  Hello

  I am currently it several different types of values with LabView.

  I have a shot, a few numbers and several paintings.

  Thus, for example, I have a timestamp of the chain, several values of "integer" amplitude of the signal for example, RMS value, frequency and I have several paintings - table of signal, the FFT (PIC and location) values.

  Basically, I'm trying to find a way to write all the values in a single file. I can write all the individual types to separate files (so I can write the RMS, amplitude and frequency to a single file, some of the tables in the other)
  but is it possible to write a string and an integer and a table all in the same file?

  Pointers would be much appreciated,

  Your file will be all text... any format in a table of text, to build as a single table, "table chain worksheet", to write to the file.

  (I'm sure this has been on the forums before... a search it would have thrown upward)

  As you can see - the video works very well in this last example (it's the same hierarchy). But why don't you see the video on my site? You can take a look at the source for staggclan.com on this page and you can see that I'm NOT xreferencing my hard drive and I am referencing an image that has not been downloaded (although I was - you would see at least one indicator 'broken image'). It does not even include space for where this video should be - it's as if he was not yet placed there.
  
  For the life of me I don't know what the problem is. Why is - that will work in a field, but not the other (both hosted by 1 & 1. com)? One who can correctly solve this problem for me will find me ETERNALLY THANKFUL.

  I'm just using DW8 to insert this .swf on a page. Obviously, I had deleted by mistake the "Scripts" folder is published with the course when I put on my server - so - no multimedia.

  Its a long time I have been using DW since now, we mainly use eLearning software rapid development. Gawd how I miss DW. Fortunately, I get to 'play' with it from time to time on the home front and have since updated my 'official' home-homepage which is now showing the video correctly:

• Field name uncreated table but cannot change even in oracle 6i report

  I have an emp information report, I've increated ename field width of 10 to 15 characters in the table and insert the name of length 15 characters in the emp table, but when I ran it report its name of the character 10 showing in the report, I tried to update the width of the name field in the report, but I cannot do the same.
  
  Can someone please help and let me know how can I increase width of name field in the report.

  I know it's really stupid in the reports, but you must use a workaround:
  Open the query and modify just with something wrong (such as adding a space somewhere). This will cause the generator of reports for re - analyze the query.

• Forms to fill out and Distribution: to flatten author text but not the form fields

  OK people, first time posting on this forum, but certainly not my first time looking for answers!  I was quite managed with other issues if I think I myself stumped on this one.

  I created the form fillable 'generic' I'm going to use to distribute to various contacts for some upcoming projects that we will participate in.  Because each project will be different, instead of having to create a new form every time, I hope that with my base model form I can enter various information with the type writing tool and somehow to protect this information to be edit/delete while allowing my contacts to enter their information in the form fields.

  I tried to apply the different variants of security features, but the downside of this is that it does not "distribute" my form so that it can be track with Adobe Tracker.  The only way I can successfully distribute this form for the masses and track responses is if all the security settings of the document are disabled.

  I hope that this logic all how I explain it.  Because the information (not the form fields) on the document sent to the changes each week, I was hoping there would be one easier way other than creating a form to complete for each new.  I'm not an expert of Actions, but it would be possible to create an Action that would "flatten" the text of the type writer only?  That would at least prevent third parties to manipulate or remove information that I placed on the document.

  The typewriter tool creates a type of text box, so that you would select just this box to flatten.

• Programmatically set the size of a table control (not the number of col and lines)

  I am trying to create a little VI, in which the user selects the number of columns and rows in a table, and after clicking on a button 'OK', the table control is displayed in the control panel (to be filled in by the user). To do this, I use the nodes property to the number of columns and lines. I have no problem with that.

  However, I want to "limit" the size of the control table (control of himself, not the dimensions of the table) and make use of vertical and horizontal table, the scroll bars. I want to avoid it is that passes type 100 user and 100 lines and appears a huge table control.

  I could tho this by using an array instead of an array, via the node property "size", but I would use an insead table a table.

  With a table control, you cannot set the display size to be anything other than a multiple of a complete cell.

  If you are limited to a number of lines and columns.  If you want to resize with more control you also need to resize the control within the Bay, accessible via the property 'picture Element '.

  Another option (but seems huge exaggerated) is to place your table in a secondary and set the size of the secondary to the size you need and enable scrollbars for her.  It is not an option that I would choose but if it helps...

  Have it, your description of your user interface sounds not very intuitive.  How the user knows at any time exactly what cell they access if they have to scroll backwards?

  I'm graphic of a data table so that several waveforms appear on my graph of the waveform. The table has 500 lines, but I will not draw everyone, only the first row, 20th, 40th, 60th,..., 500th row. I was thinking of using a loop for to extract the lines, I need using the VI "subset of the table", but I don't know how to configure the inputs. In addition, if there is a better way, can someone let me know? Thank you!

