  Hello. I use FF 10.0.2 the address bar does not work correctly. two questions:

  1. When I type in the loc bar, I get a list of suggested sites, but when I select one, rather than open the page it just doesn't insert the http address in the search bar. Then I need to click on the arrow to go to the web site. Links selected in the search used to automatically open bar.
  2. smart key does not work. I have a few pages bookmarked that I have assigned a keyword. Unfortunately, when I type the keyword in the search and then bar press enter nothing happens. Until I upgraded to FF 10.0.2 would have opened the relevant Web page after typing the keyword in the search bar and pressing on enter without extra clicking.

  In the past, I usually kept my search bar on IMDb, since I use that a lot, but I do Google search even more often, so I just type Google search terms into the address bar and hit < Enter >, which has always worked well. However, having just "updated" Firefox about an hour ago, it now appears that selection of search from the address bar is now linked to the selection of the search bar.   You can set browser.urlbar.unifiedcomplete to false to remove the suggestion to visit the location bar page menu drop-down.
  Note that the sound is not really new, but it has now enabled by default in Firefox 43.

  Hello. I'm having trouble with my HP 8600 is not pulling from the correct tray. This is a recent problem that everything was working properly until a few days ago. I have an accessory to two tray with tray #1 used for special dimensions (photos and envelopes) and standard #2 to 8.5X11paper tray.  I have the default to tray #2 and locked bin #1 in my settings (#1 on the top tray, tray # 2 down). However, when I send a print job for normal letter format, he tries to send the job to use the Tray #1. I can get around this by changing the trays, but it is a real pain and much slower. I checked all software and firmware is up to date. I hope someone has a solution for this problem.

  I have seen your post on how your printer HP Officejet pro 8600 does not correct status bar. I'm happy to help with this problem!

  Follow these steps to change the print settings by default for all printing from the desktop of Windows 8.

  1. Right click or touch and hold the bottom left of the screen to open the menu. In the menu, click or tap on the Control Panel, then click on or type printers and display devices.

  2. Right click or tap and hold the icon of the printer () for your printer, and then click or tap Print Preferences.

  3. Select your new default print settings, and then click or tap on OK.

  Source: change of print settings (Windows 8).

  I would use these settings to set the default to tray 2 for plain paper. So if you want to print to Tray 1, you can change the settings manually. Or, you can add the same printer again in the devices Panel and printers and together this is the default for Tray 1 for specialty paper and rename it to 8600 (Tray 1) as an example.

• Vista search does not work

  No matter what I do, I can't find Vista to work - most of the time, the search will not find the files I'm looking for, although I can see them at the top of the list of files in the directory. I rebuilt the index multiple times with no improvement in the service. In another case, the search will find only files created in October 2009 (that is when I started using Vista), but specific searches do not work in other files, that I moved all the files in this folder to another folder and the result is the same, even if the file is renamed to something different. I also noticed that, in some cases, research fails to recognize a file named re and get back a result if I search the name of the original file (even if the file name has changed significantly).

  Simply, research of simple file names which I am accustomed to years of XP do not bring the results I need. I have same useless content search function at all. It was recommended that I find a simple program of research of third party for searches of files, but that's not really answering the question.

  I guess I would rather just turn the indexing function OFF set (that I tried), but it does not appear to improve the ability of Vista to find the files I need.
