ADF: How to convert column ADF output text to link to the item in the table?

Hello world

I use Jdev 11 G.

I dragged VO as adf read only the table that is to have 10 columns.
now my requirement is to convert the first column "empid" to link the item.
How can I convert this column as a link?

and one more thing by clicking on this link, we should sail to OAF page from empid as parameter.
How can I achieve this?

Any answer will be really useful.

Thank you.

In my opinion, using af: goLink is the right option when you call a page of the outsider.
you do not download workspace sample & test it provided link?
You can select yr af:commandLink in the Structure window & do a right click to select "create a binding of the action method.
In the open dialog box you can choose the "connection method" & then name the bean with the same method name generated by the IDE.

  • text with link in the table

    Hello

    I built a page with a table, in each cell of the table is an image, a link and a text:

    < td > < img src = "images/reddot.gif" width = "15" height = "15" / > < a href = "contrib1.html" / > < table > contributor "

    the text font and size seem ok, but when I added the link it has changed color and become stressed.

    I think it has to do with the fact there is a link, but I don't want it to happen (stamp feet scream, make a cup of tea) how do the text stay plain and black and change when you click light gray?

    any help appreciated here is the bit of css are:

    table {}

    overflow: hidden;

    padding: 1px;

    do-color: #000;

    margin-left: auto;

    margin-right: auto;

    width: 90%;

    are-size: 30px;

    text-align: center;

    You need style your links with CSS.  Add this to your external style sheet, and change colors according to your needs:

    a {text-decoration:none}
    a:link {color: #FF0000;}   /* unvisited link */
    a:visited {color: #00FF00} /* visited link */
    a:hover {color: #FF00FF}   /* mouse over link */

    The only way you can keep the conversion raster vector is to save in Photoshop PDF format. Make sure you save without flattening and choose the option to keep the layers. Your only other option is to use Illustrator for the text and put the photoshop content in Illustrator.

    The new slide show feature is not compatible with older versions. You can play the videos that result or PDF files, but you can use or update your old projects. I'm afraid you will have to keep the old version of elements as well as the other.

  • Text disappears by updating the table of contents

    I work with documents several pages that have been created by someone else in CS3 and then I convert it into CS5. Several times when I tried to update the table of contents, all text in the document disappears. All the objects to hold their positions and nothing else changes except that there is no visible text. I checked the table of contents style settings and can find no difference between a document that updates correctly and which don't. Around her, the only way is to copy and paste the content into a new document. This does not happen with all documents, only about 30%.

    Text disappearing when you update a table of contents is usually a symtom of havint put the table of contents in the main story line. The table of contents must be in a separate story, no wire to anything, because the update replaces the whole story.

  • How to convert datetime in a JSF page or within the object entity of seconds since 1970

    Please HELP I have a column of type bigdecimal seconds since 1970 representing datetime.

    for example

    DateTimeCol

    1333382669.06

    expected output for the datetime type is 2012-04-02 16:04:29

    I build JSF form that display the column DateTimeCol. DateTimeCol type and Date format

    YYYY-MM-DD hh: mm: but the output of the column DateTimeCol is 9616-11-09 03:09:06 and it won't.

    I do not know how to convert (1333382669.06 seconds since 1970) in datetime (2012-04-02 16:04:29)

    I'd appreciate your help.

    Your problem is that the date data type coming milliseconds and not in seconds. You should be abel to do the math and use a

    java.util.Date(your_sec*1000).tostring ();

    Google for a timestamp converter (e.g. Epoch Converter - Unix Timestamp converter) and enter your number

    Entry 1333382669.06 * 10 = 1333382669060 lets you get: (here I use only * 10 that you already have 1/100th of a second!)

    Assuming that this timestamp is in milliseconds:

    GMT: Sunday, March 24, 1974 06:24:26 GMT

  • How to remove a line empty after an anchor of the table?

    We use FrameMaker 12 on Windows 7 (64-bit) platform.

    I'm working my way down to a chapter in the content of the training. I'm at halfway in the chapter, and - as fate would have - I need start a table at the top of a page.

    When I insert a table (with a caption/title at the top), FM creates an anchor at the top of the page. The space to the right of the anchor is a blank line.  In fact, I want the table to start at the top of the page without the white line to the right of the anchor.

    That's what I tried, with results:

    I put the cursor after the anchor and press DELETE.

    Result: The text * under * the table is set up above the table.

    I put the cursor after the last piece of text on the previous page and press DELETE.

    Result: The paragraph on the previous page Stoops to the next page on the top of the table, leaving a large empty space on the previous page.

    I change the start option (Table Designer) at the top of the column (or the top of the Page).

    Result: FM leaves the anchor where she was, move the table until the next page and leaves a completely blank page where the table used to be.

    Is it possible to just go up the table so that it is on the same line as the anchor?

    (And as a design tool problem, is there ALWAYS a reason why a content developer wants a complete line of vacuum over a table?)

    Thank you in advance,

    Tim

    Assuming that your para anchor has a spacing of X:

    • In the Paragraph Designer set it for tea by anchor, base: space: below the FMP: -x
    • In the table designer for the table, set the base: space: above: -x

    >... it NEVER is a reason why a content developer wants a complete line of vacuum over a table?

    A series of tables not run-together, sure. But the hack of negative space above there are quite often do suggests a design control.