  Had some access to LabVIEW. Something like that? For scalability, you probably want to replace the constant 500 with a function to get array size. That way if the size of your table changes, you will ensure you will always get all the data without modifying the code

  In the attached drawing, you will see that I take control of Table in table form, change the items to help replace a subset of table and then return the resulting table in the Table control.

  I can see my data in "Table of output" and a probe on this thread, but my Table control is empty.  The Table control is 10 columns of 50 lines.

  Can someone tell me why there is no data for the Table control?

  I couldn't see the data because it was out-of-frame.  My Control Panel flashed down a 30 line window and my data was in the first line only.

  Sorry if this has been posted before, I did the search first, but can't find anything.

  Problem is that I have two configurations which are identical and must be ordered by a single vi. Given that they are the same, they are configured with the same sets of parameters so I decided to create a cluster of these and then build an array of clusters. In this way I need to use only a thread and if I need a given parameter I can get it easily from here (or so I thought) and also because I need to see if anything changes I can compare a thread instead of each of the parameters.

  The gui has the list of parameters, then in the block diagram I group them appropiately, using "Bundle name" and then each bundle in a table by using "build the table. Problem is when I have the index in the array for the first place of the configuration and usage to unbundle the parameters I need, using "ungroup by name" (although if I use "Unbundle" the same thing happens) and lo and behol, the output names come from the configuration of the second, not the first.

  Here's the curious thing, though, even if the names are all wrong, that the values are correct. I could live with that, but it's more boring it will be another very difficult user to understand the schema more this is just a proof of principle to test with two, eventually there will be eight or more and who's going to get really confusing.

  Is there a way to get around this? Even if it is to change the names after unbundling.

  I think you forget an important point on the tables.  The only thing that may be different between each element of a table is its value.  The elements in the array must all share the same properties.  This would therefore include the names of the different elements that make up the cluster that is a table element.

  It seems that the last group that builds in the table is the one that defines the names of the items that are in the element of the cluster.  You must give all elements of the array with the same name within the cluster.  Or use a cluster of clusters rather than a table of cluster to create your data structure.

  I have associated with an LOV entry field (FieldA) and I configured the LOV to return the value for the field LOV itself plus other 2 values to fill other 2 fields (FieldB and FieldC).

  So I have:

  I would like to see the magnifying of the LOV FieldA field but not his inputText.

  Is it possible to do this? If so, how?

  Could I choose the magnifying glass should appear next to what area?

  -a custom view SYS. CUSTOM_TAB_COLUMNS selects from DBA_TAB_COLUMNS, which is filtered for specific schemas/tables.

• Need to hide, obscure, hide the field entry, but not the field itself

  I did it just now and I used the UGLY way. I had the user to enter in their value, and then on the calculation and the field trip, I changed the value of * asterisks. That sucked because I had to save the entry in an additional variable and it just made my code a big mess. I know there is a better way to do it via script format or typo (I hope!), but I can't wrap my head around how things work. Can someone please help me understand?

  I need to take the value typed into a field and simply hide to hide the value of any person who could open the form later.

  This page has some errors coming JavaScript on it.  If you press Ctrl-Shift-J or Cmd-Shift-J on a Mac in Google Chrome you will bring up the javascript console.  Anything in red is usually a javascript error or a 404 error for assets that are not found... you should always try to clean them.

  In this case, your "expstickybar.js" file is loaded on this page, and he introduces a "jQuery.noConflict (); statement that basically removes the possibility of using the variable ' $' as a quick trigger jQuery methods.  This is not the case on the pages of your catalogue main is because you only reference this script with a relative url: 'expstickybar.js', so when you are on your catalog at http://www.thesanfordcenter.net/suite-menu/appetizers page then it is looking for your javascript to http://www.thesanfordcenter.net/suite-menu/appetizers/expstickybar.js files so it is not find it is coming as a 404 error.

  A fast solution would probably be to try to remove or comment on this first line in expstickybar.js that says "jQuery.noConflict ();".  This might work, but it is also possible that it will break your expstickybar.js script. If this does not work, you should probably go into each of your statements of jQuery in your pages and wrap them up in a function that explicitly said to use the variable "$" for jQuery:

  On a side note, also included two libraries jQuery in your site and that is never a good idea... you have jQuery 1.4.2 loading in the HEAD of your page or the page template and then you are also to load jQuery 1.6.2 in the BODY of your page or your page template.  You must use one or the other.  1.4.2 is old enough now, so if I was you, after you try to correct the mistake of jQuery.noConflict () you have got going, you need to move this jQuery 1.6.2 reference in your BODY element and replace it with jQuery 1.4.2 marked in your HEAD.

  Also - you should change your reference in your page templates to make the "expstickybar.js" a URL relative to the root instead of a relative URL of the file.  Change:

  Also, check if you have defined a format mask. If so, make sure that the time format is included.
