Try this. Assuming you use Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail. If you aren't the case, ignore this response.

Open Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail > tools > accounts > select your account of gwi > properties > servers.
Under incoming mail server,.
If you have a " logon using clear text authentication " option, click it > click OK
If you do not, leave which are VIRGINS he. Do NOT check the "connect using secure password authentication"

Go to the Advanced tab > put check on BOTH "this server requires a secure connection (SSL)" > OK

My wife takes place also Thunderbird and his e-mail account is on the same server as mine, and she has no problem get by e-mail. I tried sending him an email, and I was able to send e-mails. I opened the Thunderbird error console and there are several errors and warnings listed, but they don't give me a clue as to what to do. I have not recently made changes to Thunderbird, or my computer, so I am at a loss. I will attach a picture of console error messages. If anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards.

  • The field "Incoming mail server" cannot be empty.

It all started with Notes in Mail, do not sync with Notes on iCloud more.

So I tried to delete the iCloud account in Mail and add more later. I did it in Mail and in system preferences.

But now, when I try to change some preferences and save them, it gives me the following error: "the field"Incoming mail server"cannot be empty." The field is well informed, and it is greyed out, so I can't change it.

How can I fix? I've tried signing to iCloud and restart my MacBook etc.

    See you soon,.

I just found the answer myself. I clicked on the Inbox folder, secondary went to 'Read the account information' and changed the behavior of the mailbox there.

Hi, can someone help me with this problem. It happened last Friday. There was problems with internet stall in my area. I had no probs Friday morning. Off the pc turned on back in the afternoon and got this message. I tried an old pc with Windows XP and downloaded emails ok.

I can use webmail, but it is very inconvenient. Everything else works well. I have reset my email accounts, checked with the firewall disabled, but still this problem.

    Thank you

    Hello Brian,.

This message of POP from the server indicates the server is struggling to get the message to your email client.  Since it runs on the Windows XP computer, I remove the account from your Vista computer program and add the account again.

  • Mailing address: change the incoming mail server

My servers have changed and I need to add new servers to my Mail application, but I can't change the incoming mail server: the text in the incoming mail server field is light gray and I can't choose or change. I changed the outgoing mail server and I can now send emails, but reception does not work. The incoming mail server is online and it is the same as the outgoing e-mail server.

Can someone help me and tell how to change the incoming mail server?

Ok. I found help in this thread: cannot not change the incoming mail server

  • Change the incoming mail server?

My company uses a hosted e-mail service, and I've not found a way to change the incoming mail server, if I can use SSL (criticism for unreliable wifi!).  The SSL certificate raises an error to me every time, and I am sure because "mail.domain.com" eventually returned a real certificate for the actual host name.

I managed to change the outgoing server, but if it is not possible to change the incoming server, it is a major part of Palm oversight and should be corrected immediately.  This phone cannot be taken seriously for a user in a company without it.

Someone at - it information that I'm missing?

    Thank you

    Try this.

1 delete the account if you already have it in place
    2. click on add account
    3. in the box enter your address and email password screen select the menu (top left corner)
    4. click on manual set up
    5. change of pop to EAS
    6. 3rd field down is incoming mail server

  • Cannot receive incoming calls

Sometimes. All of a sudden. My phone is in my pocket and someone calls me. I see the cursor that is used to receive incoming calls. But when I slide, nothing happens. Seems that the screen was hung. I remember one day I've relied on the home button and then I could use the cursor and receive the call, but it worked for once. It's boring. I use 6s, latest iOS. Any solution please?

    Hey CoolBrain,

I see that the phone app seems to be freezing when you attempt to drag in order to answer a call. Certainly, this is not an ideal situation, and I am happy to help you get on the path to solving this problem.

Before you start, I would recommend that you back up your device either using iCloud or iTunes using the steps here:

The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support

After you back up your device, try to restart it at first to see if the problem persists when you receive a call. If the problem persists, try the steps here to force quit the application and try again:

Force an application to close on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

If the problem persists after trying the above steps, you will need to reinstall the application phone by restoring your iOS software in iTunes. Take a look at the following resources for more information on this process:

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod settings - Apple Support

Once the restore is complete, try to test "set up in the new" to ensure that the problem does not persist. Once you have finished stable, you can follow the steps here to restore from your backup iOS:

Restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

    Take care.
