable login by username
  6 tried to set sharing to other users; was not allowed to do this.

  I was able to save/edit this text file, while in Mode without failure.  However, when I login to my account the singular admin, I am not allowed to save a plain text file.

  I read extensively on this issue as well as snobs "admin" who think that I should not have full control of the files/folders that I have control over.  It's my pc, and if I accidentally ruin, then so be it.

  UAC is an understandable feature for Rookie pc users.  However, the option should be there for pc users experienced changes on their personal computers without harassment by Redwood.

  Rant aside, does anyone have a real solution to a simple text file can be edited and saved without going into Safe Mode and connecting to the main account?

  If you log in using the hidden Windows administrator account, you should have no trouble.
  1, log in using your normal account
  2, open the command line by right-clicking on the icon and run as admin.
  3, type "net user administrator / Active: Yes" and press enter
  4, log off your user account and when the login screen appears you should now see a new admin logon.
  5, once connected to this account, you should be OK to change your files.
  6, before closing this admin account back to the cmd prompt and
  Type "net user administrator / active: No.»
  7, sign out, then work I hope.

• Reading text file issues

  Hi all

  Long the time lurker, first time poster , like the forums here.

  I'm still new to BB development, so my approach may be the issue.

  I am applying for a deck of cards popular (utilities etc.).  I have a text file with the number of card games n, followed by n lines with 3 character code set and then the number of cards in the game.  I'm trying to use it to create a string array and an array of integers with the size of the number of reading games, then read the rest of the values in a loop to their respective indeces.

  I have read several articles on the forums here, and I can't seem to find a way to do it.  I am able to get the number of games using the:

  I presume that your dataset is all text and not a combination of binary and text?

  There is no easy way to split a sequential string of data.  Most people, when you consider a dataset like this, would introduce formatting, such as XML, JSON or even CSV, to make the data easier to analyze.  Since you don't seem to have anything, then I think you're going to cross the characters at once...

  If you use only standard ASCII, then it would be more effective to go through the array of bytes.

  Otherwise put characters of separation in there and look for using some tokeniser.  It is not a standard, but there are whole number (including at least one on the forum of the memory).  In addition I see StringUtilities - you might be able to use one of its features for tokenized your channel.

  cellcli offers similar to sqlplus coil features:

  But if you try to add a script, it would be easier to simply execute the command line:

  Also look at the dcli that allows you to run commands cellcli on one or more cells of a compute node.

  Wow, we can stop there. I imported a clip of my GH2 test, draggged in the Panel of the sequence (which is the proper name for this window?), clicked on it and it turned dark blue, went to window > metadata ... Analyze is grayed out. The music video plays well, but will not be analyzed.

  How can I analyze the speech work?

  With the clip selected in the project Panel,

  hit the 'Analyze' button (circled).

  

  You will then get this popup:

  

  Set your preferences, and then click OK.

  Media Encoder will launch and automatically start analysis.

  Once it is finished, close encoder, return to the first and the

  I used Adobe Soundbooth to create a transcript of audio files. The transcript can be output as xml with the word and the time code. It only works if the audio is very clearly spoken and has little or no noise. Words cannot be affected by the filter or run together. It is possible to correct the transcript, but the interface for this is very tedious.

  For another project where we wanted something more on TV captioning. In this case, we have prepared the transcript to hand, broken into pieces and them assigned to a table.

• High Score Table: writing a Simple with Flash and PHP text file

  I'm having a problem getting Flash to work with PHP that I need Flash to read and write to a text file on a server to store data simple name partition for a games Hi score table. I can read the text file in Flash fairly easily, but I also have to write to the file when a new high score is reached, so I need to use PHP to do that. Can I send data from flash to php by POST file, but so far it does not. The PHP file is confirmed that the work that I added an echo in the file that displays a message to verify that the server is running PHP - files were also uploaded to a remote server so I could test them correctly. Flash code is as follows:

  I believe that it sends the variable "myText" in the php file in a variable called 'hsdata' I want the php file to write to a text file. The mytext variable is just a long chain that has all of the partitions and the names in the scores. OK, XML would be best way to do it, but for the speed, I want to just get the basic features of work, so store a shot of simple text is sufficient for now. The PHP code that reads the Flash variable "hsdata" and wrote for the "scores.txt" text file is due to:

  Unfortunately, no.

  It would be a very welcome feature, however, if there is a way to export only the chapter markers in a separate file, not linked to a video file.  In this way we could use with our external MPEGs created.

  In my web app, there is a recording feature in newspapers of calculation in a text file.
  If my application generates a text file with calculation of wood.
  
  The problem is: the size of the log file is attaches to 448 KB. As soon as the size becomes 448KB, the logs are not written on the fichier.*
  Thus incomplete records are displayed with the file.
  
  The original size of logs will come somewhere around 1 MB.

The problem, for example, is that if a subfolder is emptied of files, the list of his previous content is always indicated in the text of the inventory of the last time file that the script is run.   You are on the right track, but set the folklore expressions takes the file reference that you have already opened, not the path text.
