ADE all of a sudden, I cannot return a book, or to receive new books

I had no problem with ADE during several years (ver. 2.0.1.78765).  Now, suddenly, it won't allow me to return a book, which gives the following message: "error to return item! Please allow your computer first. "When I go to the Help menu > permission, he says the computer is already authorized and gives the chain of approval.

If I try to put a newly downloaded book in ADE, I get a message that says "error!, check the permission", but it doesn't tell me how to do this.

I recently received a message to say Microsoft I need to change my logon to a local account and then through this procedure.  This could be the reason why ADE no longer works?  If so, how do ADE operational again?

Windows:

Close all applications.

Click Start > run.

Open, type regedit in the text box and press ENTER. The Registry Editor opens.

In the left pane of the registry editor, locate the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept

Select the key of the follower.

Choose file > export.

In the export registry file dialog box, select the branch selected under export range. Enter a name and location for the backup registry key, and then click Save.

Right click on the key to the follower, and then choose Remove.

In the dialog box confirm the key deletion, click OK.

Close the registry editor.

Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize.

Macintosh:

exit the Adobe Digital Editions software.

Navigate to / Users / / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.

  • All of a sudden, I cannot perform a system restore, cannot not to activate the 'sleep', cannot conduct an audit of the disc.

    This all started in the last 2 weeks. Have cleaned the registry with CCleaner and Wise Registry cleaner. Have scanned my system with
    AVG free, free MalwareBytes, SuperAntispyware free, Spybot Search and Destroy, Windows Defender and the free analysis tool from Microsoft. Nothing untoward was found. My computer is almost 5 years old HP Pavilion tx 2000 32 bits. Also, after a few minutes, with each new page that I opened, my chrome browser always opens a new tab and my mouse, instead of scrolling up and down, it zoomed in my window larger or smaller size.

I removed all mail rules and blocked senders and I still cannot receive anything.  I tested it by sending a mail to it through different accounts (gmail, yahoo) so I know that there must be some messages.  I also had people reply to my email that I send to what they do, but I don't get their answers.  I have 2 computers in place, using Windows XP and the other is Windows Vista.  I've never had a problem until now. Any help?

    My server contacted me and told me to check my spam using their webmail account, because it was full.  It seems that when I used the rules of the mail I had clicked on delete from the server, just "do not download".  My spam folder was so full that I couldn't receive.     These error messages can occur if you (or software) also disabled Aero. Aero must be on (and supported by the video card) to play Chess Titans. "192GO should be enough for everyone." (of the miniseries "Next generation jokes")

    4. what happens when you play the same DVD on another computer?

    5. for how long have you been faced with this problem?

    6. the DVD folder that you are trying to play supported by the windows media player is it?
    7. What is the type of DVD that you try to play?

I get a message saying "You cannot add appointments to a calendar that is disabled" the details of State "access denied." ... How is - it happened 'out of nowhere '? How to activate it? It's very frustrating... I searched the forums and Microsoft google the question. I found some results suggesting to either change the registry or download the fix automatically and manually merge in my registry. I tried both with no result. I have event tried to remove the old calendar and create a new one... still nothing. Any suggestions? Help, please!

    Sorry, you have a problem with that.  What type of entry you are trying to add?

    Look at the calendar and on the left side, to half way down you will see a small block that will have something like "NYintelligentivnestor schedule" - there is a small block to the left of this one. To activate the calendar, click on the box to place a check mark in it.

    If there are calendar shown in this block, then go to "file" on the main toolbar and click on "new calendar" - one should then appears in a block with a check mark in the box on the left.

    Trash this stage and re - register. It could be that new file dialog tries to assign a document profile that is damaged or is no longer present on your system. If this does not work, reset the Photoshop preferences. Press ctrl + alt + shift at the launch, confirm with the dialog box that appears if you did it correctly.

    Make sure to save all your other actions, brushes and so on first!

    Shares usually work between different versions, but if certain parameters have changed they may fail right there.

  • The use of bridge in the AE 2014.  Through courses in the classroom in a book.  All of a sudden cannot apply predefined settings.

    Get the error after effects 2014 trying to apply settings predefined in EI... Cannot import pipes.ffx: file not taken in charge or extension type.  I do what says the tutorial.  Go to animate - browse the presets - text - paths - pipes and then double-click.  This process has worked before in the other lessons, but all of a sudden everything stops and an error message.

    This is fixed in the 2014.2 effects after update (13.2), which is now available.

  • Cannot crop all of a sudden in preview

    I was just a preview photo editing and all of a sudden all the files I open already has "rectangular selection" checked. 'Culture' is grayed out. I can't uncheck the rectangular selection or choose another option to change.  I don't know what happened. Someone at - it ideas?

    It may be useful as you mentioned the versions of your operating system and application overview.

    For each preview version I've worked with, you use the "Rectangular Selection" tool to select part of your image, then on crops from harvest to this selection tool. (If the harvest menu item is grayed out unless you have made a choice which you can crop.)

    All of a sudden I can't print from my laptop, wireless or via the USB port.  I get an error message "the printer does not."  I did the dx/repair and was able to print a test page, but that's all.  I would like to know if it would be because of my antivirus/firewall software?

    I use Windows 8 on an HP laptop.  Security software is Norton.  This has never happened before and I "ve been using this Norton subscription for at least 8 months, maybe longer.

    It seems that I managed to solve the problem on my own. Did two things:

    1 set the registry keys determine programs associated objects 'Répertoire', 'Drive' and 'File' to the default values by using the settings found here: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\

    2. If you want to have permissions for group 'Users' to read all these keys in the registry. For some reason any access worked only partly for standard users.

    Not sure who finally solved this problem, but after I had finished 1. and 2. for the purpose of 'Record', by clicking on 'My computer' and any folder works normally for all users of the computer.

    I suspect that some recent installation of program which adds actions associated with these objects messed up the registry. Suspects are Norton Antivirus and dbPowerAmp.

    Normally, when you try to connect safely, sites will present a reliable identification to prove that you're in the right place. However, the identity of this site cannot be verified.
    What should I do?

    If you normally connect to this site without problems, this error can mean that someone is trying to impersonate the identity of the site, and you should not continue.

    This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HST) to specify that Firefox didn't connect safely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

    Facebook.com uses an invalid security certificate.

    The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

    You can check the date and time and time zone in the clock on your computer: (double) click on the clock icon in the Windows taskbar.

    You can retrieve the certificate and check details such as WHO issued the certificates and the expiration dates of certificates.

    • Click on the link at the bottom of the error page: "I understand the risks".
    • Let Firefox recover the certificate: "Add Exception"-> "get certificate".
    • Click on the button "View" and inspect the certificate and the Coachman, who is the issuer.

    You can see more details like the intermediate certificates that are used in the Details tab.

    If you cannot inspect the certificate by "I understand the risks", then try this:

    Open the chrome URI by pasting or typing this URI in the address bar to open the window "Add the Security Exception" and to check the certificate:

    • chrome://pippki/content/exceptionDialog.XUL

    In the field location type and paste the URL of the Web site

    • retrieve the certificate via the button 'Get certificate '.
    • Click on the "view..." button. "to inspect the certificate in the certificate display

    Check which is the issuer of the certificate.

    You can get more details like the certificate chain in the Details tab of the certificate display.