  • text box linking to the previous used document

    For some reason when I click on a text box, it opens the previous indesign file that I saved for the current file I'm working on. It pops up in front of the file I'm working on which is very annoying! There is a new feature that creates a link to previous files, that you saved?

  • How to add a link to the tables

    Hello

    If all goes well, there is a simple answer to this question - I had this long table that I created and I separated it until the broadcast on several pages, which links the tables so that the information in the table would pass. -a worked very well!

    I have recently moved these paintings in a new document and now I have these linked tables, I have those individual. I tried to re - bind all text fields, but just, pushes the table down and place the information on it in the form of text, it does not place new information into the table cells as it used to.

    Is it possible to re - linking tables if they are in the same way as they did before?

    Go back to your original document and rather than copy the text boxes, place the text cursor in the first box, and then select all.

    Then paste it into a text box in the new document.

    The copy of the individual images of a related story breaks the links.

    1. find the tables with a column of PRJ_NO name. You can find it in USER_TAB_COLUMNS
    2 write a query to read the data in each table, using the UNION/UNION ALL operators to merge the results for each table

  • Columns not null showing that nullable in the table grid

    I use 2.1.0.63 sql developer.
    I ran the following in my diagram
      CREATE TABLE EXCLUDE_DATA
       (OWNER       VARCHAR2(30),
        TABLE_NAME  VARCHAR2(30),
           COLUMN_NAME VARCHAR2(30),
           CONSTRAINT CK_OWNER CHECK (owner IS NOT NULL) ENABLE,
           CONSTRAINT CK_TABLE_NAME CHECK (table_name IS NOT NULL) ENABLE
       );

     COMMENT ON TABLE EXCLUDE_DATA IS 'Tables and Columns to exclude from the column checker';
     COMMENT ON COLUMN EXCLUDE_DATA.OWNER IS 'The schema that contains the table';
     COMMENT ON COLUMN EXCLUDE_DATA.TABLE_NAME IS 'The table name to be excluded from the column checker';
     COMMENT ON COLUMN EXCLUDE_DATA.COLUMN_NAME IS 'The column on the table to be excluded.  If null then the whole table is excluded';

      CREATE UNIQUE INDEX UK_EXCLUDE_DATA ON EXCLUDE_DATA (OWNER, TABLE_NAME, COLUMN_NAME);
    When the name of the table is selected, and the tab for the column that is selected in the main window it's showng columns as nullable (see below)
    OWNER     VARCHAR2(30 BYTE)     Yes          1     The schema that contains the table
    TABLE_NAME     VARCHAR2(30 BYTE)     Yes          2     The table name to be excluded from the column checker
    COLUMN_NAME     VARCHAR2(30 BYTE)     Yes          3     The column on the table to be excluded.  If null then the whole table is excluded
    The constraints are there however, it looks like a potential problem with just this window.

    CeeJay

    Adding a not null to a column check constraint does not have the non-nullable column.

    Try instead this statement

    CREATE TABLE EXCLUDE_DATA
    (THE VARCHAR2 (30) IN OWNER NOT NULL,)
    TABLE-NAME VARCHAR2 (30) NOT NULL,
    COLUMN_NAME VARCHAR2 (30)
    );

    COMMENT on TABLE EXCLUDE_DATA IS "Tables and columns to exclude from the audit of the column;
    COMMENT ON THE EXCLUDE_DATA COLUMN. OWNER IS 'of the schema that contains the table.
    COMMENT ON THE EXCLUDE_DATA COLUMN. Table_name IS "the name of table to be excluded from the audit of the column;
    COMMENT ON THE EXCLUDE_DATA COLUMN. Column_name IS ' column on the table to be excluded. If set to null, then the entire table is excluded. "

    CREATE A UNIQUE UK_EXCLUDE_DATA ON EXCLUDE_DATA (OWNER, TABLE_NAME, COLUMN_NAME) INDEX;

    The database AUTOMATICALLY adds check for columns NOT NULL constraints.

    Hope this helps

  • How do I change or add constr. foreign key to the table whose children or data lines

    Hello

    I have a table with the name of Department in which the DEPTNO column is a column of data and primary key in it for all columns. Now, I have a table EMP where DEPTNO column is not having any constraints, including constraint foreign key also. I now have data in the EMP table for all columns. I would now add the DEPTNO column foreign key constraint in the EMP table that references the column DEPTNO in DEPT table. Both the table have not all null values.

    I need to add the foreign key without removing the data in the EMP table.

    Please advice.

    Kind regards

    In addition, if you have pre-existing data that will never have a parent record but you want to ensure that any NEW data is consistent with the FK constraint you can always create it with the NOVALIDATE option:

    SQL> CREATE TABLE EMP_BKP AS SELECT * FROM SCOTT.EMP;

    Table created.

    SQL> CREATE TABLE DEPT_BKP AS SELECT * FROM SCOTT.DEPT;

    1 row deleted.

    SQL> ALTER TABLE DEPT_BKP ADD CONSTRAINT DEPT_BKP_PK PRIMARY KEY(DEPTNO);

    SQL> ALTER TABLE EMP_BKP ADD CONSTRAINT DEPT_FK FOREIGN KEY(DEPTNO) REFERENCES DEPT_BKP(DEPTNO);
    ALTER TABLE EMP_BKP ADD CONSTRAINT DEPT_FK FOREIGN KEY(DEPTNO) REFERENCES DEPT_BKP(DEPTNO)
